67 Biltmore catered a large event that I attended at New Belgium Brewing last weekend. Their food was definitely healthy and tasty, but I do wish they had had a bit more offerings in the way of meats. The entire appetizer round was vegan or vegetarian - caprese skewers, strawberry puffs, antipasto (peppers and cheese). While satisfying flavor-wise, I wish maybe a pigs in the blanket or something with a meat feature had been available. Their salad was a fresh mixed green (primarily spinach and arugula?) with a balsamic dressing option and some shredded parmesan cheese. The entree was a prosciutto and cheese stuffed pork tenderloin (they did have a stuffed bell pepper vegetarian option). I really enjoyed - it was moist, flavorful, and deliciously seasoned. Overall, I think this was a solid catering pick and I would be happy to try some of their other options in the field. We ordered a Thanksgiving meal for our office from Biltmore 67, and the entire office was so happy with it. They usually provide heating instructions, as most people take the meal home to serve on Thanksgiving. Since we were eating on Tuesday, they offered to have it hot and ready for us when we picked it up, which was so kind. Most importantly, the food was just amazing. Everything was just delicious, along with maybe some of my favorite stuffing I have ever had. The manager already wants to put in an order for next year. First, Becky and her crew at 67 Biltmore can create a varied and delicious Spanish tapas buffet for the feast table. My partner and 30+ guests enjoyed the curated menu served at her son's rehearsal party held at the Reverie event space on Lexington. A few of the offerings included an unique chicken salad slider which I had several of. It is my new favorite chicken salad taste. Many of our guests (including myself) were amazed at the puff pastry filled with ceasar salad. A hand-held one bite salad. There were also lamb sliders, shrimp, chicken, blistered shishito peppers with chorizos and other savory offerings. Becky and Abbey (Reverie) work well together. Prior to finalizing the buffet, we visited 67 Biltmore. If I was staying downtown or even passing through, I would certainly consider stopping by for a bite or grab a prepared take-out from the mouth-watering display case. read more

Super easy to pick up sandwiches before our hike/visit to Craggy Gardens and Mount Mitchell. There is complimentary parking in a few spots to the side of the restaurant. We ordered 1/2 sandwiches (Tuscan and Dijon Chicken Salad). We were in/out in less than 10 minutes. The sandwiches help up well after a few hours which was a major plus. read more

Sausage gravy biscuit and grits are my go to breakfast diner food. This isn't a diner so I expected a different spin on the food. The sausage biscuit was different from what I'm used to, but it was very good! The biscuits were crunchy and more English muffin- esque. It was an interesting take on what I'm used to and I enjoyed it. However they didn't have grits which was a super bummer to me so I got their "home fries" instead and they were perfectly cooked potatoes with cheese. I ordered my Thanksgiving feast from 67 Biltmore and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The food was superb and the service was excellent. The restaurant communicated every step of the way and answered any questions in a very timely fashion. They indicated that picking up might be tricky and suggested that I have an extra person to help. It turned out that parking was not an issue, but it was still nice to have someone with me. I ordered the sliced turkey breast, which was moist and flavorful, the gravy, which I must admit I didn't try, the delicious stuffing, the yummy cranberry sauce, excellent mashed potatoes, and the macaroni and cheese. The Mac and cheese was our least favorite item, although it was fine, just nothing special. Reheating instructions were included and were very clear. also ordered the caramelized onion dip, but forgot to buy chips, so we will eat it during the week. I love this place! They serve prepared food to grab and take home for the fam. They have a beautiful and varied array of sides and proteins in the case. They make everything in house. it is fresh and tasty They also offer made to order sandwiches. I had the basic turkey sandwich with Havarti on Annie's bread and Lusty Monk mustard. It was exceptional. Very filling and came with chips and a pickle. A few other favorites are the beet citrus salad, it is SO refreshing! The sweet potato salad is a must try as well. Hearty and flavor packed. I must say that our greatest love and indulgence is the beautiful, smooth, silky, not to sweet, not too tart, just perfect in every way = Key Lime Pie! I could eat a whole pie in one sitting, (I won't but I could) Don't miss this delight! Meringue cookies are so fun to eat as well. Light, airy, crumbly with a little surprise of walnut and/or chocolate chip within. YUM! Service is welcoming, offers smiles and very helpful. Parking can be tricky, they do have a small lot on the left side of the building and if you're lucky there might be a spot. It is worth seeking out though. This seems like a great spot for a quick deli-style lunch downtown. The chipotle sandwich was large and delicious, the citrus corn was flavorful, and the pasta salad was great. The shrimp salad had much more mayo than I would have cared for. I like how big the dining area is. There's a spot for kids, lots of seating, and big tables. The cranberry chutney wasn't my favorite but that easily could be because the flavor profile isn't my preference. 67 Biltmore is my favorite place in town for catering. They have a brick and mortar location downtown Asheville which is beautiful and has a great menu but really, their catering is A+! They cater the lunches at my work regularly and every single meal is fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious. They really have a knack for creating food with rich, complex flavors while creating a healthy meal that truly satisfies hunger and is nourishing. Some of my favorite things that they make are the pesto chicken salad, their sweet potato salad, the kale salad (definitely my favorite!), white bean and arugula salad and sesame peanut pasta salad. They also offer cheese and meat platters, slaws, potato salads, bean salads, fruit bowls and wraps. Emily and Adam are so awesome and all of the other staff that I've had interactions with have been really friendly as well. Grab and go delicious I feel like this place is very underrated for their breakfast. They have a tiny breakfast menu that is easy to pass up with Asheville's epic brunch scene. But each item on the menu is perfectly executed and the place has plenty of tables. Even better it usually doesn't have a wait. My go to is the chorizo hash which is not greasy and the potatoes are cooked just right. I always add the farm fresh egg, poached cause that's what I like. The kitchen knows how to poach an egg. Everytime I've ordered it the white is cooked enveloping a runny, sunny yolk. My other go to breakfast menu pick is The Other French Toast. This is a toasted baguette with jam and melted brie. Heaven.. cheesy toasty heaven. It pairs nicely with their coffee which is strong and one of my boyfriends favorite drip styles in town. I've not tried their dinner take out. Stopped in for a quick lunch...in and out in under 30 minutes! My wife and I split the Pastrami Sandwich daily special and it was the best I've had in my entire life! Beyond the amazing sandwich...my wife ordered a cup(served in a coffee mug) of the smoked chicken soup. The meat was perfectly smoked and was so plentiful we both were thoroughly impressed. I've had soup from other establishments in town featuring "smoked meat" that were so overpowering they ended up be inedible...that was not the case here and I want to thank the awesome culinary team rocking out delicious food so quickly! This business provided an unexpected surprise. I was in town with family housed between two different rental properties (abnb) and we wanted to do dinner together for 9 people without the hassle of restaurant reservations, noise, food choices, etc. As an event planner in DC, I took the reins and after some brief research on catering options, I came across 67 Biltmore. The reviews were good and so were the selections so I went with my instincts to place an order. Jo is who I worked with via email after a couple short conversations. She was so nice and very helpful as she knew the food and what would work best to meet my needs. Biggest bonus is the cost was just right. Very reasonable and all the food came packed well with instructions for reheating. In the end, the food was GREAT! Very delicious, and plenty of it! We are spreading the word to our friends in asheville and look forward to ordering in the future. Wish I could spread the word better but Asheville is not my home base- just an annual visiting site. Nice little place for a healthy bite. Super friendly staff (they even gave us garbage bags to use to cover ourselves from the rain). Beautiful, light-filled space with wooden tables and old hardwood floors. Friendly, helpful staff. Order at the front, and by the time you're halfway through your coffee, your breakfast arrives. We went there two days in a row because we were so impressed with the feel of the place and the quality of the food. One day I had the Mexican hash; the next I had a ham and cheese and egg and spinach sandwich (Hammy Sammy?). Most (if not all) plates come with properly fresh fruit. You can just tell that this is a business where the owners and employees all genuinely seem to care about ingredients and about food that is tasty and not pretentious. Catered Affair in their Back Room The staff at 67 Biltmore was extremely helpful as I organized my son's rehearsal dinner from halfway across the country. I'd never been in the restaurant but had glowing reviews of their catering from the residents of my mother's condo association, which regularly has 67 Biltmore cater their functions. The residents were spot on! The food was sensational. The service was friendly and professional. But let me start at the beginning.... We arranged to have the event in their back room after the restaurant closed on a Friday evening in October.They set up the dining tables in the back and the bar and buffet were set up more towards the front. They even let us hold our small wedding rehearsal (only 8 in the wedding party) in the very front while guests mingled and drank wine and beer. Perfect! The tables were set for our 30 guests in the back and it was cozy and pretty. We brought in flowers for the tables and window niches and lots of votive candles. With rented linens and glassware (very reasonably priced), the staff at 67 Biltmore set the tables beautifully. With the wood floors and soft lighting, it was a pretty setting. Now for the food.... wow! We started off with several appetizers - a tray of local artisan cheeses, puff pastry bites and bbq shrimp on polenta cakes - incredible flavors! Peppercorn beef, cider roasted chicken, and stuffed portabella mushrooms were our entrees and we also offered several salads, vegetables, potatoes and biscuits as sides. All delicious!! Everyone was stuffed but still managed to find room for the homey, warm apple cobbler and whipped cream. We were able to bring in our own wine and beer to offer our guests and 67 Biltmore provided the bartender. He was as helpful and friendly as the rest of the staff. When we returned the next day to settle up, my husband and I had a snack of pork taquitos with a guacamole dip. Such amazing flavors that we bought out the rest of them from the case and took them with us! We were a large group (14 people) celebrating my dad's 90th birthday and wanted to eat at the large house we rented. 67 Biltmore was perfect. Emily was easy to work with and accommodated a vegetarian, non-dairy eater and a couple of very picky eaters too. Everything was delicious and easy to re-heat. The week prior, I spoke with the owner/manager who expressed concern about the quantity of food I was ordering from her despite not knowing how much food was being provided outside of 67Biltmore. The crab cakes were breading only. The fried chicken was excellent. Sides were good. Most disappointing was the lack of any communication after the event. I would not hire again. read more

Recently we we're staying downtown for a short trip. Found this delightful stop for breakfast and tried a breakfast sandwich and oatmeal bowl. Delicious! Quality sandwich made from scratch.
