Each time I have ordered the Chocolate Milkshakes over the past year, are not very thick.

Usually crowded but still easy to get in and out of. Low turnover of staff. Gas prices usually low, good selection of drinks.

It's towards the beginning/end of Warrenton's Main Street, and it had more options that we were even ready for (hence the multiple times we went back up to the counter to try a new goodie). Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, despite the fact I could not finish my Star Spangled Drink bc it had a whole scoop of ice cream in there! My intentions were to finish it, but my husband had to help. The food was a perfect light breakfast packed with flavor, but the treats and lemonade had even more! Those Oreo cake balls were chefs kiss along with the lemonade... it was so fresh. Also, we didn't finish all of our treats in this outing, but since we took the cinnamon roll home we heated it up for 5 mins on 350... also chefs kiss. Next time we go, we know we're going to order two of the pizza pockets, Oreo cake balls, and might try a regular lemonade with strawberry or lavender syrup-- all with a specialty drink of course Check this place out on the morning you don't know where to go, and you won't be disappointed!

There are places you go because you need something, and there are places you go because life is…read morejust better when you do. Messick's falls into that second category. You start out thinking it's just a farm market but inside, the place has all the usual farm market suspects--fresh produce, baked goods, meats--but then you notice the food counter. That's where things go sideways in the best possible way. The sandwiches are flat-out good, not "good for a farm store," but actually good. And the breakfast burritos are not normal human-sized food. They're the kind of burritos that make you reconsider your life choices halfway through eating one, in a positive way. Outside is where Messick's really shows off. Kids running everywhere, farm people doing what farm people do, and enough seasonal activities to keep families occupied until everyone forgets what time it is. It's the kind of place where parents sit down "for just a minute" and then suddenly it's an hour later and nobody is in a hurry to leave. If you're rolling in with a camper, it also works as a Harvest Hosts stop, which is a polite way of saying you can legally fall asleep there without anyone bothering you. Parking is easy in a grass-and-gravel area that's simple to level into, and once the day crowd clears out it gets quiet in that good country way. Verizon signal holds up well too, which is either a blessing or a curse depending on how hard you were trying to escape emails. What makes Messick's dangerous is that it's not trying to be anything other than what it is--but it ends up being more anyway. You go for a quick stop and leave feeling like you accidentally spent the afternoon at somebody's family reunion, except nobody made you help clean up afterward. In a world full of overcomplicated stops and underwhelming food, Messick's is refreshingly simple: good food, good people, and just enough chaos to make it interesting.

It's 15 dollars to get in and there is so much for the kids to do. Even my teenagers had fun just picking berries and going in the maze. The people working there were so freaking sweet I just am in love. They had a "limited menu" of food but it ranged from chicken salad sandwiches to mozzarella sticks or a hot dog, fries were super crispy and fresh, and it was more than enough to eat and enjoy the scenery. You could pick your own flowers, pick berries, zip line, petting zoo, it was just awesome . So fun.

I and my child are African American. When we walked in there was 2 people in front of us. She took their orders and when we were about to be next she walked away from the register. We stood there for about 3-5 mins when another associate asked if we had been helped. That's when she walked back over mind you without a smile, a greeting or anything. Being a business owner myself I approached her the complete opposite. I smiled and said hello how are you? She proceed to just aske for our order with no enthusiasm or anything. She didn't even ask for a name for our order. The called the name of my drink out and just put my daughters drink on the counter. I just happen to look and see it was there. I happen to frequent Starbucks a lot, pay full price without using any stars or receiving them, but it was my first and last time going to that location. I was going to see if I could have a Notary event there, bring in some business with my event and potentially some other business ventures but after that experience I will drive further just to get Starbucks and the service I expect from this establishment. Obviously hosting my business at another location.

Until this Sbux - there was no place to get good espresso and such - without driving into Warrenton or further (McDonald's and Sheetz don't qualify). It's located in a small retail complex just off of U.S. 17 called the "Mintbrook Village Center." It looks pretty new - so I pulled in and walked inside and ordered a Grande Cold Brew with a splash of Half n' Half. I asked how long this location has been open - the gent at the register said its been open about a year or so. Drink was strong and tasty! There is a lot of seating at the location - both inside and outside. There is also a Drive-Thru. Service was good! Paid with the Starbucks App on iPhone. #Starbucks

Although it was crowded when we arrived, they had plenty of parking in the back of their lot. We grabbed a table under a tree to provide some shade and went to order. Despite the long line, it moved very quickly. When we got up to the front, the cashier asked if we were veterans, seeing everyone wearing their combat service affiliations for the rider's group. For ease of ordering, we put everything on one tab, and were absolutely amazed by the incredibly generous military discount! (The group was truly touched, so thank you very much to Moo Thru for honoring their service.) The ice cream was delivered to us from the back window. It was delicious!! The ice cream was so creamy, and I could eat a whole gallon of the cookies & cream. There is a drive-through but also some picnic tables and a parking area to eat. In addition to ice cream, they offer beverages and basic American food. While it is a dairy-focused institution, they do offer sorbet.

She acknowledged it was warm - but that was about it. It was nicer outside temp wise - but at this time of the year - the pollen levels are now in the high range - I did not want to sit outside and inhale more pollen. And it's to warm inside. I ordered a tasting flight of 5 ciders. They ciders are served in cool looking test tubes - from a "Lab," - hence the name of the place. My cider flight included (with associated Untappd rankings): Green Apple (4 stars) Blueberry Peach Jerk'm (4 stars) Elderberry Cider (4 stars) Passionate Perry (2.75 stars) Blackberry Jerk'm (1.75 stars) I really enjoyed the first three in the list - the Passionate Perry just did not resonate with my taste buds - and the Blackberry Jerk'm was bordering on a cough syrup taste. I did not drink all of my tasting flight - as it was to warm inside for me - so I really could not enjoy them the way I wanted to. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay.
