A relative and I even stopped by the venue and what do you know? Doors locked and lights off...during their so-called hours of operation. If your event is over 100 guests and you are okay with spending unnecessary large amounts of money for a venue tucked in the back of bunch of other office buildings off a busy FM2234/ Mchard Rd this spot may work for you. If this venue is meant for large or specific events only then specify that and at least call the potential client back. It was tacky and unprofessional to have never received any feedback or replies from management. Well the same day I took a drive to this venue and no one was in sight when I arrived was the same day I found the perfect and unique venue where I held my baby shower which had way more space for guests, food, gifts and games. The owner also gave me fab rate. So no thanks, Reflection Bay keep your venue. There are others with more amenities and management who will humbly communicate with any potential client.

Still, it was a great venue. Things went well technically, with videos display in multiple places. The food was great, but I believe family members provided the food. A dance friend rented this place for a weekend, and it became the summer party event. The party was…read moreawesome. But the house really sucked. If I had rented this place I would have literally gone room by room taking photos of how ill-kept this estate is for the price they charge. First of all, the person who rented the house prior to our stay spent the entire time partying with drugs and alcohol. It was literally documented on his webpage. The house reeked of marijuana. Reeked. The caretakers m tried to neutralize it, but it didn't work. Nasty. Second, the pool was browner than the Gulf of Mexico and the the caretakers shocked the pool to such an extent that black shirts and shorts and suits were literally bleached-which turned them brown. Third, the air conditioning sucked. I stayed in the master bedroom and the temperature in that room didn't go below 80 degrees. In July. In Texas. The living room got so hot that we could literally see the walls sweating. Legit water stains from that. The entire house was hot. The entire house needs a paint job and major cosmetic upkeep. There are places where you can tell water entered the house and ruined the baseboards and floor. At some point someone painted over the glass front door with red paint......I'm still trying to figure that out. The kitchen was nice and big, but the house didn't provide much. When the renter complained the caretakers went and bought things like pots and pans, but it's obvious they have no procedures that keep check of items in the house and whether they were stolen or not. While we were there the caretakers did come and clean the sheets and change bedsheets, etc. They were very nice, but I think they're just the hired help. Whoever is actually in charge of the estate needs to come and spend some major money to fix it up. The webpage says the estate can sleep more than 100. Um. No. Not unless those 100'are legit lining the floors with their bodies, and I mean lying flat on their backs on the hard floors and unable to turn over. Do not think you can have more than 100 sleep in this house. If there were a fire you would all die. The saving grace was that there was a coffee maker, and, wonder of wonders, coffee in the house. That's the one star. The coffee maker and coffee.

The room was spacious, clean and had conveniences of a fridge, microwave and a Keurig. Some higher end hotels don't offer all of those! They have Dove toiletries in the bathroom which were great. The hot breakfast was included, making it an excellent value, and offered more food choices than others we've stayed in. The beds were super comfortable. All in all it was a great stay and we will definitely stay here again if needed.

From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were met with indifference and a lack of professionalism. She began talking on the phone after we stood by the window. As she was the greeting face, she failed to greet us, offer any assistance or state that she would be with us shortly. As a venue that asks customers to pay potentially over $2,000 for a 4 hour rental space this behavior was off putting and a large factor into where we will spend our money. Very disappointing!

Thumbs Up: I can actually see my home from the rooftop. Thumbs Up: I've watched a few rooftop concerts from my balcony. Thumbs Up: As an added bonus, it's always entertaining to hear some of my neighbors complain about the "noise pollution" during HOA meetings. Living Downtown comes with unique advantages and occasional inconveniences. If someone can't tolerate city life, they may be happier living in the suburb provinces. Thumbs Down: Access to the rooftop is sometimes restricted during seasonal events and special art installations. I understand the need for ticketed events, but I wish general access to the public spaces could remain available whenever practical. Thumbs Down: I am able-bodied, but I couldn't help noticing that rooftop access appears difficult for visitors who use wheelchairs or have mobility impairments. The elevators are not easy to locate, and several were out of service during my many visits. Improving accessibility would make this space more welcoming for everyone.

They host an array of events and activities (some are free, while others are ticketed). Events and activities include live music, DJs, yoga, Zumba, and seasonal events like Winter Wonderlawn during Christmas and Lunar New Year. There are seven gardens which take up about an acre. There's signs throughout the lawn that explain the different gardens and various spaces. Sky Farm is operated by Blackwood Educational Land Institute and they focus on regenerative agriculture and cultivation of food. The Outpost can be rented for events. Yelp Houston has hosted some events at the Outpost in the past. During the summer, it gets very hot! They have quite a few covered/shaded areas and there's vendors throughout if you need water or a beverage. There's lots of seating too (both covered and uncovered). A visit to Post Houston isn't complete without making the trek up to Skylawn! The views alone are worth it!

I even went by his location and no Alex no response. I never heard back. Crickets! I had to go through another vender and had to pay a fee because of late booking and me picking up the table and chairs. Here it is a week later and still no response. I will never refer them to anyone.
