    Spicy wonton

I found not one, but two black hairs in my pho. Luckily I had ordered some tasty wontons on the side so I had something to eat - and they were scrumptious, so I imagine the pho would have been nice, too.

Vegetable Pho is my go to meal . Shrimp rolls tasty too. Correction: Dinner service starts at 5pm.

Love this place. Haven't been in probably a year. Walked here to find the hours changed. But they have not on Google on Apple Maps on Yelp and so on. Bummer. Just asked Yelp to update so at least it is accurate on Yelp. There was a worker inside relaxing at the table on his phone, it was dark and clearly closed sadly at 4:30. Fortunately I only have to wait 30 mins and today I can do it, but would have sucked if not!

I love their take-out options. It's so Easy to use the website. It accepts apple-pay and the website through Beyond Menu. When I pick-up my food, it's always hot & ready. Very quick service. I have seen the restaurant when it's busy and there are times it's completely empty. I have already order various dishes from them and never had a problem. They open late which is a bonus, because a lot of places in the area close early. Don't expect the fine-dining experience. It's a very small restaurant & parking can be limited because of the bar next door. Staff is very nice & friendly. It's pretty much enjoy the food and come-back again.

    "crispy tofu". So bad
    Saya Y.

You know those restaurants in the middle of Michigan that are called "Oriental kitchen" and have chinese, korean, and japanese food, but also chicken nuggets. And the local white people eat it up? That's what this feels like, but the west LA version. The good: - The pho soup and noodles were good - The egg rolls were pretty good! The medium: - chicken wings were "standard" per by partner The bad: - service. Looks like it's a common issue but takeout took much longer than they said it would take. Probably took 20 minutes longer than they said it would, even our door dash driver was pissed. - see the photo of the "crispy tofu" salad. Hella over cooked, super hard and stale to chew, the fact that an establishment feels okay serving that level of mess up to someone that paid for that is wild. - The meat in the pho was TOUGH. My bf and I got different types of meat and both of them were really tough, like where you keep chewing forever and it balls up into a dry collection of meat that you can't swallow. Again, the low level of quality control is disheartening. Instead of a kind and homey family owned restaurant it feels like the greed to try to expand to different types of asian food resulted in poor management and delivery of goods. I love finding local small businesses like cafe brazil and plank 47 pizza and Fresh Pita Organic Express, but this isn't it.

This place is a traditional spot. They have amazing food. The service is great they always make sure you get taken care of. The lobby gives off a traditional viet lobby. I love that e need more of this in California . Bring back mom and pop shops this is for sure a hidden gem:

Salt & Black Pepper Chicken Egg Rolls

Take out was fast, easy and to the point. The food was hot even after driving all the way home. The salt and pepper chicken was great - probably the best part of this meal. The egg rolls were ok, great crispy crunch but not much for flavor or texture on the inside. They combined two orders into one dish but that was more of an inconvenience trying to portion out. The noodles we ordered had hardly any veggies in them and were heavily, if not over, drenched in sauce. Not too bad but nothing amazing.

Love this place for their lemon grass chicken (chicken com) and beef rice plate and their chicken pho! Great prices and great quality everytime. Just like a home cooked meal. Their hot and sour soup changed though. Now it's watered down, too sweet & not very spicy. Tastes like a lot of corn starch.

This is the 3rd times that I has come back to 5i because I really love this restaurant Pho Vietnamese noodle. I would say it is the best that I can find in Culver City. I order beef Spring Roll for appetizer. I enjoy the texture of the combination of rice paper, noodle, lectures, beef especially dipping with the peanut sauce. It is really amazing. I forgot all of the stress of my day. I ordered spicy beef noodle (number 108) for my main dish and a bowl of beef tripe + tendon. I can tell it is the best Vietnamese beef noodle that I have been eating in LA. I can taste the quality of the beef ingredients is pretty outstanding. It is better than any Vietnamese beef noodle restaurant that I have tried in LA. I am amazed while I saw the beef tendons has been cut into small slice as a sashimi portion which flowing in the really tasty broth. The spicy favor just bring all the ingredients and texture to the next level. Sincerely, I rarely drink a lot of beef noddle broth in mostly Vietnamese restaurants in LA cos I don't feel comfortable about that. However, I surprised that I could eat that much and completely drink all the broth. It ended up with two empty large bowl. I transform my stressful day to a delightful one after the meal. Overall, I can tell the owner put passion, sincerity, love and care to what they do. They pay extra attention to small detail. In addition, when I look at the world, it can emphasize the Vietnamese culture the old days. I would come back again, recommend good friends to come to this restaurant for sure.

It was different from the beef banh mis I've had in the past. It's smokier and tastes seasoned more like American BBQ than Vietnamese. Seasoning was a little inconsistent throughout the sandwich. Some bites tasted fantastic while some tasted a little off? I do like that it's on the more savory side than sweet side. I also liked tha the beef was thinly sliced and tender + there was a decent amount of meat. However, I would've liked more cilantro. Bread is on the harder side even after I heated it up. It's also a little overpriced, but this is coming from someone who's mostly only explored the 626 where the Banh Mi's are closer to $9 for a similar size. I was told these are "West Side" prices, which makes sense...
