What a professional, friendly, and fantastic place to get a pedicure and manicure spa treatment located on 64 Central Park West. This full service spa also provides additional services such eyelash extensions as well. The ambiance is super relaxing while serene music plays in the background. The massage chairs were very comfortable with the right intensity. Easy to set the timer and relax. They even have a sign that says please reframe from phone conversations during treatments with respect to other patrons. The staff has polite conversations with you but not long extensive conversation if are looking for some quiet time to yourself. Modern decor with a wide array of nail polish selections. This spa location had a variety of polish colors to select from between OPI, Essie and other brands. This place is extremely clean as they use disposable spa tray inserts during pedicures. This is the going above and beyond in my mind to keep the pedicures area clean. The restrooms were in clean condition as well. The tools all were wrapped individually. The staff are all super friendly and love taking care of their customers. They even offered us a variety of pedicure spas from Green Tea, Silky Milk, and Lavenders, and standard pedicures to select from. The staff wore gloves during the pedicure process. The 15 minute foot massage was just the right amount of pressure and extremely relaxing. The staff was polite and did a great job on the pedicures and manicures. The staff made us feel so welcomed and they were super happy to take care of my daughter, friend and I during our treatments. The chair massage with even as delightful as the pedicures. The masseuse applied the right amount of pressure which helped reduce the knots in my back and neck. I highly recommend this massage services. Overall, this place is hands down one of the best nail and spa places I have been to in a long time. From the pedicure spa to the chair massages. I highly recommend 64 Nail Spa for adults and kids. If you come on a Saturday try to get there between 10:00am - 11:00am minimal waiting times. I came here due to the reviews on Yelp and let me just say they did a REALLY GOOD JOB! they even have a masseuse loitering in the mani section. I've never seen that before and decided to give it try. Great costumer service. It gets really busy due to the location just an FYI Also, it's pretty expensive!!!! I don't know what people normally pay for gel hands and a pedicure out in NYC but my GEL+PEDI came out to $100 plus an extra $15 for a 10 minute back/neck massage = $115 TOTAL. I came in here expecting to pay more than what I normally pay in LA which is ($50) So I wasn't surprised when I saw my subtotal. Again, they did an amazing job so I'm not complaining. I walked in right before rush hour so be aware that it gets pretty busy. people come in every 5 minutes but they still took their time so I appreciate that. The salon is always clean & it's a soothing environment. I have been here several times, last time was a disaster. The new employee was so rough, I just wanted the manicure to be over within the first five minutes. Came in on a Sunday because I was in the neighborhood and in desperate need of a mani/pedi. The good: - a lot of color options, more than most places - the lady (Eugene) who did my mani/pedi, and eyebrows was really friendly. The bad: - wasn't super clean -- the tools were sterilized but the establishment itself could use a deep clean and some touch ups - pretty tiny place with way too many tables and chairs, it felt crowded The ugly: - OVERPRICED, a 10 minute chair massage was $16 + tip, about 40% more than most other places - the owner seemed to be treating her staff terribly, she was rude and I could tell she made them nervous.. it was uncomfortable to watch - I had semi-wet nails and was trying to put my sandals back on without messing up the polish. I tried their pedicure, manicure and massage many times and I have never been disappointed. The staff members are very friendly, professional, warm and welcoming. Love this place! I've been coming here for the last 2 months and have finally found my nail spot! Eva does my nails each time, and she's awesome! Very sweet and a pleasure to spend the time with. I've done regular pedicures, manicures, gel manicures and even just nail polish changes. I'm booking a Bourbon chocolate spa pedicure for my next visit - will update :) As for the nail salon, it's very clean and relaxing. I want to get a massage at some point as I see the masseuse gets a lot of customers. The manager is very kind and constantly making sure everyone is comfortable, asking if they want something to drink, etc. Feel very welcomed, and love the professionalism. All the other nail techs seem happy to work here - which truly makes a difference for me. I feel uncomfortable getting my nails done in places where people seem very unhappy/disgruntled. The salon is very clean and staff do not rush customers. Immediately as I came in, one of the staff members took my coat and hung it up for me. That was my first time in this salon and I loved it! I walked in in the middle of the day and got seated right away. I did manicure with gel polish and pedicure with regular, also asked to make a special design on both feet and hands. Apparently, there's only one master Maria who does designs, and I got lucky to have her! She's done beautiful job and I hope this manicure will last a long time! The staff are very, very nice and the place is extremely clean. I particularly like the plastic lining that they place in the tub for your feet during pedicures. However, they are very expensive, like 76 for a spa pedicure. For this cost I would expect to be in a more fancy salon. Also, while the usually do a very good job if there is a problem before they would fix it- it has been more difficult for them to do that as of late. My boyfriend and I got mani-pedis here for our anniversary celebration and, as it was our first time at 64 Nail Spa, we will definitely be back. I felt very comfortable as they had taken our temperatures before entering the salon and had both of us wash our hands before touching anything. I had wanted from the beginning to get the popular "jelly nails" which is a little difficult given that they must be slightly transparent. Whom I believe was the owner was kind enough to take the time to test multiple colors to find the right shade for my rose tinted transparent gel nails and I couldn't be happier with the result! Leticia was my nail technician and from start to finish she was very attentive to detail and handled both my hands and feet carefully as she wiped away even minor inaccuracies. Checked out this spot that is a bit farther away than my usual salon, but I haven't been as happy with my usual so I wanted to try something new. The staff was welcoming and inviting. I really appreciated that when I picked out a polish, I was told that it would be an extra $5 because it is a long-lasting polish. When I explained that I just wanted a basic, black polish, they took the time to find the polish for me. The pedicure itself was straight foward - nothing super fancy, but relaxing and well done. Really enjoyed my experience at 64 Nail Spa - I went before seeing Oslo at Lincoln Center; it was the perfect way to kill some time before a show. Super clean place with nice workers. Prefer cash for tips (no signage); they let me tip on my card. I treated myself to the green tea pedicure ($65); I'm a runner so my feet were not in the best shape and it's now sandals weather. The girl I had was great - she really took her time; I arrived around 530 and didn't leave until 645. Their regular pedicures are $35, which I'd get in the future because it covered all of the basics you want in a pedi. It was busy in there; not sure if they do appointments but that could a good option. Will be back if I ever need a nice pedicure before a show. read more

The experience is nice for the most part, if you have to do this nail salon I recommend seeing Rita, she's great! I initially had another girl do it who was rushing and blatantly rude during the whole experience. She even cut my cuticle to the point where it started bleeding! I asked for someone else and told her I was unsatisfied with her service and she got upset and blamed me for asking for her to cut my nails properly. I've been to this nail salon before so I went last night to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure after a stressful weekend moving. The manicure, pedicure, and extra foot massage I received were nicely done, but i was deceived at the end and for that this place gets 1 star. When it came time to pay, the price was significantly higher than I expected. It turns out the massage was extremely over priced, but that's fine, I asked for it. My bigger issue was I was charged $5 each for my manicure and pedicure for getting the Essie long wear polish. There was no sign stating this extra price NOR was I informed of this by my nail technician, which I found to be shady. When I brought up that the price was higher than I thought and that I had not been told about the price for the long wear polish, a woman I assume to be the owner started arguing with multiple technicians about whether I was charged correctly. She changed the price on me a few times, offered to refund, then ultimately told me I had been charged correctly. This was in front of the rest of the salon, where she easily could have pulled me aside to discuss. It was awkward for one, but also made me feel like I was not correctly charged. I ultimately ended up just leaving. I feel like this place is deceitful on pricing and rude. I have been to nail salons all over the city and am always told up front if a salon charges extra for the long wear polish (which not all do). If you like to have a relaxing experience, I suggest you skip this spot. I know I will never go back, which is a shame since I just moved into the area and was looking for a place for my weekly manicure. read more
