First time! My fiancé and I just recently moved to Hub City and something that is on our list of things to do is find the great coffee shops as we are both former baristas. Mulvi's is super cute and reminds me of my former workplace back in Starkville, complete with upstairs seating. We enjoyed some scones and lattes, the Brown Sugar and Blondie. Both delicious! I'm so glad this place opened up here in hattiesburg! The couple that owns it is so sweet, and they really know their coffee. It's a great environment to study in since there's an upstairs space too! I would highly recommend any of the lattes or the watermelon mint refresher. read more

I went to try Mulvi's around 1:30 on 11/13 and the staff was not friendly at all. There were no smiles, no welcome-ins, I didn't even get to finish my order before the person taking it walked away. The coffee itself was decent, one of the lids must have been cracked because coffees spilt in the car. It was an uncomfortable experience and I wouldn't recommend it. read more

What can I say...talk about a perfect coffee shop. The drinks are made so well, I genuinely don't think I've had better coffee in Mississippi. The pastries are tasty, there's plenty of non-dairy options as well. The building is two stories so you can find a quiet spot to study or talk, with plenty of windows that make it feel like the most cozy space. All of the employees are so kind and helpful, especially the owners! Great people doing great things. read more

I've frequented this quaint coffee shop a few times over the last few months and there coffee has always been good. But on this very Tuesday, it was exceptional. I'm not sure what brand of magical sunshine dust they're adding to their magnificent creations, but there should be a warning label: May cause one to take a step back and ponder in awe upon first sip. read more

I think this coffee shop would be my go to in Hattiesburg. How can you beat such great company and great coffee! P.S. I did not get the pretzel, and I regret it. The food seems good, and there's beer here too!

I hate to say this but this was by far the worst coffee we've ever had. Pot coffee from a hotel…read moretrumps this coffee tenfold. Place looks unfinished on the inside and dirty. No real style or cohesiveness to the decor. Unwelcoming atmosphere and irritated look on baristas face. If you enjoy actual coffee and not sugar drinks, this likely will not be a spot you'd ever want to go.

Coffee Time and Wraps *…read moreIf you were in Ellisville, stop in to The Coffeehouse and pick up some goodies. Recently launched wraps are a must. Was able to pick what type of wrap I wanted and about six or eight different types. I went with the Southwest, which was loaded with beans, corn, lettuce, spicy ranch. Ashli and her staff are very helpful and attentive. I also grabbed an iced latte with oat milk to finish out my afternoon meal. The entire place is tastefully, decorated, and lots of boutique items for purchase as well. Next time I'm in the area. I will definitely be stopping in for lunch and a coffee pick me up!
