I found myself having some time and wanted to try a German coffee house. I was surprised to see that such a place existed in Hattiesburg and that they had a cute little area to study and hangout in. Getting there, I was met with the owner whom is originally from Germany. He taught me many things about coffee and the menu that he has. He lets you smell the coffee and everything. It was a wonderful experience. I tried the spiced Mexican latte and loved it. The cup was huge but I finished it quickly. It was also afternoon and I was struggling. The ambiance is like a mix with LED lights, couches, tables and chairs, and plants and dog things. Imagine if your friend opened up a coffee shop, it feels kind of like that. I think this coffee shop would be my go to in Hattiesburg. How can you beat such great company and great coffee! P.S. I did not get the pretzel, and I regret it. They source their organic beans from small sustainable farms in Central America with whom they have built relationships with. They also make delicious chocolate bars and truffles from the cacao beans purchased in these same areas. We enjoyed our coffees and purchased some special chocolates to enjoy along the trip home. It is a little shack in the parking lot with a Michaels, and there are drive-thru entrances on both sides of the shack. We paid maybe $13.50 for a medium hot Cinnamon Delight and a large iced Salted Caramel Cheesecake coffee with oat milk. The menu says the Salted Caramel Cheesecake drink won some prize for being the "Best Specialty Drink"-- and I would agree. It wasn't too sweet, wasn't too milky, but wasn't bitter or watery. The other specialty drinks look like they will be great to try as well. The cashier was friendly and got me signed up for the loyalty program too! I am so elated about this find--I LOVED it, 5/5. I am a pretty picky coffee drinker and usually only go to Starbucks. I was tired of paying so much money there, so I decided to give Java Moe's a shot. Not only was my coffee really affordable (about $4-5 for a medium and $6 for a large) but it tastes like HIGH QUALITY coffee! I still like my occasional Starbucks, but I definitely come here a few times a week before work. Sometimes the line can be pretty long and take a minute, so hopefully you're patient! After all, it's a tiny little shack with a drive-thru on both sides. I've tried a few different flavors of their iced coffees, and they're all really good! I don't have a favorite yet, but I haven't been disappointed yet. They told me their most popular iced coffees are the Turtle, Caramel, and White Chocolate. I've also tried their foods, and that's the only thing I wouldn't recommend. Just get coffee here.
