The manager was not very pleasant to speak with- she offered no resolution and tried to say "that's just how it is." Essentially even though the menu promises "a mix of blended greens, romaine, etc., sometimes we have more left over than the other so some days it's more spinach than the other greens." But as you can see from the photo the salad was literally just a spinach salad with no other greens mixed in. After several minutes of back and forth they begrudgingly offered to come back and remake it but I was only in town visiting for a couple days so I didn't have time for that. The main problem though was the attitude that I received from speaking to the business. It wasn't helpful or even kind, it was irritated.

For example I beta tested the Kentucky Fudge Pecan Pie in a baby sized cup and found that I love it! I also reaffirmed that I have zero allergic reaction to pecans. Furthermore, I discovered that pie crust bits in ice cream are flipping fantastic and something I will include in my extensive list of things I am thankful for come this November's Turkey holiday. I was sitting in the parking lot about to make a bad decision. As I open my door, a guy walks up the side walk, toward the Jimmy John's entrance. I follow him in. We both stand there for EIGHT MINUTES before any of the employees even look up from their phones. Finally, they take his order. A girl puts down her cell phone right on the counter where they make sandwiches and starts making his sandwiches, with her bare hands, no gloves -- which are required. During the process of making his sandwiches, she puts the sandwiches down several times to respond to texts on her cell phone. I just couldn't believe it. I had just ordered my sandwich and was about to swipe my credit card. I was just about in shock from the blatant disregard for food safety and obeying the law, etc... I told the cashier to forget it and then I said, all of you need to review the safe food handling requirements. She just had a blank look on her face as if she was clueless. I said, you have to wash your hands after using your phone, using the restroom, and each time you leave & return to the prep area. She said, "we do not". I then said, you can't be handling your phones while making customer's food either. She just looked lost. And then I left.

This is and was the only place that my family and friends would ever buy their pizza from... until about a week ago. I want to start off saying two things... One, the owner, Adam, is an amazing person. He's kind, friendly, and helpful. People like him is why my friends and family kept coming back. Two... In two years of ordering from this place, I had only complained one time, and Adam quickly fixed the problem. Okay, now to why I'm here... (And I've called to speak to Adam three times since, and was hung up on each time)... My family ordered a pizza the other night. It got here. It was burned around the crust, and the garlic dips that we paid for was missing. I called the store back and was treated nicely by a young lady who told me to hold for the manager, Billy. I told him my problem. He told me that was impossible for the pizza to be burned unless they ran it through twice, he said "I just don't believe it"... I told him that he was more then welcome to pick up the pizza if he would send us out a new one, to show that it was indeed burnt. He asked if any of it had been eaten. I told him that I gave my five year old a slice of the less burned piece, my baby was hungry and had already waited 45 minutes on delivery. Billy replied " well I find it hard to believe that it's burnt "... Again I told him that he could have the pizza back. He said " there's nothing I'm going to do to help you, I believe you're lying "... That's when I got angry and asked when Adam would be in. I told him that I knew Adam pretty well with as much as we've ordered, his reply was a very smart ellic remark, saying "Yeah, I bet you do, you've complained before". .. I replied " I've complained once, in two years! ". He laughed at me, said " well I'm not helping you" and hung up on me. I called right back. I wanted his name. He heard it was me and hung up on me again. Again, I called back. The young lady answered. I was pretty angry at this point and asked her for her manager's name. She sweetly said, "I'm so sorry, his name is Billy"... She asked me what was going on. While I was talking to her he snatches the phone from her, says " Talk to Adam "and hangs up on me. I've called three times since to be told Adam isn't there, and hung up on. So here I am. Never have I been treated so poorly by a restaurant employee, especially someone who is supposed to be a manager and represent the owner's establishment. As long as he is there, my friends and family will never order from there again... and we order quite a bit monthly. Adam, I apologize to you. I've tried to reach you many times, and wasn't allowed to talk to you. You are a wonderful person and I hate that you have someone representing your place of business such as this man. He truly does not care... I should have never been treated this way, even offering to come to HIM and bring him the pizza back... He just didn't care. Hopefully one day we can return to our favorite pizza place, but not as long as he's there. This review would have been a lot different and a 5 star under normal circumstances. Thank you. read more

What can I say, it is Pizza...I have only eat'n the buffet at the East location. There is something more there than just the food that makes this place: the employees are friendly...the atmosphere is very small town cafe... And I always leave satisfied. read more
