This place has been such a light in my life! Since moving here a few months ago, I've been constantly on the go, stressed, and desperately needing chiropractic care. Beyond out of alignment, they set up a custom plan for me! One of their employees, Patrick, is the star of the show. He is the sweetest soul and made me feel so important and welcome from my first time in, and at every appointment I have there(which is often 3 times a week) The office is extremely relaxing, usually candles and incense burning...ah. A much welcome change from a lot of very sterile medical offices. As soon as you check in, they are ready to take you back! In and out and you feel 10 times better than when you walk in. I absolutely love coming here! Victoria and Patrick are incredibly friendly and welcoming when I come in to get my adjustments. And Dr Hettick is the best chiropractor I have ever seen. I feel instant relief from seeing him. I have an 8 month old son who also receives regular care since he was born and they are all so sweet with him. The reviews I read are accurate. It's pretty assembly line. You can see other patients unless you're lucky to have a room. Staff is nice. Get ready for a hard sell--multiple visits for a discount. Tell them no. But the doctor really helped me out for an extremely reasonable rate. Three visits got me out of the worst pain I had the misfortune to endure. Did I mention "reasonable"? I move hot tubs for a living, I am always busy and time is very important. I love the fact they get you in and out. They are also very very affordable with their packages. I can think of 3 times I have hurt myself to the point of not sleeping, moving or being able to use the toilet by myself and after a week they have me back in tip top shape to do it all over again. Some people who see a "conveyor" system should realize their system is extremely efficient. For people who cannot waste an hour in their day I can get in and out and their staff is phenomenal. read more

i have always been a little skeptical of chiropractors because of past experiences but after working with 5280, my skepticism is gone. The office functions like clockwork and I always feel very welcome. I've worked mostly with Dr. Kroese and his adjustments are spot-on. I love being active and the regular adjustments have helped alleviate my lower back and hip pain while running and doing yoga. I've been going to 5280 Chiropractic for about a year now and I have been thrilled with the results. I am a very very active person (running, biking, skiing, surfing) and I my body takes a beating throughout the seasons. I came to the office with terrible low back pain that was caused by a vertibrae being twisted out of alignment. After about a month or two of excellent chiropractic chare and muscle work, and exercises, my back felt great and my overall health boosted. I am a firm believer in the power of chiropractic and so are the staff at 5280 chiropractic. they know each person on a first name basis and are always friendly and helpful. They have NEVER kept me waiting to see a doctor either. I can call same day and get right onto the bench. I highly recommend this practice. Most other chiropractic offices just adjust your back and send you on the way. Not here. they take time to get your muscles warmed up and help strech you out in addition to the adjustment. If you are an active person, or athlete, this is a great practice that I would definitely recommend. And I work downtown, so it's extremely convenient to walk two blocks at lunch and get an adjustment. Great Place! read more

Will never go to this place again. They treat you like a number, trying to get as many people in as they can. They seem to pride themselves on getting as many people in the door, no follow up given, I don't believe they new I left. I realize the main business is for injuries, therapy, but when a person comes to your office 2 times a week for 2 monthes straight, learn to know their name. It's called caring. GUARD YOUR WALLET!!! I bought a Groupon for a Chiropractic exam,adjustment and massage. I let the receptionist know right at the beginning that I would be using the voucher I purchased. The receptionist insisted on checking on my insurance benefit for future visits, right at the beginning! RED FLAG!!! After much pressure, I let them check and she said my future visits would be $30 with my insurance. So onto the exam. I could not believe the sales pitch. Crazy!! Even BEFORE I was examined they start up with leading questions such as 'How committed are you to your health?' (Meaning..how committed are you to coming back many times to line our wallets?) They then broke out the props to explain subluxation with little lights included. Again this is all BEFORE they have even examined me. Now as a side note, my wife has personally worked in a Chiropractors office. It was a large office with a a clientele that included many professional athletes. She NEVER saw this type of shady high pressure sales pitch used at that clinic. (They are in Omaha or believe me we would be using them). Back to the rip off artists at 5280... They insisted on x-rays to start with. Wow really? Again not something I have seen other chiropractors require unless there was a reason that necessitated x-rays.Then Dr comes in does exam and of COURSE finds SUBLUXATION. Get used to hearing that word, they love to repeat it as many times as possible! Okay fine, do the adjustment, but NOOO you have to COME BACK for the actual adjustment and make yet another appointment for the massage( that was supposed to come with all of this).They think nothing of inconveniencing their patients. Consider that their office is also right downtown and isn't the easiest place to get to, let alone parking. So I went back for another appointment to get the adjustment. Then I scheduled the massage and they strongly recommended another adjustment.(It will be $30 with my insurance.) I got the massage which was okay, got the second adjustment and paid the $30. Here is the best part....later I received my statement of benefits from my insurance. These jerks charged $220 for the adjustment!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!! My medical Dr's don't charge that much!! I don't care if they have contracted that amount as 'reasonable and customary' because it's NOT! I will NEVER go back here and I am considering filing a formal complaint against 5280 Chiropractic, through my own insurance company so they can hopefully remove them as a provider from their contract. Long story short, there are chiropractors out there that believe in patient care and don't focus on their wallets from the beginning. Stay away, unless you have lots of time and money to burn. Or if you don't mind them ripping off your insurance company. Just an interesting added insult. My wife posted a review of 5280 Chiropractic for me, basically saying the same thing. My wife was WITH me during the visit and witnessed their high pressure sales tactics. I asked her to put a review on Yelp. The chiropractor pressured Yelp to remove the critical review saying it was from 3rd party information even though we were together. That's fine I have just had to review again but set up my own Yelp account. read more

I went in for a 60 minute relaxing massage...NOT. First the room was cold, there was the most unrelaxing music playing, street noise was awful (haven't they heard of white noise). Of course, I should be thankful because as I was leaving Rap Music started playing. To top it all off the massage was terrible. I will not be returning. read more

I can not do for Dr Lloyd what he has done for me- but I'll sure try to pass the favor on by yelping my praise! I literally had gotten to a point with my shoulder and back where every day life was miserable. I could barely sit at my computer, could barely drive, and had such a hard time sitting at any table to eat. It was terrible, and I tried everything...massage, ibuprofen, a prescription for inflammation, visiting my regular doctor, going to a chiropractor (before I found 5280)...you name it! I was so skeptical and pretty certain I'd leave in the same shape I started in, but that was so not the case. After just a few visits with Dr. Lloyd, I started to feel some relief, and now that it has been a couple of months, my back and shoulder are normal again. Even more surprising, the entire staff has a positive attitude, the knowledge to answer questions, and a genuine desire to help. I find that they are flexible always, and have worked with me SO much. I've had to change appointment times more than I'd like to admit, and they always make it happen! They say hello, do muscle work with you, and continue to ask how you are and how you are feeling. Plus, they have worked with my finances and made it possible to actually finish out my treatment! This place is truly a blessing, and it blows my mind that there would be any bad reviews. My advice, if you have a back, shoulder, arm, or any body problem...see the doc! He can help!!!! I am a walking (and sitting!) example that chiropractics, at least at 5280, will change your life. read more

I bought a coupon for a massage and chiropractic treatment at this office. I had a great massage -- one of the best I can recall. (I think the guy's name started with a K, though I can't remember for sure.) But the chiropractic part of the visit was ridiculous. A "Dr. Mike" put me through a battery of questioning, nearly all of which was designed as a sales pitch and precious little of which actually related to medical treatment. There were lots of questions along the lines of, "on a scale of 1 - 10, how committed are you to feeling better?" "If you felt better, would that positively benefit your loved ones?" "If you felt better, could you be more productive at work?" At one point, Dr. Mike went off to "consult" with a different doctor about my treatment plan and came back only to ask something about if I would feel happier if I resolved some of my pain issues. He then subjected me to a couple of examinations and several X-rays. But then he decided that, because I'd already had a massage that afternoon, I should not receive any chiropractic treatment and I should come back (at my own expense) another day so he could interpret the X-rays. This process took something like an hour out of my day and was a complete waste of time that yielded no benefit to me. What a rip-off and lousy experience. read more

This place is beyond great!!! I was in town for a meeting and developed severe back pain. It was no problem that I had never been there before and I was able to walk in! You can actually walk in anytime during business hours and they take care of you in about 2 minutes! They also have rolling tables, massage vest things and other assorted apparatuses to help with what ails you! I went in the first time at lunch and then again the next day. The staff were very caring and nice, I could barely move and their concern for me was very comforting! If I lived in Denver, they'd be my only chiropractors! read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! I have had back/neck/shoulder issues for years now and only sporadically have been seeing a chiropractor when the pain got out of control. I bought the groupon to try this place out since it is conveniently located near my job downtown. I am amazed at how much better I felt even after my first visit! The staff is so friendly and accomodating, and all of the Doctors there are great. After your initial visit, you never have to set up an appointment time to get adjusted- you can just show up and they work you in ( I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes, even during the busy lunchtime rush). I am so happy with the results and think they do a great job of working with your budget and insurance to make sure you are getting great care at what you can afford. I even recommended a coworker to them who was skeptical about chiropractic to begin with, and now she is hooked too! After your initial visit, they work with you on a treatment plan which is an upfront fee to cover how every many visits you and they feel you need/can afford. After that you can pay for a monthly "wellness plan" which is a great value because you can go in whenever you want, how ever much you want! I went to 5280 today for the first time, and had seen a lot of positive reviews on Google. My impression was that everyone there was very nice and willing to be of assistance. I was glad they checked my insurance to see if it would cover the cost of my visit. The individual I met with was nice and seemed concerned about what was going on with my back. There were some of those questions about "How committed are you" and such, but outside of that, I thought everyone was nice and helpful. I am planning on returning, and I do have questions, but I do feel they will be answered. I was asked if I had any prior to the end of my visit and adjustment; I just like to think on things prior to asking questions or coming to snap conclusions. At this point, I would recommend this business to others. If I had any suggestions to the staff and the doctor, it would be to slow it down just a little, and cut out some of those marketing sounding questions, even if they have good intentions, they do come across a bit ... like up selling. I also want to add that the staff and doctor took the time to write out a note for my workplace so that I can continue the documentation of my condition., I thought that was nice and helpful. This chiropractic is very progressive implementing chiropractic and massage. I received excellent chiropractic work from Dr. Brandon and Dr. Lloyd. I feel like I have made gains in my back pain. They are always very professional and have a smile when you come in. I always feel I get the attention I need. I also get massage there. Was unsure about chiropractic treatment to begin with, but they launched right at me with a long-term "plan" and costs, all sales, without explaining any of what they planned to do and how it would help. Just that giving them money and committing to a long-term plan would fix me. I left. Maybe not their intention, but it felt very much like the money was the important part. read more

EXTREMELY disappointed in this companies customer service skills, or lack thereof. Our company scheduled two massages therapists to come to our office and provide massages to our employees. Well 10 minutes before they were supposed to be here they canceled on us leaving us with our hands in the air. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone in the Denver area. read more

This is by far the WORST chiropractic experience I've ever had. I now have a NEW injury after being seen at this office that has drastically impacted my life and well-being to the point that I may be facing surgery! The one star is for the massage I had once there that was done very well. But the chiropractic work is not! I knew instantly after the adjustment that something was wrong and told the doctor so, but he brushed it under the rug and put me on a stretch machine to "calm it down" saying it would be fine. It hurt like crazy and only made it worse! I have now struggled with this pain for almost a year and haven't improved at all. If you value your health, DO NOT attend this office!!!! read more

I have now been to 5280 Chiropractor 3 times. It is apparent to me that they are all about the numbers. As a healthcare profressional myself, I was skeptical of seeing a chiroprator but decided I would given it a try. Dr Lloyd and his team have a very scripted sales approach that made each visit seem very impersonal. The first visit is xrays and manipulation. The second visit you watch a generic video, then the MD come in the room to discuss your xrays, then sends his assistant in to try to sell you a package/plan. The 3rd visit they give you exercises you can do. When asked for all of this information on the first and second visits it was explained to me that it would be too overwhelming and it would be discussed the next time. In addition, there was not enough time spent warming the spine prior to manipulation, not any excerise tools in house other than a few massage beds which where never offered. The only plus to 5280 is that it is cheap. $40 per visit. In my opinion, if you have serious back problems you might consider seeing an Osteopath or a Physical Therapist before seeing a Chiropractor. If you are intent on seeing a Chiro, then I would go elsewhere. read more

I totally agree with the customer that wrote a review on 7-7-2013 stating this is all about SELL,SELL,SELL!; it seems that this business has not change its business practices: I did purchase a groupon for 2 massages and 2 Spinal Adjustments. I went last Thursday to request the 1st massage and 1st adjustment. I did receive the massage (reason I gave 2 stars) and then I was introduced in a little room where one person of the front desk started asking me a bunch of questions, some of them medical questions in my opinion; she decided I have to take a X-rays and scan of my back muscles for further medical review. The chiropractor then asked me to set up a new appointment to review the X-rays and scan results. I asked him for my "adjustment" I bought in the Groupon and he refused to give me this procedure; just asked me to see him later to review the full treatment and sessions I need to solve my neck/back problems (trying to sell me other stuff I did not ask for!); to make things worst, I left a golden chain with my wedding ring among other things attached to the chain in the little room where I did hung up my shirt before going to another room for the X-Rays. I noticed that I forgot . this chain the other day in the morning when I was taking my shower. I had to wait till 9 am to call them and ask a person with name Lupe (possible front desk person) to review the room where I hung up the chain or see if somebody returned it and they kept it for the owner. She said will review the room and other places and would return my call with news. 2 hours waiting... no call; I did call again, spoke with Alyson (another in the front desk) and requested the same. She promised to return the call in 30 minutes with any information.... 3 hours and no phone call at all. Made my 3rd (and final frustrated call) and talked to Alyson again: no chain in any place; asked her to check the massage room (which I was pretty sure I put it again after the massage) and promised to call me later with any news...no phone call at all! That is the way a client is treated at that location. None of the employees, not the chiropractor had the politeness to call me back as they promised to let me know that mysteriously the gold chain with my wedding ring and other stuff (a cross among others) never was found. I lost my time but most important thing I lost several thousands dollars that the chain with the other elements attached worth. I requested Groupon the refund of the money with an explanation like this so people are aware of this kind of business (and people). read more
