We stayed in Feb. 2024 and were pleased to see they upgraded the units since our last stay in 2015. All the furniture, kitchen and interior furnishings were upgraded. They replaced the master bedroom jacuzzi with just a large non-jetted tub. They still do not provide free WIFI which was a disappointment. Most nice resorts provide free WIFI. And they now charge a tourism/travel tax of $11.66 daily or $81.0 for the week. A tip for future timeshare travelers: These are 5 story townhouses with 4 different levels so you need to be mobile and in good health to go up/down all these stairs. They do have a limited number of handicapped units, but I'm not sure how you can get one as RCI didn't offer it. There still isn't a restaurant on-site so you have to get your groceries in Sequim. There isn't anything near the resort except the dock and the pool and jacuzzi was closed for remodeling. And it even snowed 4" today, but melted quickly. read more

Avoid WorldMark like... well, like COVID. Ever since Wyndham took over, it's been a complete sh*tshow. They don't care about owners, even those of us who have owned for 20+ years. And they apparently don't care about keeping ppl safe during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Owner points were not extended during COVID and cleaning is abysmal. This is our third visits at this resort and we were o happy to see all the improvements that they made. Exterior paint, new playground, interior was so much better and more modern as well. And they finally have bigger tvs with more channels and their WiFi is so much better then before as well. The room was so clean unlike previous times that we stayed there. We booked this resort through RCI, and were contacted less than 24 hours before check in and were told they had overbooked. We were supposed to stay Saturday through Saturday, and were told they had room for us for three nights, starting on Monday night. RCI told us that Wyndam regularly overbooks and cancels RCI reservations first. Given that Port Townsend in February isn't a particularly great vacation destination, I suspect they were understaffed rather than overbooked. read more

We were here for three days. We have been to half dozen resorts over the last year and you can tell this one is an older one. Did not see any bugs as described by another yelp reviewer. We got the two bedroom loft and was pleasantly surprised how big it was. The washer and dryer (looked new) were full sized versus the smaller stacked ones. The yellow throw pillows downstairs need to be washed and the dinning table's chairs look like they need a good cleaning too. The two of the heating vent works which was the main floor and the bathroom in the loft where the twins bed was. We were cold in our room but the husband did not want to change room as we have been traveling quite far for two days before arriving there's The bath tub with jets looked brand new and the kids and I greatly enjoyed it. The husband tried to get the bbq grill to work but it didn't work and we didn't purse it since it was rainy, windy and cold why we were there. The guest service Amberdawn was able to allow us to stay in one place for the three days we were there since we had two different reservations due to last minute booking. Awesome view of the ocean, very serene and a quick walk to the dock. Would come back for the quietness, the jetted tub and space; it is not a five star resorts. I always enjoyed our interaction with the sale teams at the Wyndham resort; they don't have one here which was surprising. read more

Hard place to review. Looking at reviews, many are based on "coming here all my life", and the memories from the better days this property once saw. Views and beaches are great, but this is where the greatness ends. The pool is exactly as Sara in a previous review mentioned the clorine in the pool, but the clorine aroma extends to the workout area. It is nasty. The game room is not a place where you could enjoy a game of pool, with out smelling the pool. The property is beat up, screens on windows and sliding doors are bent allowing mosquitoes in. Windows also have stops so 2 inch max opening. All of the chairs and tables on the upper deck were partially finger painted with BBQ sauce and needed to be cleaned. Hair on most furniture. Dirty bathroom sink. Gross. All units face the water, you will get direct sun in the morning. read more

The only drawback I can see in this place, it there is 4 flights of stairs, so if thats a issue for you, I would book a special needs unit, which has less floors Im sure. The First floor in Unit 20 has the Master Bedroom(which does have a bathroom, and our unit had a jetted tub!), the 2nd floor is the living room, the 3rd floor is the bathroom and the 4th fourth had the 2 twin beds bedroom. Very nice unit, awesome views of the Bay! And God treated us to a nice rainbow! I can see however why this is a tough Worldmark to get into! If you can get into this resort GO FOR IT! The other drawback though, is that you will need to go to Sequim to get food- there is a Casino in between though called 7 Cedars Casino, which of course has a Restaurant and on the weekends a buffet. read more

Worst place I have ever visited. The indoor pool water is too warm and there is no ventilation at all. The chlorine vapors are unbearable and could potentially be toxic for your health. When I went to talk to the front desk the lady said there was no way they could open the windows or the door for proper ventilation. The reason behind it was the unhumidifier needs to be working at an enclosed space therefore the health risk is irrelevant. On the other hand there is always the lake with very cold water and has a terrible smell. Jetted tub iside unit was dirty and disgusting see pictures see for your self. read more

Spent all day traveling with our newborn baby and another couple. We were exciting to get away for a few days but extra holidays/Wyndham had different plans. We showed up right at 4pm for our check in time and the front desk said "oh, no one called you? Your reservation was cancelled.".. We were seriously in shock. Right after the front desk informed us, my wife got a email from extra holidays saying our reservation was cancelled. After being on hold for over 30 minutes in their lobby my wife bursted out in tears. Our baby had a full diaper, the kids were hungry, and we were all tired from driving all day. After a customer service rep finally answered our call all they said was "yes your reservation is cancelled and there's nothing we can do".. we got a full refund but we did not get reimbursed for our time/ferry/gas/groceries. For gods sake Starbucks will give me a free drink if we wait longer than 10 minutes. So disappointed we are just at a loss for words. read more

What can I say. I have been an owner of Trendwest, now Worldmark for over ten years. I have stayed at three resorts and this one was ok, not the best, not the worst. I will give ya some more details... The town house layout. Be warned, if you have bad knees or have issues with stairs...4 flights of 6 stairs. It wasnt too bad, other than when I would have to retrieve my 8 year old from her room. Narrow and tall. The washer was a new Kenmore (nice to see the investment of my quarterly maint. dues are going to good use) that was full size! YAY! Other resorts have the old school stacked smaller capacity. The pool; Yes, back to my 8 year old, she likes swimming and this had an indoor pool....smaller that I imagined, and my only gripe was the other owners being d-wads and not watching their spawn or ensuring that their spawn follow the rules. When they left, I let out a cheer. My unit did have creaks in the floor, and my husband noticed switch plates missing...eh. This is an older resort. The one issue I had with the pilot light going out on the fireplace due to a gust of wind going down the chimney, the maint. man was friendly, and told us of some dinosaur museum in nearby Sequim, that would be an interest to my 8 year old. I appreciated that. And, Tami at the front desk, she did call a lot, but it was to let us know the pool was open and follow up on the maint. man. That was ok in my book. As far as the other reviewer complaining about no tv in the second bedroom, the unit had two tv's in it. I have booked the penthouse in Oro Valley, AZ, only the master and the living room had TV's as well as Ocean Shores. A waste of money if there was a TV in every room. The resort is great. We stayed in the Accessible suite. Walk-in shower, Jacuzzi, 2 bathrooms, washer, dryer, etc. Do not waste money on their wifi. It only connects about 10% of the time, then a very weak signal. read more

Very nice place to stay. Right outside, looking from the balcony was a nice view of the ocean. The water was calm and if it were warmer I could've just walked right down and into the water. Stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath place. The rooms were of good size and the kitchen and living room were big and comfortable. My only gripes about this place was the rooms were a little dirty and dusty. Also there is no TV upstairs in the 2nd bedroom. I would stay here again though. read more

In October of 2012, my Darling Husband and myself planned a family reunion for my side of the family. We invited my younger brother, my younger brother's second wife, their toddler son, my mother, my mother's husband, and my Husband's daughter from his first marriage. We grilled steaks one afternoon on the Barbecue Grill out on the balcony. We booked one of the EZ Three Bedroom Suites because my mother's husband is disabled. Also, there was plenty of parking for all of our vehicles. Mostly, on the WorldMark side, things went very well. There is a Game Room and a Swimming Pool. And there is access for Guests to the Dock area. We have stayed at this WorldMark Discovery Bay before. I have friends and family that live in this Area. There were multiple Televisions in our Suite of rooms. There is a small Store located at the Check in for this WorldMark. If you are visiting the Olympic Peninsula we recommend booking with WorldMark Discovery Bay. There is a Kitchen in every Suite of rooms. read more

Spent Thanksgiving week here. Don't think we'll come back to this place. We had a great location with our condo looking out over Discovery Bay. The water came up to the back door. As far as pros, that's about all this place had going for it. Upon arrival, and a 10+ hour drive from Boise, the upstairs toilet was found to be clogged. Really? Did they not clean the toilet? That particular bathroom was dirty, too, so that probably answers my question. The layout of our condo was extremely awkward. Split entry with the the master downstairs and the main living area upstairs. One flight up from the main level was a bathroom (with clogged toilet) then one more flight up to a landing with a sleeper sofa and the 2nd bedroom. We were told we could sleep multiple groups in the condo with the two sleeper sofas (other one on the main level), but they didn't tell us about the awkward layout with zero privacy. That and the sofa mattresses were so thin and old that we had to double them up. Even doing that, all of the bars and springs from the frame poked up through them. Miserable. The WiFi was non-existent. Painfully slow and went off and on so many times that I gave up and went back to LTE. There were hardly any other people in the other condos to put a load on it, too. To top things off, the area received record rainfall the week we were there. That caused water to leak out of the fireplace onto the floor. On the plus side, other than the great location, the staff here were super cool and accommodating. The beds in the bedrooms were ok and not super uncomfortable. We didn't try the pool and rec room due to the reviews. Like I said, we probably won't be returning here. If you do stay here, make sure you like climbing stairs. read more

It was time for an escape and I couldn't find a place far enough away from everyone. I've gone to one other site on my family's time share and it was nice, but nothing special and I wasn't looking forward to this trip. I picked this spot for the weather, the relative remoteness, and the hope that I could get some quiet to recuperate after a very long year. This was the spot. I drove 14 hours to get there, pulled in around 8pm, unloaded the car, crashed. Next morning though, I wake up to this view. It'll be one of the views I take with me to heaven. Mist on the trees, sea birds, a boat trawling out in the distance. Another day I woke up to these awesome kids having the time of their lives spotting crabs and sea stars from the dock. There's National rain forests for hiking, small towns with honest, earnest restaurants. Excellent Pho house in Port Townsend. There's a ferry to Vancouver, of course, but I didn't have time. I never got around to local fish and chips, but the front desk staff will tell you where all the good spots are. They're so nice, patient, and knowledgeable. Walking search engines with the human touch. The hand-made Trump signs nailed to trees along the freeway were a little creepy, but you should keep your eyes on the road anyway! There's a serenity that's rare and precious up here. If beach resorts aren't your thing, give this spot a think. read more

My family stayed here on a recent trip through Washington and family, including myself, was impressed. I was just along for the ride, so I wasn't with expectations going into the townhouse type accommodations. The pluses: Right on Discovery Bay with balconies off the master bedroom and the main living space. Very clean Had most everything one might need for a short or long stay, including a full kitchen with all appliances and basic kitchenware/serving utensils. Parking for 2 vehicles directly outside your townhouse Beautifully decorated interior - comfortable furniture, lovely prints and medium warm-toned wood tables and kitchen cabinets. plenty of room for 6 people, 8 may have been pushing it. gorgeous, very large master bedroom space with sunken jet tub large 2nd bedroom master bedroom and 2nd bedroom separated by 2 floors The downsides: For those who have issues with stairs, the particular townhouse we stayed in had a set of 4 stairs. The entry is an immediate split level - if you go down, you reach the master bedroom and if you go up, you reach the main level with the dining, living and kitchen space. Off the living space is another set of stairs up that leads to a large bathroom off the stair landing (with a nice skylite I might add). Then lastly off the landing is the last set of stairs up leading to the 2nd bedroom. The layout for the whole townhouse was slightly awkward, but coming from an architectural background and understanding the restrictions on the land in which they built (and therefore wanting to maximize the number of townhomes), I understand why they designed the homes the way they did. It was totally fine for my family, but I could see difficulties for anyone having issues with stairs. I have no idea if all layouts are the same. My twin bed seemed a little unstable, so I difficulty really sleeping heavily without fear of falling off! I would DEFINITELY stay here again if I ever found myself in the area. I wish we had had time to kayak or explore the bay in others way, i.e., hiking, but our time was consumed with a family reunion. read more

We book Friday and Saturday . When we arrived they didn't have our reservation. Well we mistakingly booked Saturday thru Sunday. We left Portland which is a 4 hours drive. Did I mention we were traveling with our 2 year old granddaughter and we arrived a 10 pm. Well short story there were no rooms available, but this resort has one unit that is owned by the actual land owner that Worldmark purchased from to build this resort. They called them and got permission for us to stay. We are very grateful for the over and above effort by the resort staff. Thank you read more

Great area, great front desk associates. But oh my God, this is the second time we stayed here and it's just kind of scuzzy! We took our kids for a weekend away with plans on swimming, watching movies and cooking dinner in between excursions. Rooms are set up nice but the more I settled in, the more I noticed the dirt. Our bathroom was disgusting, I took a wipe to the counters and the fixtures, the wipe was brown when I was done. The tub jets were stained with red scum. The rooms are like that throughout, lamps needed to be dusted, sheets had black hairballs in them (I have blonde hair and my husband is bald). I think that maybe once every couple months, they should do a really thorough clean. The pool was fun, but the bottom was stained brown. I help run apartment complexes and we would never let our pool get like that. Definitely does not match up to other Worldmarks. read more

Great views, units have a few set of stairs as it's on three levels. Stayed one night on our way to catch the ferry to Victoria.

They treat their staff like garbage. Everyone is dispensable, high turnover, poor management. Cockroaches found in the dishwasher.

This place was amazing. The view was unbelievable and the condo was so unreal. It was so nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place at Worldmark in Discovery bay, Washington. read more
