My wife's croissant pastry was delicious, by the way. I think if you stick with the sweet treats you will be okay. Self serve your own food, which works for this place. Cashier at checkout wasn't too friendly but wasn't rude. Bright and welcoming place but not cheap. $62 to feel a bit underwhelmed.

Finally, Paris Baguette is open in Charlotte!! Can't believe it took this long for these bakeries to make their way to Charlotte. I, for one, have given up waiting...and have been enjoying Tous Les Jours and Paris Baguette (and several other Korean bakeries) in other US cities for many years. Though unknown in these parts, Korean bakeries are huge in Asia, and metro cities around the world. Still, am glad it finally hit the Queen City...better later than never??? Somehow I was expecting a much bigger layout (like the one in Duluth!), but this one will do...as it has plenty of pastry-plus selection. To see their full selection, I suggest getting there earlier in the day...they go fast! Not only does this location carry a good selection puffy pastries, they also have a good deli selection. So I stocked up on a variety of pastries, as well as sandos to bring home. In addition to a few fruity pastries, we tried the Turkey & Avocado Baguette, Egg Salad Sandwich and Tuna Salad Sandwich...and they were all DEE-Lish! Just like all the pastries, all of their deli items are super-fresh...made in-house! I also tried their Iced Matcha Latte...and I found it a tad too sweet. Think I prefer Tous Les Jours' version of that. In any case, I'm an absolute Whore when it comes to puffy pastries, so am so glad we have these bakeries in town...at last!

A perfect cozy spot to enjoy a drink, do some work, meet a friend etc. I ordered a matcha with toffee and it was phenomenal. My husband got a cold brew- they put coffee ice cubes in which is a nice touch and when I asked for cream and sugar they measured the sugar and added hot water to make a simple syrup so it wouldn't be a gritty mess in the cup. What a wonderful added touch! They have over a dozen different flavor syrups, use organic matcha, have Vietnamese or Turkish coffee and even cafe con leche. The baked good in the case also looked phenomenal. Also two large drinks were $10.47 and the cups were as big as a Starbucks venti (which are now like $7 a piece) Thanks for a great experience bill and bobs!!

But Bill grabbed me some fresh cream and all was good, good spot to do some research. I came here once before and I don't remember it being as coffee culture. I think maybe Bill got brought in after Bob and he fixed it up. Nice job Bill! Heads up, just ask what's in the specialty drinks before you commit as some of them aren't traditionally made.

We ordered a mocha and a latte with oat milk. I had mine with vanilla and caramel, and even added extra simple syrup. Unfortunately, the drinks just didn't stand out. I found myself sipping more for the caffeine than the flavor, and by the end, I couldn't really remember the taste. I was hoping to recreate that rich, memorable coffee experience I've had in Asheville, but this didn't quite hit the same. That said, I do appreciate the atmosphere and the friendly service, so I'd be open to giving it another try in the future.

I've been to several of their locations around the Charlotte area and they all share the same strengths: consistently great coffee, friendly baristas, and a calm, grounded atmosphere that makes even a quick stop feel like a small reset in the day. This particular shop isn't large, and the laptop crowd has definitely discovered it. There are only a handful of tables, so I felt genuinely lucky to land the last open one and settle in with my cortado. The drink was exactly what I expect from Summit every time, rich and balanced and served with the kind of quiet confidence that comes from a place that knows what it's doing. I opened the laptop, got a bit of work done, and enjoyed the rhythm of the room as people drifted in and out. And when the cortado was gone, so was I. It's the kind of space where I felt a gentle responsibility to make room for the next person once I've had your moment, especially on a busy morning. Even with its small footprint, it remains one of the most dependable coffee experiences in the area, and I always leave feeling like the stop was worth it. If you've tried their other locations, this one will feel familiar in the best way. If you haven't, it's a great introduction to what Summit does so well. I got the "snickerdoodle" and my husband got the "morning buzz". Both tasted great, not too sweet which is good because I really can't be drinking too much sugar anyway. The vibes were great, I just wish this place could employ an extra staff member so you can really connect with your barista. My #1 vibe killer is not being able to connect with the person who made you your morning wake-up. Definitely will consider stopping again the next time we're in town though. 4/5 - vibes were off +1 for a determined 1-man-staff! Suggestion: Add more flavors. Especially anything with cinnamon!

The place has such a cool vibe cute decor, chill music, and it feels like the perfect spot to sit and get some work done. The guy behind the counter was super sweet and fast with our drinks. Camila got a lemonade that was so good, Adrian had an iced chocolate milk with almond milk that he loved, and my iced caramel latte was perfectly balanced and yummy. The burrito was okay, but the chocolate croissant and cinnamon twist were definitely the stars flaky, buttery, and full of flavor. And I noticed they sell coffee beans too they smelled so good through the bag! I'll definitely be coming back to grab some once I run out.
