Due to us being from out of town and here for Dr. appointments, we had to reschedule for a half hour later. They understood and happily moved the appointment. When we arrived I expected disappointed staff, but they where happy, friendly and cheerful. These folks seemed like they really enjoy being here and helping people. They went out of their way to help me! That's customer service. I made an appointment here based on previous yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. Thank you Yelp and especially thank you Chameleon Hair Design!

We had our bridesmaid hair done by a chameleon and it was not a great experience…read more -They were not very friendly or professional. Making snide comments to each other in front of clients. Seemed to get annoyed if a client asked them to change or fix something -The quality of the up-dos most definitely did not match the cost that they charged. Each bridesmaid had to have their hair re-done by a hairstylist from a different vendor to fix what they did. They did not seem to listen to the style being asked or able to execute them properly. They very much do "old school" hair (I.e- very tight buns, large poofs, etc) again, not at all the vibe anyone asked for. -Seemed to be a lack of communication/organization between the studio and the bride The studio brought more stylists than agreed upon, and threatened to charge the bride if their "chairs were not filled". Again, lacking professionalism with the way they handled this.

That's me by the way this is Stroh, I had to call her that because her husband was so wonderfully polite and I met him earlier, was lucky to book me all I had to do was call in and ask availability and even if she wasn't available there was a good chance someone else would be but this is a full service salon that anybody in Los Angeles with envy it is beautifully laid out it has endless options for all sorts of cosmetic needs... I literally would bribe every one of my ex-wives with the stay at this place. However the prices are incredibly reasonable and what you get in return is a value much greater than what you paid for. You need a trim, coloring, manicure, pedicure, full salon experience?? You won't go anywhere else seriously I think people should fly in from Siberia there is no better salon

We talked about a deminsional 7 and 8, but I received a level 7, and I'm leaving with hair that looks darker than what I came in with. The balayage in the same place as my original grow-out, nothing is anywhere near my root and I specifically asked for money pieces, which I don't have. I spent $100 expecting to leave with an improvement and hair that reflected what we discussed and the inspiration picture I showed you. Instead, I feel like I wasted my money and am leaving less happy with my hair than when I arrived. I understand you're offering to have me come back next week for a couple of hours to try to fix it, but the reality is that I shouldn't have to rearrange my schedule and spend more time in the chair to correct a result that didn't meet what we agreed on in the first place. I'm genuinely disappointed with the outcome, and I don't feel that asking me to come back for a correction adequately addresses the fact that I paid for a service that didn't deliver what I asked for. Just a waste of time and money in my opinion.

I went to Michelle for a root color correct, she was super friendly and very easy to talk to…read more Unfortunately after having bleach foils in my hair for over 2 hours I left with hand fulls of my hair falling out. Michelle offered to pay for products to help the damage but told me not to brush my hair or it would continue to fall out and break off. I picked up the product she ordered from the local beauty supply, she told me to go home and apply it myself because she was scared to do anything more. I went home and read the product label, realized it was not the correct product for my situation, I told Michelle and she said she would order correct product and I could pick it up the next day. I went to pick up product for the second time and the professionals at the beauty's supply store said the product Michelle ordered would not do the job, they were completely shocked at the condition of my hair and said that bleach should not have been left in my hair longer then 40 min. They sent me home with what they all thought would be best. Michelle then proceeded to text me saying she was sorry for my hair but if I wanted her to fix it I would have to pay for it because "NO hairstylist" would provide the service she provided me with for free and I had already put her out $300 she also told me she did nothing wrong and my hair was just too damaged to start with. Mind you when I left her salon my hair was wet, falling out in handfuls, completely damaged to the point of not being able to brush it, she was very apologetic and told me she wouldn't charge me, still I left an $80 tip to cover the $30 of repair product and $50 for her time. Only to be told the next day that if I want it fixed I will have to pay more. I have seen beautiful pictures of Michelle's work, unfortunately my experience was not as successful and my hair is permanently damaged and falling out in patches. I understand mistakes happen and hair color is a science, but when damage is done it should be made rite.

I called and called and called and she never answered my calls or returned them. It wasnt until after a few times of contacting the salon directly did I get any response out of her. After I scheduled (she did honor the groupon even though at this point it had expired) she canceled on me the morning of and i had to reschedule. When I finally DID get my haircut she cut off about 3 inches more than what I asked for and did not give me the style I requested (I showed her multiple photos and described the cut a dozen times.) even after I asked her to restyle it. There is a huge chunk of hair cut out of the right side and everything is uneven. I am forced to wear it curly everyday to hide the bad cut. Its too bad I got this stylist.
