Small neighbourhood cafe located just off of queen street. There is a small seating area outside, and a few tables inside as well. The lady serving me was very kind. I got a strawberry scone (topped with rosemary, whipped butter, and fresh strawberry), and an iced coffee. Delicious! Prices are reasonable. The pastry and food options are limited but they all looked delicious. Free wifi available.

What an adorable café! This place is truly deserving of 5 stars. The person behind the counter (owner perhaps?) was so warm and friendly, and brought me some free pistachios and a bite of one of the best brownies I've ever had, while I waited for my scone. The blueberry scone was fresh out of the oven, and just scrumptious. I also couldn't get over how cute all the dish ware was. A must visit for every future trip to Toronto!

We tried their flat white and americano, both were good. A very reasonable price point as well. Small little cafe with both a bit of indoor and outdoor seating. Inside was quaintly decorated. Service was also very good. Read a lot of good reviews on their saffron cake so decided to try one as well. So moist, light and delicious. Their scones looked good too, would definitely try if we're in the neighbourhood again.

This is one of my favorite cafes in downtown Toronto. When I first discovered this place, I was happy to love the cozy atmosphere. This place is also famous for its delicious bakery, and when I tried it myself, the scones, cheesecake, and brownies were all delicious. It is also good for reading books on a comfortable sofa or working on a laptop on a large table in the center. Baristas are alway kind and make me feel welcome.

Okay how CUTE are these coffee mugs!! I love them, they were playing such good music too, the vibes were so cozy and homey. I love this place, I legit stumbled onto it while I was waiting for my appointment. The barista was so friendly too, he told me he did a bunny latte art and it looked so cool, I loved it.

    Cute spot on Queen West.

Great new spot that appeared out of nowhere in the Queen West hood. Situated right across from Wendy's, it's in a building that had the big mural on it with trees and a streetcar, (now sadly gone) and right at the foot of (6) Denison where it meets Queen Street. Instead of boarded up windows, now there's a bright cheery room visible from the street as you walk by which certainly livens up the corner. Inside there is a welcoming ambiance and glass case of baking to greet you. Classy looking interior with art and tastefully appointed furniture fill out the space. And the proprietor Sobhan, told me that the rooftop is available once the warmer weather arrives again. I sample some of the coffee, from a local roaster "Pirates of Coffee" and it was super delish! Also, the baking, made with love by his mom no less, was really good. I had a bacon scone and they have sweet versions of these as well. Check it out when in the area!

I had the good fortune of living down the street from this cafe for a few months, and they are an absolute delight. The coffee is great, but it's really the pastries (especially their scones) by which they distinguish themselves. (From conversations I overheard, I understand that the owner used to work as a pastry chef - and it shows!) The space is cozy and inviting, with a large central table useful for various uses, and the staff was very kind.

Shop has great decor and very unique style. The owner was super nice to us and you can tell she's very passionate about the cafe. I recommend the strawberry scone my friend got. P.S. it has filling inside!

5s Cafe is a welcoming spot with incredibly friendly staff. It's a very cozy atmosphere. Their fig scone is a must-try, and the oat milk cortado is perfectly balanced. The chai latte is also incredible. Highly recommended!

Nicest staff, and delicious coffee. Enjoyed a latte and spoke with the owner, who is just lovely. Will be back to support this delightful business.

hands down literally the best scone in toronto I at least come here twice a week to study or chill:)

I love ginger beverages- it wasn't overpowering here, I mostly tasted the kiwi and sparkling lemonade. It was busy in there but we still got our orders and drinks quickly, I appreciate how fast the service was. My friend got one of their banana bread drinks - if you like the taste of hojicha, this was particularly strong which I personally enjoyed! Love how the store also has sections where it is like a little market selling local goods and always fun to see the dogs that are sitting outside. The prices are a little expensive (my refresher before tax was $7.5) but typical for what you'd pay in Toronto for a fun drink, from what I've seen.

I'd absolutely come here to get some work done if I was able to get a seat. One thing I really love is that they sell handmade goods from local artists and host craft nights, it feels very community driven and adds such a fun, unique touch to the café. Drinks I tried: Maple Goguma Latte - Slightly nutty, lightly sweet, and super comforting. I added a shot of espresso, which made it perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Dalgona Latte - A really fun drink with great texture. Just make sure to stir it well since the sweetness settles at the bottom. They're known for their creative, seasonal drink menu, and I'm already excited to come back to try what they release next season. Definitely a must-visit if you love cozy cafés, unique drinks, and supporting local artists.

We shared the Mango Bingsu, and it was huge--easily enough for the five of us. The flavor was a solid 9/10, super refreshing and delicious. If they had crispy corn flakes on top, it would've been a straight 10/10 for me. We also got two Dalgona Lattes, one with oat milk, and she differentiated them with the coasters, which was such an adorable touch. Now I need to go back just to try more drinks! Parking was free but a little awkward--spots are at an angle, and the plaza can get busy. But honestly, it's worth it. When we went, a few moms were catching up over bingsu, and it was such a wholesome vibe. Can't wait to be back and explore more of the menu!

Service was friendly and quick as usual. There's free parking at the plaza, though a bit tricky to find a spot during peak hours (dinner-time to closing).

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!

It's a tiny, cozy place with only a couple tables and tall chairs, so they can really only accommodate grab-and-go orders, other than a few people to sit or work. I realized it was already late fall and I hadn't yet had my one and only PSL of the year, so that's what I ordered. It was decent as far as PSL's go and came with a lovely little foam pumpkin on top. Tres adorbs. The iced strawberry matcha latte also looked incredible and I had order envy. My friend ordered a pastry and said it was delicious. They also have a great little selection of food items, canned bevvies, coffee beans, teas, as well as souvenir gifts for purchase such as ceramic mugs. Did I mention the coffee was really good?
