This is a fine and welcoming bed and breakfase/chambre d'hôtel in a very nice location in Paris. There is a room for bed and breakfast, which is the one we took. There is also an apartment, which we saw, but didn't stay in. Rosemary, who owns the place and hosts guests is very welcoming and helpful. She is a font of valuable information about all the places and things to see and do in Paris. Her PDF guide is excellent. The location is very well located for walking around the city, and is close to the Moulin Rouge. The room itself is on an upper floor accessible by elevator. There is an en-suite bathroom, with the toilet across the hall. The breakfast consisted of fresh bread and pastries from the nearby boulangerie, fresh yogurt, and fruit, along with excellent tea. My wife hadn't traveled much before and she was skeptical of the whole bed and breakfast concept when we arrived, but by the time we left she was converted to a believer. I've been staying in places like this for more than thirty years, and this one is one of the very best. Parisians can be a bit cold at times, but this place is wonderfully welcoming. Highly recommended. read more
