Although I don't do many facials, my experience at Radiance Day Spa was really positive! Nicole did a wonderful job on my Age Defense facial. She has a very nice touch in facial massage and the products seemed of high quality. While I was in Sioux Falls, I was lucky enough to find this place! I had a Classic Spa Facial with the eye and lip treatment add-ons. From the time I walked in, I knew this place was special. It was clean, well decorated, with designated spaces designed to enhance the experience. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Upon my arrival and check in, I was offered a warm robe and slippers. They provide lockers for your personal belongings. The women's area was very clean and well organized, complete with showers and toiletries for your needs. Throughout the facility, there were stations for beverages, coffee, tea, and water. While I waited for my aesthetician, I sat by a wonderful fireplace and just relaxed. When Anna came to get me for my facial, I was led to a private room. I can't stress enough how wonderful the ambience is in the spa. It promotes relaxation and peace of mind, both of which I needed. Anna was polite and attentive, and listened to my needs, and concerns. She even offered advice on a manicure I'd received from a different place a couple of days prior where my cuticles were sore, red and swollen. I only wish I had found Radiance Day Spa sooner! I'll definitely go there for my next manicure. After my facial, I was extremely relaxed. It included an arm and hand massage and neck. My skin was very smooth and moisturized afterwards. I was very pleased with the overall experience. I suppose the true test of great service is if the customer returns. I will definitely be back to Radiance Day Spa the next time I'm in Sioux Falls. I was disappointed in my experience at radiance day spa. I was visiting from out of town, and wanted to pamper myself. There are quite a few places I considered in Sioux Falls, and even though this seems to be the most expensive I was really hoping for a stellar experience. Unfortunately, for the price, I was disappointed. I got the radiance facial, which was 10 minutes shorter than it should have been. The gal was 10 minutes late coming to get me as I was sitting in the waiting room, and even with the built-in 10 minute buffer for changing and what not, it was short. The technician I had just didn't seem to have the skills I'm used to. Her extraction technique was the most painful I've ever experienced. The massage on my face and neck etc. just didn't feel that good. It was like she was going through the motions rather than having a good understanding of what her touch felt like. She left a good amount of massage oil on my feet, my hands, my shoulders, basically everywhere. At the end I had to look for a towel to wipe off with. About halfway through the session, the music just cut out inexplicably. Not only was it less relaxing without the music, but then I could hear some loud conversations in the hallway, which were distracting. The technician also had AirPods in, which I found pretty unprofessional. At the end of my experience, I did ask to speak to a manager so I could give my feedback. I tried to explain why I was disappointed, but she didn't seem very concerned that I had a poor experience. She was nice about it, but definitely refuted what I was saying. Ultimately I ended up with a $20 discount, but in my opinion I still way overpaid. I really wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. read more

This is the premier place in Sioux Falls if you're looking for a real spa experience. Ambiance is big for me and Radiance checks that box for sure. It's quiet, peaceful, the entire staff is professional and they make you feel that your experience is their priority. The massages and facials are incredible and prices are very much within the norm. The service at this spa was top-notch, and the women were extremely friendly. However, there were a few things that could be done to improve. I had a massage; a pedicure; and did a float. The massage was ok; not the best I've had - again, the woman who gave me the massage was very very nice. The pedicure stations were not comfortable, and were awkward to sit on. After an hour my rear end actually hurt. And the float was not something I would do again, especially for an hour. I might if it was 20-30 minutes, but that's it. Also, the locker room is ridiculously small - you have to back out of the curtained area to change your mind. Especially as that is the only section of the spa that is "women only". Be prepared to see a lot of men, which if you are in your robe can be uncomfortable for some people. Overall, I might go back, but I would try different services that didn't require the use of the locker room. read more

Amazing! Took my mom here to unwind. Started in the steam room, enjoyed some tea in the relaxation area before our foot soak and then massages. I had a hot stone massage with Tammy. She is amazing. I didn't want to get up from the table! If I lived in Sioux Falls, I would definitely set up regular appointments. read more

Wow! I was so impressed by this spa and their staff. From the moment you walk In the door they make everything all about YOU. I got a robe and slippers to wear and then when I came out to sit in the waiting room there was a warm foot bath waiting for me! Absolutely amazing. Julia did my facial and oh my gosh she was awesome! So professional, genuine, and knowledgeable. She taught me so much during my facial and I even got a massage during it as well! Got a Brazilian here. I called ahead of time to make sure they used hard wax for brazilians and they assured me they do. The girl ended up using soft wax and it hurt like hell. I was swollen and in pain for days afterward. I thought it might have hurt more because I was pregnant at the time and that can make you more sensitive but a month later (still pregnant) I went to GA and got waxed at the salon I used to work at where they use hard wax and it barely hurt at all and I hardly even had any redness. Very disappointed that they weren't honest. The esthetician was nice and the facility was beautiful and peaceful but that doesn't mean anything when I'm in excruciating pain for days afterward. read more

I took my sister-in-law here for her birthday. We each got manis, pedis, and Swedish massages. The massages were above average, but the beautiful interior and the friendly staff are the only reasons Radiance gets even 2 stars. The problem was, the nail estheticians (while very friendly and sweet!) made both my and my sister-in-law's cuticles bleed in multiple places. I've been getting pedicures for 20+ years all over the world, and never in my life have I had someone who was so vigilante with the cuticle trimming. My sister-in-law cried out in pain a couple of times. I should've said something but I just wanted to get out of there and clean my feet so they didn't get infected. This place would be ok for a massage or maybe other body services, but not for nails! It makes me sad to say the because everyone was so nice and I feel like they really make an effort to have a warm and relaxing atmosphere, but I just cannot look past our pedicure experience. Ripping cuticles open is dangerous. I hope Radiance will re-train the people they have because I think there's great potential from everyone we encountered! read more

Took my spouse here for an entire day long experience to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and it was definitely not what I hoped for. The staff was nice, but compared to other spas I've been to did not feel like they were there to pamper us. My main complaint is that the midday lunch we had planned was not only late, but it also was completely not what we ordered. To ' stay on schedule' we decided to eat the wrong food, only to find hair in the food within a few bites. They offered to order more food for us, but it would have been from the same restaurant where the hairy food came from and we would have had to push our facials back to a later time. We decided to forgo our last treatments so we could go get food since we were starving. They didn't charge us for lunch, thank gawd, and didn't charge us for one glass of wine. Considering the gift to my spouse was majorly spoiled, I wish they would have done something more to make it right. Would definitely never go here again. On the bright side, the float pool was cool, and we had a few good therapists earlier in the day. read more

Came here to get an eyebrow wax and Brazilian. I already have light brows to begin with, but after this wax my brows went from having a nice shape to being so thin that they are almost a hair thin at some points. At no point during the wax was I shown how they looked so I was completely blindsided when I saw the results. Also, they weren't even remotely the same shape. I asked to clean up the tail, and she took out of the main part of my brow. Although the Brazilian went fine (still hurt quite a bit and can still feel stray hairs they did not catch), I had such an awful experience I went home crying. I will not be going back again. Please save yourself the money, (might I mention it's incredibly overpriced?) time, and heartache and go literally anyplace else. I must say the staff is very sweet and did give us a full refund, but if I come some place expecting a service to be done right by a professional, this means very little. read more
