We've loved 54 Pizza forever, especially the pepperoni stuffed breadsticks, but I had a bit of an unfortunate incident last night. I ordered a Bruno sandwich and it came to me missing the cheese. I normally wouldn't complain, but cheese is an important component of a sandwich. So, I called to see if I could get an account credit since a major topping was left off the sandwich and, while the employee on the phone said my account would be credited, they were short and acted annoyed that I complained...but cheese is life. I was very friendly on the phone because I understand that mistakes happen, but when they do, representatives of the business should apologize and not act inconvenienced. read more

Ordered 2 pizzas, 2 cookies, rice crispy treat and 2 bags of chips. Did NOT receive the chips. One pizza was supposed to be thin n crispy crust, was same crust as the other. Pizza was "stuck" to box. We decided we wanted pizza. We wanted medium size with only garlic sauce on a few toppings. My mother is Allergic to red dye in food but she can eat garlic parmesan sauce. Their reply was we don't just put garlic sauce on it because it's messy? Sir this how she wanted her pizza made. He ask for our phone number, and then goes into detail about our history order of previous toppings? Yes with garlic sauce n the toppings. His reply was that he couldn't make what I order? I was frustrated, hung up and we drove to the place. I walked in and request to order the pizza that I mentioned on the phone. I said how hard is it to take a customer order as requested. He said we don't make them in that order n that I couldn't have what I wanted and told me to leave his store. I replied that he was a dick head and left. i understand that this was about 3 hours after the power got turned back on but it took me being at pizza express for a hour because they had to fire up the pizza oven and then got both of our orders wrong even though it only had 2 toppings they still forgot the ham so then they just added it on after I will also say for the price that I paid I would have expeded some kind of coupon or something especially after they got the order wrong and i was there for a hour!! my order was one personal pepperoni pizza and a large Hawaiian pizza I feel like that's pretty simple but it might be just me.i could also hear them in the back just talking about gossip while making my pizza that could have contributed to forgetting my toppings and messing up the personal pizza. read more

I had the buffalo pizza, it was very good. There was a mistake in ordering, the guy at the counter rung up bbq pizza. They did not hassle me, simply took back the bbq and made me a fresh buffalo pizza. Has a good wifi for customers. Visiting from Washington State so only one experience here. We ordered a thin crust with 2 toppings. It was quick service, the thin crust was really "floppy" lacking any crispness. We have ordered pizza just about every Friday where I work and we always order from 54 Pizza. It is the best pizza in town! The Mighty Meaty is so loaded I can eat one piece, and be done. I'm full. If I eat two, I feel like I need a nap. It's absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong! read more

54 Pizza has been a go to for my family growing up. We still get it when we are all together in town. We get the family meal deal and it comes with two pizzas, breadsticks, cinnamon sticks, and a two liter. Quite a deal for the family and we always have leftovers, too. I like the sausage on their pizzas, it's finely grated and tastes wonderful- and they don't skimp on the toppings. The breadsticks are some of my favorite, too. Fresh and delicious with the cheese sauce! We have had a few order mix ups which is why I knocked a star, but love this place and recommend trying if you haven't! They have really high quality pizzas with real cheese on them, but my favorite at this place is their sandwiches. Especially the toasted sub they call the Extra. I order it every time I come in. It has to be the best sandwich in the tristate area. If you dine in and they are not too busy, they will bring you a chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven. We had a great time here. The food was fresh and fast and the service was the best I have seen in awhile. We had a group of 15 and they treated us great. We will be coming here again the next time we are in Owensboro. I would recommend the EBA pizza and the cinnamon bread. Really good!! read more

The very best part was the lady that took our order, went & baked fresh cookies & brought them out for us. She was so nice :) The price was a lil higher then most but they do have several specials. Just got our pizza delivered from the East location and it looks like the delivery guy dropped our pizza and delivered it anyways! All the toppings had slid off to the side so we had to scoop everything back on top of the pizza to eat it. The manager (Matt) had no useful solution for us when we called to inform him of the mishap. He offered to exchange our pizza out for another one meaning we'd have to not eat this pizza, wait another hour for them bring us a new pizza and give the first one back. We were very hungry so that just wasn't an option. No discount on our next order, no "let's give you some bread sticks or something to make you happy", didn't even say he was going to have a conversation with the delivery guy.
