The store is clean, well-stocked, and offers a nice variety of products, making it a reliable option for shopping. The environment feels safe, and overall, I'd say 4 out of 5 customer experiences here are positive. The only downside I've noticed is an increase in panhandling in the parking lot, which isn't exactly ideal. It doesn't feel unsafe, but it does take away from the otherwise pleasant shopping experience. Hopefully, that's something that can be addressed to keep the store and its surroundings as welcoming as possible.

The whole purpose of DIGITAL COUPONS is so that you dont have to carry around a bunch of coupons you clipp them online and they go to your loyalty card account. It would be helpful if you train your employees on services you offer and how they work so customers are not inconvenienced.

They aren't a perfect choice but these days they are usually my go-to. They usually have the Horizon milk I like as well as the Ocean spray diet cranberry juice. These items seem to be difficult to keep in stock at other stores. The only thing I wish for is a better fruit and veg department and then I would never have to go anywhere else!

That's how I first came to know about this very successful and moderately priced and accessible grocery store chain. You can see Food Lions everywhere you go. My brother lived in Salisbury so he knew firsthand about the Ketner family and the hometown of Food Lion. My Mom, may she rest in peace, used to call it the Hungry Lion. She had a nickname for everything! Of all the Food Lions I have visited over the years since I moved to North Carolina in 1989, the one that has stolen my heart is the Food Lion by Cornwallis and Church Street. It is definitely my go-to when I need a few things and don't want to schlep or pay the price of Harris teeter. I love hopping in my car in my ugliest clothes and taking the quick less than 5-minute ride up Yanceyville, make a left on Cornwallis and there she is on the right. How many times have I made that trip? Food Lion at Cornwallis Shopping Center has everything you need. It's my go-to for my basics like almond milk, sugar-free, chocolate pudding, diet Coke, and high fiber low calorie English muffins. Sometimes I've enjoyed their produce. I just bought a honeydew there the other day. Waited a few days and put it in the fridge. And oh my God is it sweet and delicious. I also bought a bunch of grapes the other day that are terrific. I must confess, I am one of those people that pops a few grapes in my mouth before I'm willing to lay down $6 for a bag. I always wonder if one of these days security is going to catch me on camera and address the issue with me at checkout. So far so good! LOL Their Lean grounded turkey is much cheaper than anywhere else and if you buy what is on sale, you can get some really good stuff at a really good price. Although most people I run into there are strangers to me, I will occasionally find another colleague or friend "slumming it" on the "dl" and running up and down the aisles of Food Lion for convenience and price. I enjoy the uniqueness of Trader Joe's, the great prices at Aldi's, the lush and abundant options at Harris Teeter and the ability at Walmart to get your groceries and some clothes on the same trip, but when all the said and done, it is the Food Lion at Cornwallis that gets most of my business. Never underestimate the value of proximity, convenience and price! Next time you go and you see this Jewish guy walking around with a baseball cap and glasses and gray sweats, that's me! Say "hey" and I'll sneak you a grape!!

Haha, kidding about the latter. I don't drink Four Loko porque soy no loco. I love this place. I love the foreign owner's ambition. He's got big dreams, and ambition's; go big or stay home, just like me. First of all, the word "beer" in the front of the place should be in a huge font and have glowing lights, because boy do they have beer for a small mart. The owner has temperature controlled freezer's, and about fifty different micro brews available like he's situated in bustling Times Square. It's pretty sweet. I was looking at one end of the store at all the beers, and he enthusiastically pointed to the other side and said "look behind the chips, look behind the chips." He grabbed my hand and actually held it as he led me to this sacred area behind the chips. Sure enough there were ten more micro brews. This place is awesome. It's very progressive for this area, and can give any small mart in the country a run for it's money with it's variety of beers. The owner is a really nice guy and seems very committed to making sure you are happy, which let's face it, is a pretty rare gesture in this day and age. He tells me every time I go in there that if I can't find something I want, he will be happy to get it for me. I'm sure he would do the same for you if you visited the quick mart.

I got a little over 8 gallons. One thing I did noticed was that they changed the pumps. It's now Circle K pumps versus Mobile pumps. It's even changed on the Upside app. However, Im still able to collect and redeem Exxon-Mobile rewards points. It's kinda odd because the main part is Circle K but the rest of the pump still says Mobil. I only use certain brands so I may have to stop coming here if it's Circle K gas. I also noticed that there were several pumps that were out of order as it had the yellow thing on the pump.

A few years back, this was Cindy's Food Mart, and served up much of the same fare, and like Cindy's, has little or no exposure outside its immediate neighborhood, and yet there is good food here, what it lack's is ambiance - and a place to sit and eat, and someone to attend to your empty glass. But to the food - the Fried Chicken is excellent - with a great flavor, a perfect & well seasoned crust, and a touch of dryness from resting under the heat lamp. The Chicken Sandwich is quite nice, though other than the bun, it is offered up quite naked & alone - only to be rescued by a bit of mayo, salt, and pepper. The Chili Dog was nice, with some meaty chili, a decent wiener, and a soft bun. This is another dog I would not search out again on its own, but if passing by, the combination of food items here would be attractive for a stop.
