I recently stayed at the 7 Cedars Lodge and Casino. We have six kids so we thought we would have a little getaway for Valentines day and enjoy a hotel stay with some peace and quiet. The hotel was beautiful at first glance, bed was comfortable. The NOISE level was insane! The walls are so thin that upstairs was thump thump thump almost all night.... The hallway you could hear people talking and next door you can hear people! It was the worst night of sleep we have had in a long time and that's saying something when You have 6 kids! Never again will we stay here! read more

On Venterans day 50 years ago we were married. I an also a veteran so I made resavasion to celeabrate Veterans Day and our 50th anavercy. After arriving at the restrant we were told we need our vacations cards to use the restrant. They did not say any thing about it on the phone. They should have told us that! Next the lady at resavasion desk became rude because we did not have our vac cards. We stop at the front desk to complain about what had gone on so far. I was then told I can fill out a complaint card if I want. Once again this was in a very rude tone of voice from a second employee. I then talked to a Casino manager after telling the complete story. I added that this was our 50th Anavercy. She told me that was a shame but gthere was nothing she can do. To me it sound more like tough luck Mr. Just go away. Seven Cedars in my opinion is not a good place to make important celebrations it was the worst experience we have had at any Casino. read more

The facility is very small, little more expanding would be nice and up grade some of the machines would be also nice, as well as chairs are very uncomfortable replace it would be very nice as well. the foods are need improve both tasty and quality of food that we pay to eat. place need little more clean, especially smoking section. read more

Like a lot of residents that live in Hawaii, I like to gamble. And most everywhere I travel to, I always try to hit up at least one casino. 7 Cedars Casino is about twenty miles away from Port Angeles, in Sequim, WA. It's about a 30 minute drive depending on the weather conditions. Fortunately for us, the snow and ice from the day before had already melted making the driving conditions good. This casino isn't very big and table games are limited. But there was a Crap table, so that works for me. Oh, and a Roulette table for funsies too, so that was also good. As I walked through the entire casino, I did notice that the majority of the slot machines were mostly penny slots, and video poker games were only at the bar. We had dinner at the Totem Bar & Grill twice. AYCE Shrimp and Chips was the special one night, so we got that, and for the second night, we ordered off the menu. The food is good and service is excellent. 7 Cedars Casino is not a hotel and casino and they do not remain open 24-7. The staff here are all very friendly, helpful, and professional. If you're ever passing through Sequim, I would encourage you to stop in. If not to gamble, at least for a bite to eat. read more

We had our first stay at 7 Cedars and will definitely return! The rooms are well designed and spacious. Every staff member (specifically Ethan and Celli at the front desk) was attentive, professional and very pleasant. The service (Jared) and food at 7 Brothers Fine Dining was exceptional. First of all they do not allow seeing eye dogs in the hotel. The confirmation email said no pets not no service animals. This is not a pet the guy needs his dog to help him see. We took a ferry and drove an hour to get there only to have our blind friend get slapped in the face! We asked to talk to a manager only to find out it's her day off on the busiest day of the week and they said they would absolutely not bother her and we could call on Monday. WOW So basically if you have a disability they don't want to be bothered by you. I'm glad we didn't spend money at a place that discriminates and I'd advise you don't either. I bet they won't even "bother" to respond. I appreciate you responding. I don't think hiding under the covid excuse is going to fly for very long. Seeing eye dogs are licensed and under strict grooming standards because they need to be able to go inside restaurants. I'm sure the dog is cleaner than half the people that walk in there. If cleanliness is a worry then people should have to take off their shoes before going into the rooms because they touch the same things the dog does. Yes the snarky front desk person tried to get us a nearby hotel but that's not what we drove all the way to Squim to do we didn't want to drive back and forth to the casino either what a pain. If you're worried about covid safety I suggest you don't allow maskless smoking duh. But I fear it's just about money not customer safety. No I won't be going to your hotel or casino until you decide to do the right thing which I'm sure won't happen read more

This place has an impressive menu. But be wary, the night we went, it took an hour and half to get the entrée. The salad was great, but waiting more than an hour between the salad and the entrée was ridiculous. The fried oysters were almost burnt and the vegetables with my steak were disgusting. Never going back and don't advise that you do either. read more

The service is phenomenal very courteous and service minded staff. On the other hand no way in hell have those Cooks had any formal culinary training. We ordered the salmon dish it's really hard to screw up unless you overcook it to the point that it's just dead meat. Also ordered fried oysters what should be very simple. The oysters had a beautiful crust and a pile of mush inside of it. We ordered a whiskey Burger it was well done well prepared and we enjoyed that. Save your money for other options this is our third time attempting to extract a decent meal from this restaurant and we're done We know the management cares and are doing everything they can to create a quality environment but they missed it on qualifying and training their Cooks their Cooks. The best we can tell when we arrived there was only another one other couple there but we had to wait an excessive amount of time before our food arrived. read more

Some good, some horrible. Place is very clean, well kept. Stayed one night in hotel, which is 1 year old. I am disabled, so we asked for a room CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE ELEVATORS. They gave us an ADA room. I did not care or want that.. wanted close to elevators, but we were 8 doors down from it. Very hard/painful for me to walk, even with my walker. Room was new, clean, pretty. BIG PROBLEM; Beds were like 5 feet high! WHY? I am disabled, have severe arthritis in every joint. Could not get up on the bed. Had to improvise with a wooden bench from bathroom. Problem was if I did not step in exact middle of bench, it would tip. Getting in and out of bed at 3 am to pee was very hard and painful. Beds WAY TOO HIGH, hated them, very painful night. Bathrooms very pretty, huge shower stall with nice sprayer. Bathroom doors slide open, have frosted glass windows. Sliding the door open was very noisy and night light shined thru bathroom window. Disturbed partner in middle of the night. Also door would slide back open, never stayed shut. All staff we encountered were very nice. Including 2 different women working in gift shop, casino staff, restaurant personnel. Ate at 7 Brothers for dinner and breakfast. Rib special was not great, but pretty good. Breakfast was much better. Disappointed that the Bourbon bar was closed. Casino is small, but hubs won at craps-- so he bought me a beautiful pendant in the gift shop. read more

We didn't stay at the hotel because it was booked for our trip dates, but it looks like a nice hotel. We gambled 2 different days. The pizza restaurant served good food and staff was helpful and attentive. Unfortunately one of your young servers ruined our experience Saturday July 16. I was playing slots near the Bear Den (?) bar in the non smoking area, and the server came over to me and advised me I couldn't drink the bottled drink I had just purchased at the pizza restaurant inside the casino. I informed her I had just eaten lunch there and purchased the bottled drink there. She paused and repeated her message that I couldn't drink outside beverages in the casino. I told her again where I had purchased it. She paused again and said she could pour it into a glass. My answer? No thanks. I cashed out of the slot machine and left to meet up with my spouse in the smoking section. On the way I passed someone from the casino who appeared to be in a supervisory role. I told her my story and she apologized and said the server was very wrong. I didn't get names but it doesn't matter. We wasted too much hard earned money at this crappy casino to ever return. Please train your staff better and treat the people who are paying their wages better. There are plenty of casinos with slots in this state and we do visit most of them regularly. this is the worst casino i have ever been to!!! the food is way over priced and of low quality. the casino slot machines do not hardly pay out at all. when i finally got a good paying bonus and was very loud and excited to finally be winning some of my money back, the head of security asked me to quiet down or he would have to escort me out of the casino. so, being a loud mouthed italian i once again shouted an excited yell when i finally got another good paying bonus and this time security told me to cash out of the machine and leave the casino for being too loud!!! i will never step foot into 7 cedars casino ever again!!! if they treat any players that badly just for enjoying themselves then they are in the wrong fucking business!!! read more

We stayed at the Cedars hotel for one night prior to taking the ferry in Port Angeles. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, conveniently located to the ferry and has friendly staff. The beds we're comfortable and rooms had nice amenities along with a water filtration machine near and ice machine. We will definitely stay here again! read more

Parked in the parking lot next to a vehicle that must have been parked by a drunk because it was about 5 feet out of the space and into the street. The car on the other side had a bunjee-corded hood. Stayed in the hotel, a two queen bed room for a decent price. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The hallways are lined with beautiful Native American art. The gift shop has a variety of trinkets and wine. There's also a coffee shop that's on the pricier side but the coffee was tasty. All the employees were very friendly. Masks are still being required inside. There is a very cozy patio area beside the building with heat lamps and propane fire pits. The fire pit we sat at wouldn't turn on, might have been out of propane. Took a walk around the property and although it's right off the main road, the sound of cars isn't prominent and the grounds are very well kept. There are some grassy areas and amazing totem poles around. Overall had a great experience. Didn't have time to check out the casino or restaurant onsite, would definitely come back. read more

The hotel is beautiful and rooms are lovely. Rooms are large and the beds are comfy. BUT, the price of a room in this resort hotel do not align with the service you receive upon check in and it is one of the pricier rooms in Sequim. Parking is very far from the doors of the hotel (a few spots in front but most are on the casino side). Staff seemed very rushed, irritable, and let us know how "busy" they were any time we had a question, wanted food, or tried to check in. Our in room tablet with all information about the hotel was "down" throughout our entire stay. Food was just okay- not bad but not great and again it was on the pricier side and service at restaurants was not good. Ordering for take out (due to lack of room service) is a hassle and they will send you to the bar only to tell you they are "busy." It can get a little noisy at night, and we had no problems hearing the people in the room next to us, as well as people in the hall coming in at 2:00 am. It is such a shame because the hotel is beautiful. The artwork on the walls is beautiful, but they need to lower the cost of the room to reflect the service. I get the sense that the employees are overworked and there aren't enough of them. read more

Take my review with a grain of salt since I'm not a gambler. I am reviewing for the lights and the buffet. We came to 7 Cedars to see the Christmas lights. They really go all out at the casino and in Jamestown down the road with the Christmas lights. It's beautiful and well worth the drive to see them. I felt like a little kid oohing and ahhing over the lights! Everyone we came in contact with at the casino was nice except the woman who said my Mom looked like she could get the senior special price at the buffet. Haha! My Mom wasn't too happy about that. We all got the buffet. $17 for all you can eat and $15 for seniors which I think is 55 and over. The prime rib was my favorite part. The other items I tried were good but nothing stood out to me like the prime rib. Their salad bar seemed nice and they had a whole dessert station although we didn't have dessert. Pints of beer were $5. They had a decent selection of drafts. I think the price for the buffet was pretty reasonable considering the offerings available. read more

Great Little Casino. Smoking allowed but doesn't seem as bad as some other Casinos. Can't say much for the Gambling, since I normally stop a $20 ! Lol. This one is not very big but on a current visit I did notice they opened up more machines in the old Event Ctr/Bingo Hall. Usually very clean. Nice little Gift Shop. Lots of Totem Poles (Inside & Out) Restaurants Have sit-down areas that are very nice but you can also order anything from right where you sit including the "Seven" Bar, which also has a nice stage setup for Live acts. On our way back from Hurricane Ridge and we got a little hungry. So we stopped at 7 Cedars. Every tribal casino I've gone to in Washington has had really good food. 7 Cedars restaurant was. . . I'm trying to find a polite way of saying "bad." But I can't. It was bad. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff, which is what you expect from a tribal casino. The casino floor was a lot smaller than I expected. It looks much larger from the outside. The 600 seat bingo room takes up almost half the building. Would I drive way out there to eat or gamble? Nope. If you live in the area, I guess it's a convenient place to gamble, eat and chill out at. But as a visitor, I know there are better options. read more

I love this place, the staff is always cheerful and friendly, and there's a small non-smoking section as well when it comes to playing slots. They went through a renovation this year which included removing their buffet in place of a new restaurant. I went to the buffet for thanksgiving every year and was dreading my thanksgiving trip this year due to its removal, BUT.... I was pleasantly surprised. Let me start by saying I'm not a huge gambler or fan of casinos as a whole, however, this place was quite nice. We stopped here nearing the end of a long day of driving. We went into the dining area which was a restaurant and a small bar. It appeared to be a sports bar of sorts and as it was Monday night we got a great seat where we could both watch the action. The hostess and waitress were friendly and efficient. We ordered and I have to say the fresh salad with chicken topping it was huge and very tasty. I actually ended up taking half of the salad back to where we were staying so I could each the rest the next day. We put around $20 a piece in the machines he came out ahead and I lost it all. This is normally how it goes for me. :) It was fun and they seem to have fairly current machines. They have a loyalty card there which we didn't stop to sign up for as we don't get up this way a whole lot but it might be worthwhile if you plan to put a lot of money into the machines. I didn't notice if they had table games but they may have there. All in all a pleasant experience. I would stop back by for food, drink and some gambling. read more

I am a frequent of seven cedars casino and have the top tier players card with an average yearly play of about 40k. I have had a horrible experience in the hotel that I think needs to be said. Was first given an occupied room, after that we were sent to two different rooms where the heaters in the room were not working. I have my retired parents with me and over the course of an hour we had to move our luggage to 3 different floors and 4 different rooms to finally find one suitable to stay. The hotel has really gone down hill since they opened it 3 years ago. No upkeep, disgusting elevators, when we went to the desk to complain we were dismissed with a 25 dollar food voucher. Which is roughly enough for one person to eat. If you come to sequim I would avoid the hotel. Seems like they don't care about the stay but only weather your spending your money. I will be taking my family and my play elsewhere. Just frustrated as I'm a local to sequim and was treated like I do not matter. Food for thought when your booking your next sequim adventure. read more

Don't expect a Vegas experience here. Checked in to the New hotel, very nice staff! Stayed in the Salish Sea Suite, nice room but lacked a fireplace which I thought would be a great idea on the Peninsula, HUGE 6 person shower, plenty of room for a soaking tub though with the shower. Made Dinner reservations at Seven Brother's, there nicer dinning option, seated at 7:30 pm on a busy Saturday night, 2 hour non reservation, same for Friday, and waitress informs us, "we're outta Prime Rib".....WHAT? On a Saturday night?so I order the 16 ounce Rib Eye only to have a 1/2 piece of meat show up with a lot of grissle..... I've had better DINER steaks! (This was a $40 steak!).......small casino, had room service from 5 pm till midnight but NO BREAKFAST ROOM SERVICE! (Even on the weekends??) in all, a nice place but they missed the finer points when it comes to a $400 a night room and "fine" dinning... read more

Ya I'm pretty sure anyone that passes through the PNW on 101 has stopped in and had one of the daily specials. Its a hit and miss. At times the wait could be a bit long however the staff are always very friendly. I would stay away from the prime rib night as both time it was pretty tuff. We live just a few miles away so we gone a few times. The biggest problem they have is the smoke from the smoking side of the Casino it's very bad. You have to wait in the lobby witch is right next to the open doors ‍. I think they could do a much better job to mediate the smoke and smell. read more

Food and hotel are awesome. Casino not so much. They have remade part of the smoking slots area to a sports better lounge. The elders may have to rethink that as the majority of the area consists of seniors. They like to play the slots (in particular the older ones) not bet. Not only is the hotel amazing but, both my husband and I could not have been more impressed by their staff in every area of all of the varied facilities. A Staycation in Sequim is just a short drive away but, we felt transported to a Five Star resort, that made it very difficult to return home. read more

This morning we had breakfast at the 7 Brothers Restaurant. Our reservation was for 9:30am & when we arrived our table was ready for the three of us. The service & food was excellent. My husband had French toast with eggs, the toast came smothered in fresh berries plus the syrup was real Maple syrup. I had the veggie browns with a biscuit, the veggies were perfectly prepared & the hash brown were crispy. Our Grandson had biscuit & gravy with eggs, he said it was one of the best.
