While they did complete the sewage repair, they damaged our irrigation system--including the pipes and all corresponding valves--in the process (~6000$ job). Because it was winter, we couldn't test the irrigation at the time. Before leaving, they told us to call them in the summer if we had any issues when starting it up. When summer came and the irrigation system wouldn't start, we called them--only to be told that their contract says they're not responsible for any damage to irrigation systems. Now we're stuck with a $1,200 repair bill and a lawn that's suffering because it hasn't been watered properly. This experience has been incredibly frustrating. We trusted their word, but were met with fine print (to be more exact: "landscaping is homeowner responsibility" which apparently means they can not be held responsible for anything other than what was visible) and zero accountability.

They put two new high end AC units in my new house about 3 years ago through my contractor and last summer one of them stopped working. They came by and charged me $69 for an estimate which is fine and said I had an freon leak in one of the units. He gave me an estimate of $2,300 to fix the leak because he said it's out of warranty. They came back a few days later and after working on it said that I needed a new unit and it can't be repaired and said it's 12 thousand to replace it with a similar one. I said why did you say you would fix it for $2,300 when all you did for $2,300 is tell me I have a leak which I already knew. I Called Carrier and they said I had a 10 year warranty on it. I Called them and they said they didn't know that. A certified Carrier company was trying to sell me a new unit with a 10 year warranty but didn't know a unit they sold me 3 years ago had warranty. Well they ended up getting the new coil under warranty but charged me $3,400 for labor. I called another company Golden West to get a second opinion and they told me where they thought the condenser leak was but they would charge me $1200 to do the test. Well since I was already working with Ultimate I had them go ahead with the work. I told the technician about what the other company said and he said he tested the system and the leak was in the outside and not inside. I trusted them and paid the $3,400 but it wasn't fixed until December so I had no reason to turn it on. Well summer comes and I start getting the same error message about the leak. I called them and they sent another technician out. I told him everything that happened and he goes in my house and in 15 minutes says the leak is exactly where the other company said it was and he didn't understand how the last guy could have missed it. Well he calls his boss and they tell me it's going to cost another $2,400 to fix it and the last guy did nothing wrong. So I spent $8000 to fix a leak and 7 months of working with them and got absolutely nothing out of it. This is a company with absolutely no integrity. I own a company too and when my employees mess up I take care of the customer because it's the right thing to do.

The tech that came out, while punctual and respectful, didn't appear to focus on and provide a suitable solution for my specific needs (I was quoted for a small expansion tank to add - something outside the water heater that was making noises / having the issue). After getting advice from others, I would have had to spend more time and money as the expansion tank would not have solved the issue. Quick response and quote, but not really what I was specifically looking / needing. Not to say I wouldn't consult them in the future for other, more general repair needs.

They explained what they found and were able to get me cleaned up and flowing again quickly. Older home with a cast iron drain that now looks amazing for being over 50 years old. DO NOT USE ELITE ROOTER!! I would give them zero stars if I could. I had a collapsed sewer line in…read moremy yard and they were the only company that said they could come out right away. I was desperate because my house was under contract and I need the work done quickly. They quoted me $14,000 and said it was because they would have to dig 12-15 feet. After digging all day, they couldn't find the pipe and left. They did not communicate with me what was wrong and did not show up the next day. I called all the numbers and was only able to leave a message. They showed up the third day and realized the pipe was 2 feet over from where they dug. They installed new pipes. Then they said they needed to dig another 10 feet to fix more pipe and it would be another $14,000, and then they left again! I called another plumber and they said that Elite not only needed to dig more because they installed the pipes incorrectly and needed to fix their error, but the hole was only 9 feet deep, which was a standard size. Needless to say I put a stop work order. The new plumber is doing the entire job for $9,200!! Elite Rooter took advantage of me. They lied about everything! Do not use them. I've left several messages for management and they have never called back. They are scam artists just trying to rip people off. Fortunately, I was wise to it and got out on time!
