My biggest piece of advice: don't forget the griddled blueberry muffin. I somehow missed it when we ordered, realized my mistake, and immediately put in a second order. It was absolutely worth it. The biscuit was just as good, huge, fluffy, and basically a meal by itself. The food across the board was exactly what I wanted from a spot like this. The avocado, bacon, and tomato omelet was excellent. I don't usually love tomato, but it added just enough brightness to make the whole thing work. The eggs, grits, and chicken and waffles were all solid in the best possible way. Nothing here is trying to be trendy or overcomplicated. It's just really good diner food served in a place with a ton of character. I'll definitely be back, and next time I'm ordering the muffin first.

On a Saturday morning, my boyfriend and I dined here around 9am. We were lucky to score one of the few parking spots since there isn't many and parking is tight. Upon walking in, I was fairly surprised at the size of the place inside since it looks much smaller from the outside. Service was pretty decent. Not overly personable, but had what we needed. I ordered a scrambled egg plate with patty sausage, home fries, and a blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was my favorite, it was really good. The home fries were less desirable. I wish they were crisper and maybe had onions with them to add more flavor. My boyfriend ordered his breakfast with an extra order of toast and we had to ask our server to bring it out because it was forgotten about. The food could of overall used more seasoning. Also for the quantity and quality, I thought it was very expensive.

We arrived just before 10am on a Saturday, and just beat the rush that lines up outside. This place is popping! Order at the counter and pay to have brought out to you. Beverages are also served to you, and you can request a refill. Very cozy place, and love that separately is the bakery so you can do dining, bakery, or both if you desire. What I Enjoyed: - I'm Not Throwing Away My Shot (Hamilton Menu): This scone was on the Hamilton Menu, which I thought was neat as a I'm a theater nerd. My boyfriend said he enjoyed it as it was not too sweet. The ingredients (white chocolate, raspberry, and blueberry) paired well together, and if we were local, he'd get again. - Oatmeal Cream Pie: This was STUNNING. Yes, all caps needed. I think this was one of my favorite baked goods since my cousin stopped her bakery stand selling the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I hope this is both a staple item, and we visit Orlando soon to get one! Yum! - se7en Benedict: Loved the biscuits as it tasted like a true southern biscuit. Loved the cheddar chive grits that I shared with my boyfriend who also enjoyed. I'd definitely order again! Definitely check out this place if you are in Orlando!

I didn't get to try any of the treats but I do plan to come back to try another menu item and will save room for dessert. Service is so friendly and top notch. Addl star given for the crew. Plenty of parking.

I was glad to have been seated there as on the way out the main dining area was full, loud, and very warm! We had their happy hour special which was a bottle of wine and a cheese platter, which was extremely well plated and had a nice variety! I think we tried everything on the magical dining menu within our group and everyone was very pleased, except the person who ordered the chicken - she felt she could have made it herself at home so it wasn't as worth it to her. Our server wasn't great to be honest, but she tried. She had trouble understanding us,, and we had trouble understanding her. She also seemed extremely anxious, which several of us noticed. It was really off-putting. We were never offered refills or a chance to order a second drink and we were there over two hours. We also had to go and search for her to get our checks after we'd been done eating for at least 20 minutes. This is what adding auto gratuity does unfortunately - it diminishes service. Maxine's charges 18% gratuity regardless of party size and a 4% higher non-cash price. We knew this in advance and decided to go anyway, but I didn't love it. Had a lovely evening with friends, but I don't feel compelled to revisit again soon.

Pretty much the same as all other breakfast/diner chain restaurants in the area. Service was also fair. No concerns, but definitely not the TLC you get at actual diners. Seriously, though, no concerns. Food was also fair. I had an omelet. It was a decent size and had plenty of toppings within. Potatoes were a little bland and not a lot of char on them. They weren't bad, by any means, but they were a little forgettable compared to other breakfast joints on par with Keke. I also for to try a stuffed French toast off of their current seasonal menu, which was kind of the same vibe as the potatoes. Everything tasted fine, but the product was dry. It wasn't actual French toast, and there wasn't enough stuffing to make up for the dryness. I'd skip this one, personally. Overall, this was a pretty good experience. Omelet was good.

The space itself is beautiful, stylish, and has a great upscale atmosphere. Service was also amazing throughout our visit, friendly, attentive, and easily one of the strongest parts of the experience. We started with the rosemary focaccia, and this was easily the highlight of the entire meal. It was delicious and something I would absolutely recommend ordering. Unfortunately, everything after that was a bit of a letdown. The salad had way too much going on for my taste. Between the peas, pistachios, various fruits, and all the other components, there were just too many competing flavors and textures. I appreciate a creative salad, but this one felt overly complicated rather than cohesive. The steak wasn't cooked to my liking, and the portions overall were surprisingly small, especially considering the price point. We also tried the cake for dessert, but it was extremely rich, to the point where a few bites were plenty for me. Overall, 3/5. The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and I would definitely recommend the rosemary focaccia, but it says something when the bread was honestly the highlight of the meal. I'd consider coming back for drinks, focaccia, and the ambiance, but based on this visit, I wouldn't rush back specifically for dinner.
