When I arrived at the hotel, the person at the front desk knew who I was before I even introduced myself, and they let me get into the room early! It seems like they have very few rooms, as there aren't very many floors and from what I could tell only three rooms per floor. The service was generally pleasant, but there were some issues getting the internet to work. Because I was here for a business trip, it was important to be able to use the internet, but even after obtaining a wired connection, it was still extremely slow and many websites did not work. If fast internet is something you will absolutely need in a hotel, you may want to stay somewhere else.
The room was very nice, clean, and the maid even folded my clothes and organized my toiletries while I was gone! There is a mini fridge where you can place some items if you wish, and there is a nice little grocery across the street. The bed was comfortable, but as I am a light sleeper, I did hear some noise from the other rooms at night. Generally, though, the hotel is rather quiet. The area is safe enough that I felt comfortable walking around nearby alone at night.
The hotel is very convenient to a metro station, the Louvre, and lots of shopping. I found the area to be the perfect location for my trip. At the front desk, they were very nice about allowing me to stay in the room past the normal check-out time. There are a lot of little shops close by the hotel where you can get a baguette sandwich or other items to eat on the run. I didn't have the concern about the cost of the hotel because I was there for business, but aside from that, I would definitely recommend this hotel as a cute boutique-style place that has a lot of charm. It is soo cute and has a quintessential Parisian feel to it. read more
