The owner and chef of this great mobile food truck is cashing in!!! All around town, business has never been better, I'm told. And here's why: Everything on the menu is savory. The Hash and Rice is simply delicious. Try it. You won't regret it. The pork sausage is hot and juicy! Not spicy. Perfect. Made with love from a guy who's heart is as big as America. He's the man! We had a great chat. He's super friendly and even offered a sample to taste before purchase. I really appreciate his generosity and of course the food is top tier!

Big Boys BBQ is worth the short drive off the main road. The BBQ was everything you would want - smokey and moist. The sandwich had so much meat it could easily have made 2 sandwiches. The plate comes with 2 sides. I got potato salad and coleslaw. The coleslaw was perfect. It had just the right tang from the vinegar with a light mayo dressing. The potato salad was also fabulous. I am not a potato salad person but if you get good quality it will convert you. If you stop, I know you won't be disappointed. I wasn't!

I'm not the biggest fan of brisket when visiting BBQ restaurants but theirs is amazing and I highly recommend it! I learned the hard way on my first visit and my son allowed me to try some of his. The sides are very simple but they compliment the BBQ. Fried okra was fresh and cooked to perfection. The jalapeño cheese grits are unbelievable and a must try! The atmosphere is casual and fun, the sides are always solid, and the brisket has great flavor. My only hesitation lately has been the brisket itself. The last few times I've ordered it, the pieces I've received have been much fattier than I prefer, to the point where a noticeable portion of the serving ends up being fat rather than meat. I know brisket naturally has some fat and that's part of what makes it good, but recently it's felt a little excessive. That said, the flavor is still there and I'll absolutely keep coming back. I'd just love to see a little more consistency in the cuts being served. Overall, still a great local spot and an easy four stars for me.
