He advised me that they had purposefully set this up so that the pumps will not work to take payment so that people have to come inside so they can make more sales. I'll be avoiding this one from now on because when I'm in a hurry, I don't need to be standing in line behind people buying lottery tickets.

Today (3/10/22) they are installing brand new gas pumps. I used to come here on a near daily basis. They used to hold on to their employees really well and I could say to them by name and they would ask how things were going if they hadn't seen me in a while. It was nice to be noticed and missed, ngl. But, something has changed in the last 6-8 months and there has been a lot of turnover. This led to some problems. For example: The soda & ice machines weren't getting cleaned properly and that black gooey mold was coming out with the ice and there was some gross build up around the hole where the ice comes out. (Needless to say, I owe a thank you to them for kicking my soda habit. I'm a silver linings kind of gal, haha.) In all honesty that was a scary gross health hazard and I'm glad it has now been resolved. There is still a lot of turnover with employees so I am concerned these issues could get neglected again. Not sure what has caused the extreme turnover but glad things started moving in a positive direction again as far as cleanliness. I'm obviously not coming in daily anymore, but I'm hopeful to continue to see improvement. There has been some remodeling inside the store, and like I mentioned above, they are putting in new pumps today. They have cold beer to grab for your cooler for a beach day. They have lots of snacks. Need to air up your tires? I think it's $1.50 and the machine takes credit card because who has that many quarters on hand. Lol. Basically, despite the downhill turn this location was taking, they've now been turning things around in the right direction. I hope they can get back to normal soon and also maintain it....and I feel hopeful they will. Hence 3 stars. Once some time has passed and if they achieve this I'll update my review.

I was instructed to sign up for Mobil rewards and I immediately cancelled after finding I didn't receiving any rewards off except multiple spam texts. You can't go wrong with 2/$4 Krispy Kreme's without having to go to the actual shop! Restrooms are clean. The store has lots of hot food items to pick from that you don't have to wait for (like the other location that never has hotdogs ready). This is one of the best gas station rewards programs so I highly recommend if you're a snacker & want to build up gas pints! Gas prices are typical for the area, sometimes a cent or two higher.

I like the corner lot set up and the light for indicating which pump is available. Each lane has three pumps and when you're several cars back you may miss when the driver at the first or middle pumps drive off -- having the red/green pump indicator was a great idea. Even when the line is long, the wait isn't usually bad due to having the 3-in-a-row pumps versus other locations that have only 2-in-a-row. All of the stations have long connectors so you don't have to fret as to whether or not you're in a lane that matches the side that your tank is on. However, old habits die hard and I still prefer to wait in a lane that matches...even if the line is a little longer.

The thing that I love most about this gas station is the usage of red and green lights for pumps that are available and taken. When there are long lines waiting to fill up your tank, these come in handy to know when a spot opens up for you. I've never had issues at this location and I'll continue getting my gas there!
