Anyone who knows me knows I try not to visit new locations until the third to sixth month of being open. Get all the kinks out and perfect the overall flow. This location opened May 1st. Well my son hit me up on Monday and said " Maaaaaaaa, where you at? I have a spot for you to try. "Reminding him I don't drink, do new locations, etc. He responded " nahhhh, it's a vibe, you will enjoy." I went and met the sweetest ppl. Mr. Gregory and Ms. J (couldn't pronounce her name) was so inviting, warm and beautiful souls to be around. We laughed, sampled some appetizers, drank and I said " I know you're closed today but I'm returning tomorrow for fish" Tomorrow is today lol I entered, was greeted and seated. Mr. Gregory came over said "hi". I told him " make whatever you like as long as it's seafood because I don't eat meat as I was looking over the menu because I couldn't decide lol. Baby, first the sides came out. Mac& cheese, black rice, rice and peas. Rice cooked exactly how I love it, grainy, seasoned. Loved the black rice flavor. Omg, the Mac & cheese was so cheesy, full of flavor, noodles were bigger than normal but it works. Then he delivered the fish with the explanation of the name, its Haitian recipe and how to eat this because it's salty. Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn, Mr. Gregory wasn't kidding when he said "salty" but its flavor with the fried potatoes was amazing. I enjoyed the fish with dipping the black rice in the gravy. THE FOOD WAS AMAZIING!!!! I didn't care for the screaming children but I understood from what I witnessed family was helping. read more

As a proud Haitian, I'm so excited 509 Vibes opened in the Pooler area. The inside is nice, the food is delicious, and the staff is kind - but the team restaurant dynamics could use some improvement. To start, the food is so good. Very authentic and full of flavor. The lambi was cooked perfectly, as was the oxtail. The rice portions on the side were small, even if they were sides. IMO there needed to be more rice to complement the sauce based dish options. Each dish included a side of fried plantain, which was a nice surprise! The macaroni au gratin was so good! But a small portion. We ordered a side of cooked cabbage and that was good too. The service could also improve. Im unsure if the restaurant is understaffed or if the staff they have on hand is family with the hospitality sector, but 509 would benefit from some experienced staff. Sadly, there were several mistakes with our order, and it felt like we were forgotten about on more than one occasion. Once we were able to speak to some staff, things were resolved and they were more than happy to help! We didn't receive an itemized receipt, but our total matched our order. We're so happy this place is here and can't wait for Haitian food options. read more

Someone shared 509 Vibes with us, and we're so happy they did! On a recent trip, we passed through Pooler. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the friendliest people! We were seated immediately and ordered the fried snapper, diri djon djon, and griot. Everything was delicious, with the snapper being the star of the show. We highly recommend 509 Vibes!!! read more

This is my first time going here. We go inside and a waitress holding a baby sits us at our seat. We were the only customer's inside. The place was very quiet. The people that worked there were very nice. I ordered a appetizer ( chicken wings). I wasn't going to spend $20-$30 for a lunch. It took 45 minutes for the chicken wings to come out of the kitchen. They brought out my sons plate 5 minutes later instead of bringing them both out at the same time. I was not happy with the chicken wings. They were cooked a little to long, I had to ask for dipping sauce. They only had Ranch, I rather have Blue Cheese.My son got a pork dinner that he enjoyed. We wanted to take our food home that was a good amount and we get 2 small containers that would fit a Big Mac. I will never go back there again. If it takes 45 minutes for the wings to come out and just my son and I there. How long would it take if there were more customer's inside ? read more

Came here 3/13/26, I ordered the stewed goat with rice and plantains, husband got the oxtails, macaroni and rice. Food was top tier, delicious! Bri and staff were fantastic and attentive. I love to see some diverse food in the Savannah/pooler area, and we will definitely be returning! read more
