Some of the best pizzas we experienced in all of Naples! The dough was really light, the produce was super fresh, and it was a fun experience to eat the pizza on the outside patio and watch the hustle and bustle of Napoli fly by. Also, the pizzas run about 9-10 Euros, so the price was right! Definitely recommended if you're in the area and looking to satisfy your pizza craving!

Great pizza. Airy, light. Crazy, but tokyo has them beat. this lacked the ingredient perfection, and the cook on the pizza. the bread had great flavor though. also, the 50 kalo pizza is famous, but i wouldnt get it again. essentially, vegeterian pizza. oh, but each pizza is 10 dollars which is so good.

If you have before or after, it was really nice walking through the park and asking the water. 50 Kalo isn't really close by Napoli Céntrale, the bus also doesn't have a/c, but I think it's worth the trip. We got there around 7PM on Monday and there was plenty of seating, but as the night progressed it started filling up and it was pretty crowded in the front when we left.. I thinking The pizza actually reminded me of some of the Neapolitan pizzas in the US. Very chewy crust and a little wet, not in bad way. It is on the pricier end for Napoli pizza apparently. I quite enjoyed my pizza, it was pretty heavy on the cream, so if you are lactose intolerant, definitely take the lactaid. I do wish there was a bit more greens on mine. Overall the food was pretty good and there was a quite a line when we were leaving. We had ordered a glass of wine - 9€, 2 pizzas (15€ & 13€) and a sparking water 2.5 or 3€.

My husband and I walked 30 minutes to get here while staying in Naples and it was so worth the walk! We took the scenic route and the views on the way were beautiful! When we arrived, there was a line outside before they opened, which we were nervous about, but we were seated right away! The wine was perfect, and the pizza we ordered came out quickly! It was a delicious, traditional, Neapolitan pizza, with a fluffy crust and a thin middle. A classic Italian pizza that I would highly recommend traveling for. We sat by the road and were able to people watch and enjoy our pizza together.

One of the most popular pizza restaurants in Naples! Authentic Italian Pizza at its best!

Frittatina di bucatini

Came here after hearing so many good things, and it was indeed a very good experience, albeit not quite 5 star quality. Frittatina di bucatini (€2.50) - This little ball of fried pasta was a unique dish, at least for me, which I enjoyed. It was fried on the outside yet still soft and creamy on the inside. Ripieno fritto classico (€9.50) - This was essentially a fried calzone, and it was gigantic! It literally barely fit on the place, although upon closer examination, there was actually a lot of air inside. Still, it was a very large portion size. It was pretty tasty too with some typical calzone ingredients. The restaurant has lots of seating both outside and inside, and I did not have any wait for a table for weekday dinner. It's a pretty nice environment and the staff are very friendly and attentive (there are lots of them walking around checking on people). The service speed was fast too. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at 50 Kalo and would recommend it, particularly to anyone interested in the fried/normal pizzas (there are lots of options to choose from).

This was one of the best pizzas I've had in my entire life! Am I another American tourist who has bad taste? Maybe. But pizza is my favorite food so I live and die by it, and this one is worth dying for. I've never had a pizza that made me feel things in my soul like this one. The buffalo mozzarella was so creamy that it was almost like a sauce and the spicy pepperoni had the most beautiful kick. There is pizza on every corner in Italy, especially in Napoli. But this is the place you MUST visit no matter what!

First Pizza in Napoli. The good here is definitely an expression of the city: vibrant and tasty. The service is amicable bit can get lost and forgetful when it gets busy (don't we all). We sat al fresco and got to watch the world wiz by on foot, in cars and on scooters. This place definitely lives up to the online remarks and local recommendations!

Worth the hype! After getting this recommended from so many people, we knew we had to stop by. Yes you have to put your name down and wait but honestly the time flew by. You're just a part of the Naples energy at that point. The pizzas themselves are so freakin good! The crust is exactly what you're looking for in a solid Neapolitan style pizza. I had the Potato and Provola which was like a mashed potato sauce with smoked Mozzarella. It's for sure one to try. If you're in Naples, get a Taxi and go here!

At #7 world and #4 of the best Neapolitan pizza in Italy, 50K is consistently solid pizza. The quality is top notch, service is quick, and there is not a pizza on the menu that can't meet your desire to come back and keep trying more. You want burrata, they have; salami, they have; or just plain Margherita. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the interior is nice but not so fancy. Everyone is welcome. They don't take reservations as many reviewers point out, so recommend going as soon as they open or closing time. Otherwise, put your name on the list and enjoy the scooters passing by. It is indeed worth it.

Bufala pizza

The service here is absolutely awful. From start to finish it was rude, cold and inattentive. There's a wait here always because they claim not to take reservations. Yet somehow, only certain people are able to sit inside. If it's first come, first serve then it will be possible for anyone to sit outside or inside. The hostess in charge of the wait yelled at us for even asking to sit inside. We waited for 30 min. A few people came and didn't even have to wait. They just went right inside. Strange for a place that doesn't take reservations. Seems like they favor locals and their friends. Most importantly! The pizza is not good or remarkable enough to make up for the service. I thought maybe it'll all be worth it for the pizza. But it's very basic Neapolitan pizza. You can find it in every city in Italy. No need to waste one's time and come here. No clue why on earth it's so popular. Better pizza is easy to find. The sauce was bland and lacking. Crust was typical. Bufala was thick and chewy.

The pizza I ate at 50 Kalo was definitely in the top 5 pizzas I've ever had. Delicious dough, flavored products, professional and friendly staff. My party of 8 went on a Monday evening and didn't have to wait at all. The pizza was fantastic, but the pistachio cheesecake was out of this world. I would call it more like a cream pie, but it was still so amazing. Everyone should absolutely try the pizza and desserts here!

Ramin A.

This place is rated as a top pizza joint in all of Naples. They have a lively outdoor patio and very nice indoor seating. The service is great and quick. The food is remarkable. Easily the best pizza I've ever had in my life!

Yelp Review #25 (2026)…read more Visited in June 2026. There are two lines when arriving. There is a to go line that's pretty short, an a dine in ticket line that you receive from the employee by the entrance. If you visit their museum to learn about the history of Antica, then your indoor seating is expedited. After the museum, we sat down and ordered our delicious pizza. They offer four different types of pizza.

Yes, it's a legend. No, it is absolutely not worth it…read more In the touristy area of any Italian city, you know the food is likely to be mediocre and that they're going to rip you off either a little or a lot. That's not just a rule in Naples, it's a hobby. I'm not sure why I ignored my usual skepticism, but I did and I'm sorry. This place rests on the legend that its pizza is somehow magical, as demonstrated by the purity of its insistence on making only four kinds of pie. That's easy to do when 90% of the people who spend money there live in Australia or something, and you're never going to see them again. In other words, who cares about repeat business? The pizza is: undercooked, soggy, and swimming in oil. You've had better. Not in the U.S., but definitely in Italy. The waiters and cashier are grumpy and rude. Hordes of tourists probably make them that way, but if that can't be a minimum of polite in dealing with the public, that's a great reason to find another job. The topper came after I paid my bill. (By the way, the pizza price of €6,50 sounds great, right? But add a bottle of water and the cover charge, and now it's 14€.) In any event, as I turn to leave, the furbo at the register essentially orders me to leave a tip. "It's not on the bill, so you have to leave the tip separately," he says. Now, I know there's no tipping in Italy, and I wouldn't have tipped for THAT service anywhere else on planet Earth. But I was so flabbergasted and embarrassed--he and another employee were literally staring at me to see what I'd do--that I meekly walk back to the table and plop down a 2€ coin. So then it was a 16€ lousy experience. I shouldn't have done it. And you shouldn't be bullied by snippy waiters who serve you crummy pizza. There are more pizzerias in Naples than there are traffic lights. Go find one where they want to earn your business.

In reading the other reviews, there can be long waits here, and I can certainly understand why. Even in a city with so many pizza spots, this one stands out in the very best way. I also wanted to address a misconception. Multiple reviews here mention how the pizza is doughy in the center. Proper Napoli pizza is supposed to be this consistency. It's supposed to be runny and doughy in the middle, so they 100% do that right at this place. Also, it will not be sliced; you are to cut it yourself. We lucked out not having to wait. We went to Gino e Toto Sorbillo (which is supposed to be the original restaurant) and sat in the horseshoe. Our server Francesco was fantastic, giving great recommendations and being friendly and welcoming. We shared the margheritta bufala DOP and diavolla. Both were excellent! I preferred the margheritta whereas my husband preferred the diavolla. I am convinced that you really can't go wrong here though. The pizza dough itself had great elasticity while also having a thin yet light, fluffy, and airy crust. Apparently, they ferment the dough for 48 hours. The difference is striking. The pomodoro Italiano sauce is also so simple yet tasty and well seasoned. For me, the saltiness of the salame in the diavolla overpowered the delicious other flavors of the pizza, but it was still tasty. My husband loved that one though. In my opinion, this place has achieved pizza perfection, and I literally cannot imagine how anyone could make a better or more perfect pizza. Overall, this is a great casual spot, and I would not hesitate to come here during my next visit to Naples...even one hour would be worth the wait.

Multiplie locations exist, six in Naples, three on the same street! At first I wondered if it was a "Ray's Pizza" situation* though turns out they are all legitimately related, arising from the success of the pizzeria opened in by Gino Sorbillo. Aside from Naples they have locations in several other Italian cities (Rome, Milan, Bergamo, Turin, Bologna, Padua, and Genoa), even a location on Tokyo. This specific location where the pin is dropped on the Yelp map is for Gino e Tito Sorbillo, eponymously named for the now famous pizza chef and his brother, and the nicer sit-down version of the restaurant.** This is the original shop where it all began, and the business' historical headquarters. Outside, you'll see a couple paper cutouts of the chef, with a chef's coat and a smile. The unwavering popularity of their pizza is undeniable--one look at the crowds outside this storefront and it's immediately apparent. Be prepared as the wait is not for the faint-hearted or the extremely hungry. Luckily I had a snack before arriving (see separate review for Sfogliatelle Mary). 9:05pm: I arrived to a semi-circular crowd centered around the doorway of Gino e Tito Sorbillo. Headed up the hostess stand and she said 20-25 minutes so I figured why not. 9:30pm: the crowd around the door seems to have increased, at least stayed the same, a handful of parties were called up. I realize now that the hostess gives everyone the same estimate. Watching many parties that were there when I arrived--they are still waiting too. 9:50pm: I'm considering leaving at this point since there's significant second-hand smoke from multiple people smoking outside, though the crowd of people in front of the restaurant is going strong. 10:00pm: I go up to the stand and ask how much longer the wait will be, she says "oh you're a single diner right? I forgot, let me check." 10:05pm: she calls my name and ushers me inside. I'm seated at bar table seating at a window which works for me. Staff is quick to pass a menu, and take an order. 10:20pm the wait for the pizza after ordering was faster than expected. It only took about 7-8 minutes. Getting to the pizza--if you look up the definition of a Neapolitan style pizza, this is it! Served straight outta the oven as an entire pie, extremely thin, saucy in the middle, floppy base though evenly leopard-spotted on the bottom and the crust, pillowy and airy crust with a slightly crisp exterior. The tomato sauce was very fresh, and I loved the varying texture of the dough, great baked/slightly charred flavor. I got the Antonio which included regionally sourced cherry tomatoes, olives, capers, anchovies, basil. While I love both ingredients, the fish and capers together unfortunately were way too salty, I had to pick off some of these. Also I have to say as the pizza cooled, the room temp saucy dough wasn't quite as appealing as when it was hot. lol so if you consume it quickly it'll be fine! The serving size was also very generous, see pic with my hand next to the pie, I couldn't finish it in the end! Staff was quite friendly overall and I appreciated that they didn't pack the house or rush diners inside even with so many people waiting. That being said it was still pretty busy so you'll have to flag them down. After the meal, bring your bill up to the register to pay. *if you're familiar with NYC you'll know there are about 20 different Ray's Pizzas all claiming to be the original, which one is real? no one knows... **The other two locations on the same street are more casual, one is a takeout spot probably to handle the overflow from the main restaurant.
