A restroom area in the lobby was sufficient for a quick change a to freshen up as well. There is a small market inside that sells food, alcohol and sweets. Right across the street is a mall and a lot of eating options. You can arrive here by B Train (Laplace) or M4 (Barbara) and both are a 10-15 min walk depending on your speed. Moderately quiet, some ambulance sirens here and there. The room was clean with electric kettle, refrigerator, and espresso machine. My favorite part was the breakfast. Many options with cold cuts, bacon, eggs, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee options, cheese, cereals, etc. Everything was quite tasty. Be aware that this location is about 45-60 mins south of Paris' heart by metro. It's easy though. One can take one or two lines to get where you need to without problem. For three days, we were able to use the ten ticket metro/bus/train per person. Also know that metro B's Paris ticket does NOT count since it's outside of Paris; the M4 line DOES work.

One night I stayed out a little too late and had to take an uber back to the hotel, it only cost me about $15 euros, not bad at all.

The need to walk a bit to pick from a variety of eateries was most of the 1/2 star debit though there are a couple of Italian places right across the street. My only other little knock here was that the 1/2 length glass shield for the shower didn't help keep the floor totally dry during a shower. It's not a biggie, but just a comment for the management to consider. Otherwise, the room and beds and temperature control were comfortable and fine, and the place was clean. We had a nice city view from the 15th floor also. The breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor was also plenty adequate and satisfying and their coffee machines make tip-top quality coffee! Thank you!

The staff was very accommodating and courteous. The room was excellent and the air conditioning was life saving during the extreme heat. By far the cleanest, most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. Free wifi, elevator, and co-ed rooms make for all the right ingredients. Easily accessible from the Gobelins or the place d'italia metros. Literally in between the two. What grinds my gears though is that from 11am-4pm you my friend are locked out. BUT- seriously, who hangs out in the hostel during the day anyway. If youre in Paris, you should be having the time of your life. The times I was ridiculously hung over and slept in til 2 they didnt bother me. Perhaps it was the smell of liquor. They furnish sheets, and a pillow which are changed daily. 1E for the towel, bring your own as theirs are crap. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. The kichenette has tons of little things to help you get by if youre so inclined to cook, and there is a supermarche right across the street. Great little neighborhood with tons of bars as well.

I liked a lot of things about Oops Hostel: -fabulous neighborhood. It is close to most of Paris's touristy attractions, lined with amazing cafes to eat at, and it is 0 on the sketchy meter which is really important to me as a single female. -beautifully decorated and designed (I love just looking at it) -great staff -free breakfast that is decent- the coffee is mediocre but you also get croissants and bread which isn't too bad for a free breakfast -no lockers in rooms but lockers in the hallways which is convenient enough for me -VERY quiet. there is no bar attached to this hostel and they have a strict quiet policy at night. Invaluable for those who desperately need beauty sleep. This is not the place for you if you are the party-party type of traveler, it caters to a more mature crowd and most people here keep to themselves so it's not like you'll meet your new best friend here. I have to say the location and the quietness was what had me at hello- most hostels in Paris are in the sketch parts of town near Gare du Nord and that is why they are 5-10 euros cheaper a night.

We stayed at Bonne Nuit during a quick weekend getaway from nearby Amsterdam, which is only 3 hours away by high-speed train. Worth it. Do it! It was our first time in Paris and it was everything we dreamed it would be. Bonne Nuit and its wonderful hosts, Jean-Luc and his wife, made it even more magical. We arrived around midnight, but Jean-Luc stayed up to personally greet us and give us a brief, whispered tour of the beautiful house. We loved it from the moment we saw the lion-head door knocker on the front door to the stone entry way to the winding, creaking staircase leading to the rooms. We stayed in the Enclos des Templiers room, which overlooks the inner courtyard. The details in the room--the exposed wooden beams, the stone sink, and the absence of a TV--made it simply perfect. The mattress and pillows were perfection. We woke up both mornings to a light breakfast, personally served by Jean-Luc and his wife in the dining area of the house. This is where we also met a couple from Florida and a girl from Hong Kong. Bonne Nuit obviously appeals to a global audience and we could see why! One of the best parts of Bonne Nuit's location is its proximity to the most amazing flea market we've ever been to. Mere steps away are some of the coolest, more interesting treasures you will find anywhere. This flea market is simply spectacular and is worth at least two days' time, if you have it. No joke. We bought several postcards here and Jean-Luc was kind enough to mail them for us after our departure since we left on a Sunday and the post office was closed. So sweet! True hospitality. The B&B is very close to the République metro stop and from there, you can easily criss-cross the entire city. A wonderful stay, through and through.
