We absolutely love the gelato here because the flavors are rich and delicious without being overly sweet. It's become one of our go-to places whenever we're craving something sweet. Every time we visit, we tell ourselves we're going to try a new flavor, but somehow we always end up choosing the same two favorites: Pistachio and Peanut Butter. They're just that good! If it's your first time visiting Frost Gelato, I highly recommend trying these two flavors. They're our absolute favorites, and we keep coming back to them every single time!

Hot August days in Austin call for some ice-cold gelato, and this place definitely hit the spot. We…read morepicked this place because my cousin had friends who used to work here during high school, but this was my first time stepping foot inside. I've had my fair share of ice cream and gelato, and I can solidly say that this place is decent. The gelato is creamy and soft, and the flavors are pretty good. They also have a large array of flavors, so there's definitely something for everyone. My biggest complaint would probably be the price. $7 for the smallest size isn't terrible, but compared to other ice cream spots around Austin, it does feel a little expensive. For example, Jeni's also charges around $7 for its smallest size, but you get noticeably more. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're looking for a refreshing gelato on a hot Austin day. I enjoyed it, but with the price and the number of other ice cream and gelato options around, I'm not sure it would be my first choice.

When we arrived, there was not an open table in the main lobby. I kind of expected the cafe to be empty or just slightly busy. I did not expect it to be slammed. On top of it, there was only one barista working behind the counter, and she was absolutely burning through those espresso shots. As we waited in line, she would alternate between getting a few orders out and taking a few orders. She was honestly a star for that. I ordered the signature Honey Lavender Latte while my girlfriend got the Blueberry Ube Matcha. As we waited for our drinks, I made a craft pinwheel they had laying around and couldn't help but notice all the Capital One branding around me. It felt like the Taco Bells in Demolition Man. Everything is Capital One now. Around the cafe, like the commercials you can't help but see with your favorite celebrity icons during any sporting event, are Capital One employees there to help you open credit cards and other things. That wasn't my purpose inside the cafe, but they're there. Once we got our coffees, I stepped outside and drank the entire thing in mere seconds. I was hot, I was thirsty, and I drank my coffee. It wasn't anything special, but it was not a bad coffee. Maybe just a little sweeter than I expected. Overall, as a Capital One cardholder, I don't hate the perk of $3.50 lattes in our current financial state, and I'll definitely make more stops when I'm back at The Domain as long as I can ignore the propaganda.
