I've been meaning to leave a rave review for this nail salon for a while. I've been coming here for about 6 months for gel manicures and Alma is amazing. (Though I'm sure all of the staff does amazing work.) My nails are quite literally perfect when I leave and the price is reasonable! read more

Got my nails done here last month and loved them, so I went back. Unfortunately, this time the top layer of my manicure started peeling after about 1 hour of getting back home (And I got an SNS manicure so that should not happen). To their credit, they redid the top layer for free when I went back but it's definitely worth paying attention and asking for another layer if you think it's too fragile. read more

What a professional, friendly, and fantastic place to get a pedicure and manicure spa treatment located on 64 Central Park West. This full service spa also provides additional services such eyelash extensions as well. The ambiance is super relaxing while serene music plays in the background. The massage chairs were very comfortable with the right intensity. Easy to set the timer and relax. They even have a sign that says please reframe from phone conversations during treatments with respect to other patrons. The staff has polite conversations with you but not long extensive conversation if are looking for some quiet time to yourself. Modern decor with a wide array of nail polish selections. This spa location had a variety of polish colors to select from between OPI, Essie and other brands. This place is extremely clean as they use disposable spa tray inserts during pedicures. This is the going above and beyond in my mind to keep the pedicures area clean. The restrooms were in clean condition as well. The tools all were wrapped individually. The staff are all super friendly and love taking care of their customers. They even offered us a variety of pedicure spas from Green Tea, Silky Milk, and Lavenders, and standard pedicures to select from. The staff wore gloves during the pedicure process. The 15 minute foot massage was just the right amount of pressure and extremely relaxing. The staff was polite and did a great job on the pedicures and manicures. The staff made us feel so welcomed and they were super happy to take care of my daughter, friend and I during our treatments. The chair massage with even as delightful as the pedicures. The masseuse applied the right amount of pressure which helped reduce the knots in my back and neck. I highly recommend this massage services. Overall, this place is hands down one of the best nail and spa places I have been to in a long time. From the pedicure spa to the chair massages. I highly recommend 64 Nail Spa for adults and kids. If you come on a Saturday try to get there between 10:00am - 11:00am minimal waiting times. The owner Helen will welcome you with a big and friendly smile as always and remembers you if you are from out of town or a local veteran. They know how to pamper and make anyone of any age feel relaxed and welcoming at this place. Check out their website @ 64nailspa.com. read more

I came to the reviews because I was worried they ripped me off, but feel better now that I see the other reviews stating prices. I'd never paid almost $130 for a gel mani and gel pedi but in my opinion it was worth every penny!! It's one of the best mani and pedis I've ever gotten. Now the test is to see if it will last. read more

64 Nail Spa - 17 days after my initial review. Not too shabby. - Nail Salons Near Me - New York, New York

Wonderful place! It's not luxurious inside, but they do a really good job, the polish lasts, they give great back massages, and the chairs clients sit in while getting pedicures are divinely comfortable and provide tailored massages with many options! This will certainly become my go-to place for mani-pedis. read more

I'm from LA and needed to freshen up my Gel manicure and pedicure. I came here due to the reviews on Yelp and let me just say they did a REALLY GOOD JOB! they even have a masseuse loitering in the mani section. I've never seen that before and decided to give it try. Great costumer service. It gets really busy due to the location just an FYI Also, it's pretty expensive!!!! I don't know what people normally pay for gel hands and a pedicure out in NYC but my GEL+PEDI came out to $100 plus an extra $15 for a 10 minute back/neck massage = $115 TOTAL. I came in here expecting to pay more than what I normally pay in LA which is ($50) So I wasn't surprised when I saw my subtotal. Again, they did an amazing job so I'm not complaining. I walked in right before rush hour so be aware that it gets pretty busy. people come in every 5 minutes but they still took their time so I appreciate that. WALK-Ins are welcomed EVA - did my gel hands and pedicure if she ever reads this. THANK YOU! Hope to see you next time I'm in NYC. I've posted pictures of my end results. Hope this helps. read more

Still ADORE this nail salon more than a year later! The technicians are always personable & detail-oriented whether you want something classic or a little funky. The salon is always clean & it's a soothing environment. Plus, they now have even more polish options like Chanel's Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour, and Smith and Cult Nailed Laquer from the creators of Hard Candy. But my personal favorite is a new brand they have called Zoya which is long wearing, breathable, & better yet, toxin free! In a city where there are tons of nail salon, I walk 9 blocks past all the others just to go here. read more

64 Nail Spa was such a pleasant surprise! I went for a powder mani, regular pedi + 10 min back massage and was very happy with the results. Came here after seeing good reviews for manicure and pedicure on a Tuesday before my wedding that Sunday. Did SNS powder manicure told it should Last 4 weeks. It started chipping 4 days later, the day before my wedding . By one week after my wedding (less than 2 weeks after the manicure), nails had fully chipped in half. Waste of time, money and added stress before my wedding . Won't be coming back here read more

I have been here several times, last time was a disaster. The new employee was so rough, I just wanted the manicure to be over within the first five minutes. She buffed my nails along with my skin and created hang nails where there were none before. I paid 53$ for a gel manicure, not including tip and three days later my gel was peeling off. read more

Came in on a Sunday because I was in the neighborhood and in desperate need of a mani/pedi. The good: - a lot of color options, more than most places - the lady (Eugene) who did my mani/pedi, and eyebrows was really friendly. The bad: - wasn't super clean -- the tools were sterilized but the establishment itself could use a deep clean and some touch ups - pretty tiny place with way too many tables and chairs, it felt crowded The ugly: - OVERPRICED, a 10 minute chair massage was $16 + tip, about 40% more than most other places - the owner seemed to be treating her staff terribly, she was rude and I could tell she made them nervous.. it was uncomfortable to watch - I had semi-wet nails and was trying to put my sandals back on without messing up the polish. The owner just stared at me Def don't need to come back here. read more

The cleanest and coziest spa I've been to in the city with great customer service from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. I tried their pedicure, manicure and massage many times and I have never been disappointed. The staff members are very friendly, professional, warm and welcoming. Especially, I enjoyed massage very much. I was quite tense and muscles needed to be massaged deeply. Jane was my masseuse and she did an awesome job. From the second she started the massage till the end of the massage, I felt more relaxed and I started to feel those tight muscles I had was becoming more loose. read more

Lovely, lovely, busy salon but very efficient and moved people through quickly and POLITELY. Good pedicure, manicure, and strong chair massage. Love this place! I've been coming here for the last 2 months and have finally found my nail spot! Eva does my nails each time, and she's awesome! Very sweet and a pleasure to spend the time with. I've done regular pedicures, manicures, gel manicures and even just nail polish changes. I'm booking a Bourbon chocolate spa pedicure for my next visit - will update :) As for the nail salon, it's very clean and relaxing. I want to get a massage at some point as I see the masseuse gets a lot of customers. The manager is very kind and constantly making sure everyone is comfortable, asking if they want something to drink, etc. Feel very welcomed, and love the professionalism. All the other nail techs seem happy to work here - which truly makes a difference for me. I feel uncomfortable getting my nails done in places where people seem very unhappy/disgruntled. Anyway, I highly recommend this nail salon! read more

I always leave 64 Nail Spa feeling happier, hopeful, and just all-around in a better mood. I thank the ladies at 64 Nail Spa for this feeling :). Victoria, the kind woman who helped me with a manicure and pedicure, was the sweetest woman I have ever encountered in a nail salon. She chatted with me about her daughter, how much she loves her job, as well as just chatting to pass the time. I hadn't gotten a pedicure in at least a couple months - this woman deserves a MEDAL! She was so patient with the fact that my feet were disgusting, and she also chuckled with me when my feet kept squirming from how ticklish I was being! This spa is right down the block from my home, and these women are like family to me. read more

I had a great experience at 64 Nails & Spa. The location was very easy to find even with the current construction in the area. Great nail salon with professional and kind staff. The salon is very clean and staff do not rush customers. Immediately as I came in, one of the staff members took my coat and hung it up for me. I was a walk in for a gel manicure and was also given a 10 minute massage (total of $63 for both). I did not have to wait and was seated immediately. A bit on the pricier side, but worth the cost. Got some fun glittery nails done for the new year. Eugene did my nails and she did great! read more

I used to go to this place all the time. Recently it seems the quality decreased and the prices increased. Disappointing

Came here earlier this week because it was convenient for one of my friends on the west side. Was extremely caught off guard by the fact that my gel mani + regular pedi was $84. The service was average at best and my gels have ALREADY chipped (it's been 4 days and I haven't been rough on them by any means). Plenty of better places in the city with far lower prices - I wouldn't recommend. read more

They don't have prices posted so they can charge different people different prices. They charged my friends and I $100 each for a gel mani and regular pedicure. It was not even close to one of the better mani/pedi's I've ever had. It's been 2 days and my gel fingernail polish has already chipped. read more

Expensive, but well worth it. Got a terrible UV gel extension fill at another place (lifted and chipped within 2 days) and this place fit me in on 30mins notice. Nima was fantastic and extremely attentive to details. Fixed me up with a new set (because there was no fixing the old set) and it still looks practically new 3 weeks later. Highly recommend - I will be going back :) read more

That was my first time in this salon and I loved it! I walked in in the middle of the day and got seated right away. I did manicure with gel polish and pedicure with regular, also asked to make a special design on both feet and hands. Apparently, there's only one master Maria who does designs, and I got lucky to have her! She's done beautiful job and I hope this manicure will last a long time! The service was good too, I really enjoyed my time there. If there's another opportunity to get my nails done in NYC, I know the place. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but I have to with this. I just walked in off the street to get a dip manicure. Moved to NYC in January -- and this has become my favorite place. They do an amazing job, take their time and are extremely caring and careful. They are cautious with COVID, and extremely professional. I believe the person I observe normally is the owner, and she's also so happy it makes me smile whenever I go in. I recommend this place to anyone! read more

The staff are very, very nice and the place is extremely clean. I particularly like the plastic lining that they place in the tub for your feet during pedicures. However, they are very expensive, like 76 for a spa pedicure. For this cost I would expect to be in a more fancy salon. Also, while the usually do a very good job if there is a problem before they would fix it- it has been more difficult for them to do that as of late. All in all it is a great place, where they learn your name and are clean and friendly. If you have the extra cash then this is the mani pedi place for you. read more

My boyfriend and I got mani-pedis here for our anniversary celebration and, as it was our first time at 64 Nail Spa, we will definitely be back. I felt very comfortable as they had taken our temperatures before entering the salon and had both of us wash our hands before touching anything. I had wanted from the beginning to get the popular "jelly nails" which is a little difficult given that they must be slightly transparent. Whom I believe was the owner was kind enough to take the time to test multiple colors to find the right shade for my rose tinted transparent gel nails and I couldn't be happier with the result! Leticia was my nail technician and from start to finish she was very attentive to detail and handled both my hands and feet carefully as she wiped away even minor inaccuracies. I felt no pain and was treated to a light hand and foot massage. My boyfriend even agreed to come back with me after having such a good experience! read more

Checked out this spot that is a bit farther away than my usual salon, but I haven't been as happy with my usual so I wanted to try something new. The staff was welcoming and inviting. I really appreciated that when I picked out a polish, I was told that it would be an extra $5 because it is a long-lasting polish. When I explained that I just wanted a basic, black polish, they took the time to find the polish for me. The pedicure itself was straight foward - nothing super fancy, but relaxing and well done. I loved that the drying station had a 'warm' function to keep my toes warm while they were drying. I'll be back and this might be my new regular spot. read more

Really enjoyed my experience at 64 Nail Spa - I went before seeing Oslo at Lincoln Center; it was the perfect way to kill some time before a show. Super clean place with nice workers. Prefer cash for tips (no signage); they let me tip on my card. I treated myself to the green tea pedicure ($65); I'm a runner so my feet were not in the best shape and it's now sandals weather. The girl I had was great - she really took her time; I arrived around 530 and didn't leave until 645. Their regular pedicures are $35, which I'd get in the future because it covered all of the basics you want in a pedi. It was busy in there; not sure if they do appointments but that could a good option. Will be back if I ever need a nice pedicure before a show. read more

The experience is nice for the most part, if you have to do this nail salon I recommend seeing Rita, she's great! I initially had another girl do it who was rushing and blatantly rude during the whole experience. She even cut my cuticle to the point where it started bleeding! I asked for someone else and told her I was unsatisfied with her service and she got upset and blamed me for asking for her to cut my nails properly. Once Rita took over the experience was much better. read more

I've been to this nail salon before so I went last night to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure after a stressful weekend moving. The manicure, pedicure, and extra foot massage I received were nicely done, but i was deceived at the end and for that this place gets 1 star. When it came time to pay, the price was significantly higher than I expected. It turns out the massage was extremely over priced, but that's fine, I asked for it. My bigger issue was I was charged $5 each for my manicure and pedicure for getting the Essie long wear polish. There was no sign stating this extra price NOR was I informed of this by my nail technician, which I found to be shady. When I brought up that the price was higher than I thought and that I had not been told about the price for the long wear polish, a woman I assume to be the owner started arguing with multiple technicians about whether I was charged correctly. She changed the price on me a few times, offered to refund, then ultimately told me I had been charged correctly. This was in front of the rest of the salon, where she easily could have pulled me aside to discuss. It was awkward for one, but also made me feel like I was not correctly charged. I ultimately ended up just leaving. I feel like this place is deceitful on pricing and rude. I have been to nail salons all over the city and am always told up front if a salon charges extra for the long wear polish (which not all do). If you like to have a relaxing experience, I suggest you skip this spot. I know I will never go back, which is a shame since I just moved into the area and was looking for a place for my weekly manicure. read more

I got a manicure here on Saturday and half my nails have already started to peel off - I think that's a new record for me. Also, they charge $5 extra for premium nail polishes (e.g., Deborah Lippman, Butter London) and $7 extra for Chanel. Not worth it, in my opinion. read more
