I had two fillings put in. Overall great work with the two personnel. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I liked that the dentist checked often during drilling to ensure tooth decay was being removed and not healthy tooth parts. The only real complaint I have is that in my previous fillings with other dentists, at the end they used some advanced flossing tool between my teeth, but not at this organization. When I went home, I flossed and had trouble flossing between the teeth with new fillings, for a moment I thought I'd be going back, but it broke free after some effort and I'm fine. Please don't go to 508 dental Lepine is a nightmare. Have never experienced so much pain during dental procedures until Lepine. He does not have the knowledge base perform implants. I ended up on the hospital with an acute infection on 2 IV antibiotics. He is not qualified to do implant procedures. Hands down the best Dentist and staff I've been to and continue to go to. I drive over 1/2 hour to see Dr.Lepine and have been doing this for over 8 years. My hygienist Karen is awesome and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I've had major work done over the years and my mouth is the healthiest it has ever been. If I had taken the time and researched years before I met Dr.Lepine I feel I would have had a much healthier mouth instead of being pushed around, not listened to, or told I had to have the most bizarre things done to my mouth, JAW SURGERY, major gum surgery, etc., hence making me never want to see a dentist. At the end he wants you to sign a contract stating that if balance is not paid in 30 days he will take you to court and charge you 38% more on top of what you owe him! 508 Dentist has caused me more headaches and disappointment than anything in my life. I scheduled a consultation to meet with Dr. Lepine for Veneers as I've wanted them for the longest time (which I expressed how big of a deal this was to me to him during the consultation) When I arrived the front desk people were kind friendly and etc and Dr. Lepine was kind and assured me that everything would be great and I would be over the moon about my teeth and the finished product. The day I received the "prep" for my veneers (a.k.a. shaving down some tooth enamel to make room for the veneers to fit over my teeth) I was not given any numbing agent as I was told "It won't hurt, you won't feel anything as we aren't hitting the roots and etc" I did feel sensitivity and was uncomfortable during the prepping. After that I was not given temporaries as I was told by the person assisting Dr. Lepine that "It's not necessary" and they will "just fall out" So to clarify I was not able to wear temporaries around while my porcelain veneers were crafted in the lab in order to point out things I did not like about them before we peromanately cemented them in. Two weeks later I came back for my final veneers to be placed and this is where it all goes down. I was laid back flat on the dental chair and the veneers were placed in my mouth WITHOUT temporary cement and I was given a mirror to look at my teeth WHILE I WAS LAYING FLAT ON A CHAIR. This obviously didn't give me the chance to sit up straight examine them and really approve them and I felt completely rushed and the whole experience was so uncomfortable and rushed and felt miserable to say the least. Once they were cemented in I had to have in between the teeth "sawed" with a literal mini razor and that was MISERABLE I don't understand how I was NOT given numbing agent before shoving a literal razor in between my teeth up to my gums (yes there was blood and discomfort a lot of it, pain actually) I was then rushed to take pictures and etc for his social media channels and etc and when I went home that day I found MULTIPLE things I HATED about my teeth. I went back a total of FOUR times to have them adjusted. During one appointment my friend had noticed that Dr. Lepine rolled his eyes at me once I kept calling out things I was not happy with. The teeth were uneven and some were longer than others and were not the perfect symmetry I was promised by Dr. Lepine and 508 dentist. I had 8 veneers placed in my mouth and 3 of them have margins and you can see the veneer was not properly placed and or the molds that the person helping Lepine were not accurate as there shouldn't be any spaces or exposed tooth. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TRIPLE CHECKED BY HIM BEFORE CEMENTING THEM IN AND SENDING ME HOME. So to clarify all the issues I had were: My bite was off (he tried to adjust and just didn't hit the nail on the head), My veneers were uneven (to which he told me he "doesn't see what I'm talking about" after repeatedly pointing it out and MULTIPLE of my friends confirming) at this point this is when I decided I wasn't going to get anywhere and called and requested a refund from CRYSTAL at the front office who was incredibly rude I was met with a condescending "I'm not giving you your money back, you agreed and said you liked them and etc" HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO AGREE WHEN I COULDN'T EVEN SIT UP STRAIGHT?! A literal joke this dental office is. Don't let the 5 star reviews, the awards and etc fool you. He sends a MASS text to all of his patients after EVERY visit and asks for a 5 star review to be given for the bare minimum. After I was told I wouldn't be getting a refund I was told my only other option would be for him to "replace the veneers I'm not happy with" I'm sorry but no. I wouldn't let him even give me X-rays at this point. If he botched the job the first time why on earth would I allow this man to touch my mouth again. Ever since I've had these placed I've had sensitivity, they make a clicking noise, they feel like they will fall out and etc. I advise ANYONE to see a different dentist. read more

As s new patient, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the staff and Dr. Lepine were. The facility was updated, clean, and very friendly atmosphere. The hygienist was gentle. I was told by a former dentist that I had 2 cavities and I wanted a second opinion, which is why I went to Dr. Lepine's. I'm glad I did because I didn't have any cavities after all. I have been a patient of Dr Lepine for years. I followed him to Swansea from Cranston with my son and wife. He is very personable and explains everything clearly, his staff are very nice and even remember the little things we discussed at previous visits like where my son was applying to colleges. Dr. Lepine has been my dentist for years as long as he is around I will follow. I chose a dentist by the person not the location so I drive from Johnston RI to Swansea now for my appointments. Be careful with this place. Come to find out they were saying my insurance was not paying as much as they said they were but in reality they were covering all the expenses and this office was just over charging. My insurance is still investigating. I was always getting told something was wrong with my mouth.... Seem like really nice people but not really sure now. read more

Moved recently and went to this office. Was told I needed root canal on two teeth. Went back to old dentist over an hour away and he told me he could see why possibly one tooth would need root canal but not other. He drilled out both teeth and filled them. While I am sure their dentistry work is fine. Be careful and make sure that you get a print out of your expenses after insurance. I went there a while back to get cavities filled and they just took it upon themselves to fill them with the new white fill-in material which is fine, but they did not let me know ahead of time that it would cost me over $400.00 after insurance and that I had the option to go with the silver fill-in material which would have been considerably less. read more

I was new to the area and broke a bridge, so I made an appointment with Dr. Lepine. He wanted to remove implants that I have in place for over 10 years, because he said they were not good and could not be used. He also was going to replace them after he removed them- hm.This was the first dentist that ever suggested that. I then went to an oral surgeon and a regular dentist, I was told not to remove them. He also did not want to write a referral to a oral surgeon and now I know why. (The oral surgeon did not charge me for the consultation which I expected to pay) WOW. Once I requested my x-rays not a week later I received a bill for $155.00. In the end I was grateful and blessed that it cost me 155.00 rather than over 5000.00 worth the work he was going to remove and that he wanted to replace. I suggest that if you require a substantial amount of work get a second opinion. When he finds out you did, expect a bill. I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau as well as the Dental Association. Not to be mean, but to help someone else like myself and maybe even you if your reading this. If your looking for honesty, probably not the place for you. read more
