Everyone else wanted to put their own touch on it and it always ended up looking "small town mom" and a total disappointment. It was funny how she would go from chatty stylist to semi salesperson when she'd mention a product but that was minor and very low pressure (I hate sales pitches). She explained each step of the process and suggested some alterations to the cut that made sense with my hair/face combo. I got one side shaved and appreciated her just hopping in and doing it without the weird little build up/"areyousure?theresnoturningback" freak out some stylists do when you want to make more than a slight change. She waxed and shaped my brows too and they look much more polished. I have the slightest bruise on one lid but that happens about every third time i get them done so I can't blame that on her, in fact my brows usually are flame red for the rest of the day after a wax and they returned to their normal color by the time I left and I could actually go somewhere else in town I stead of hiding at home! I've washed and styled at home since the cut and it still looks great. It's a properly done cut that can be restyled at home with ease. There were no mistakes hidden in the styling at the salon (which seems to be a frequent thing). I'm knocking off a star because the receptionist was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me, nor did another stylist who came up to the front desk. Even a smile and nod would be fine. Just something good to let me know you can see me standing up there.

I'm visiting from Los Angeles so naturally I'm very loud and extremely demanding but coming to…read moreSioux Falls I was pleasantly surprised I needed a very quick beard trim luckily one of the stylist who works here who is incredibly talented very efficient and literally can eyeball the most awesome solution for somebody who looks like they've been dressing in the dark for 30 years... That's me by the way this is Stroh, I had to call her that because her husband was so wonderfully polite and I met him earlier, was lucky to book me all I had to do was call in and ask availability and even if she wasn't available there was a good chance someone else would be but this is a full service salon that anybody in Los Angeles with envy it is beautifully laid out it has endless options for all sorts of cosmetic needs... I literally would bribe every one of my ex-wives with the stay at this place. However the prices are incredibly reasonable and what you get in return is a value much greater than what you paid for. You need a trim, coloring, manicure, pedicure, full salon experience?? You won't go anywhere else seriously I think people should fly in from Siberia there is no better salon

We talked about a deminsional 7 and 8, but I received a level 7, and I'm leaving with hair that looks darker than what I came in with. The balayage in the same place as my original grow-out, nothing is anywhere near my root and I specifically asked for money pieces, which I don't have. I spent $100 expecting to leave with an improvement and hair that reflected what we discussed and the inspiration picture I showed you. Instead, I feel like I wasted my money and am leaving less happy with my hair than when I arrived. I understand you're offering to have me come back next week for a couple of hours to try to fix it, but the reality is that I shouldn't have to rearrange my schedule and spend more time in the chair to correct a result that didn't meet what we agreed on in the first place. I'm genuinely disappointed with the outcome, and I don't feel that asking me to come back for a correction adequately addresses the fact that I paid for a service that didn't deliver what I asked for. Just a waste of time and money in my opinion.

I paid $450 for the hair and $164 for the service to have them put on. After a couple days I was very unhappy with them because they felt very tight and itchy and some of them were visible. I decided to have them removed. Josie, was very unhappy with my decision. She removed them in a back room. I told her she did a fine job but I just didn't like them and they are uncomfortable. She called me condescending (I wasn't) and said she no longer wants to do my hair and I should find a new stylist. I said to her, well I'm happy you have enough customers that you feel it's okay to cut off a customer. Previously, she would call me friend, and say you're funny, etc. then when she was so mad that I wanted them removed and she couldn't make more money from the hair extensions to be moved up every 6 months, another $150 every time, she no longer wants to do my hair and told me more than once that I am condescending. I was not. I was thinking how much this impulsive action on my part cost me and it was an expensive mistake. I never blamed her. I really felt crapped on. She wasn't even going to wash my hair after she took them out which she had to use some oil product to get them out and she knew I was going on some errands. I told her to wash it out, she carelessly washed and dried it. She then put my hair extensions in a bag. She said I could see someone else there and I said okay how about the girl that works by you and the other stylist said, she's no longer taking new clients. I said oh whatever and left feeling pretty unhappy with how I was treated. That's a joke, they take walk-ins but wouldn't give me the other girls business card. I give them a "F" in customer service! I looked at the extensions at home, she had ruined the tie in ones, they were a mess, I was going to try to sell them or something. Painful experience · Unfriendly atmosphere
