Sewage started coming up through the floor drains in my basement this morning, so so I called 7-11 Plumbing. Within one hour I had 2 gentlemen at my door, both dressed in lettered shirts, both ready to work. They said my main line was backed up and that I needed rodding, and that tree roots were most likely the issue... We discussed price, then I gave them the ok to get started. Sure enough, after they worked for 15-20 minutes at it, they came back with a bunch of nasty roots on the end of their machine, and the water went down. They then rodded all the way to the street one more time just to make sure it was clear. They recommended me to have my main line rodded once a year, just as a maintenance, and I think I will....that was just nasty... They were very professional, courteous, punctual, and affordable. After two other plumbers were unable to get rid of a sewer funk in our basement, we called 7-11 for a smoke test. Andrew recommended an additional inspection, and after running a camera, he was able to spot the problem without a smoke test. He and his team replaced a cracked drainpipe under the basement floor - it was a BIG project that warranted jackhammering the concrete floor, digging under the house (inside and out), and then putting everything back, all over the course of three days. These guys did a great job...they took a lot of care to keep the rest of the basement as clean as possible while they were working, and now everything works and looks (and smells) great! These are some of the youngest plumbers around: but don't let that fool you. They have sound knowledge, they are down to earth, they are driven, and they are hungry to establish themselves. We hired Andrew and Jon to do some pretty extensive work in the basement: relocating an old concrete (3 chambered) utility sink, installing a new laundry sink, extending a gas line, new PVC drain lines, new cooper lines for the tubs as well as the kitchen right above it, installing a new home filtration system, etc....these guys did an outstanding job and they are obsessed with perfection. My wife, who is a stickler, was VERY impressed by how professional, kind, and courteous they are. Old school work ethics and mentality are things we don't see in today's generation, and these guys can give lessons on it. On top of it, they are VERY reasonable!!!! Call them, they do large to small jobs, planned projects to emergency ones...and they play good music while they work. Andrew and Lloyd came to my house on a Saturday afternoon under the impression they were removing just a few rocks. The were mislead by the lead contractor who hired them. The job was much, much bigger then described to them. Instead of walking away these guys delivered big for us. They spent hours Saturday and Sunday removing concrete from a demo job so that a landscaper could finish the job Mon/Tue. We agreed on the scope of work and these guys delivered and did exactly what we asked for and needed. My landlord hired 7-11 Plumbing to come out to my apartment after water began backing up into my tub when the sinks in my bathroom and kitchen drained or my toilet flushed (nasty right!). Two gentlemen came out to my apartment ( I didn't get their names), and began working on the problem which turned out to be more extensive than just a clogged drained. The sump pump for our building was actually backing up. They stayed for almost three hours until the job was done and even gave my bathroom a rudimentary clean-up. Our business had a big problem with the water coming up with foul smell as well as urine and feces! Andrew and Jon came and immediately checked the pump and sewer in the bathroom and told me what was wrong. They were also nice enough to make sure the problem was not an outlet or something of that sort so that I wouldn't have to pay for a new pump. But unfortunately our business did need a new installation and pump. The guys did not have a pump at the office but were able to drive to Berwyn and pick one up to immediately fix the problem for us that same day! These guys are really down to earth and know exactly what they are doing. I guarantee that you won't regret calling them! The faucet in my guest bathroom needed replacing... I was on a tight schedule because I had guests showing up in 2 days. So I really needed someone who could come out ASAP. After calling a few plumbers with no response, I called 7-11. Andrew called me back right away and said they could come out the same day! Andrew and Jon showed up on time and got right to work. They were extremely polite and professional and went over everything with me. After they left, I noticed that the gasket under the faucet was a little exposed. I called them the very next day and they were back to my home in a few hours. it turned out that it was a design flaw with the particular faucet I had purchased. Trying to get a plumber today so i called the referral line. John from 7-11 plumbers called and gave us a rough estimate and said he would try to come around 1 pm. It went on and on time- wise and he never took the address. Just kept blowing us off keeping us home waiting for him to call back to arrange the service call. I never saw such terrible service. He never called to say he was coming although he promised varied times all day long. Dont get why he ever called in the first place with the referral if he couldn't oblige. Thanks JOHN your company and you are awful. You wasted a whole day for us when we were willing to pay your inflated rate for service.
