I wasn't sure about this service at first. Trying a business out for the first time can be risky,…read moreand something as expensive as a full auto detailing requires a leap of faith that can cost a lot of money if you're wrong. Luckily for me, however, I was NOT wrong when I decided to give My Detail Guys a try. The first step was making an appointment, which was so very easy. I simply went to their website and clicked the link for making appointments. The website was easy to use, not overly busy or complicated, and walked me through the appointment-making process without a single problem. I even got confirmation e-mails regarding my appointment almost immediately after making it. I LOVE an organized business! Unfortunately, I did not get the names of the two gentlemen who showed up to detail our HHR, but they were promptly on time and were very polite and pleasant. Our driveway is very short, so they asked if I could move the car to the street in front rather than having their truck block our alleyway. I thought that was very considerate of them. You're probably asking, "But how was their work?" Quite frankly, my car has not looked that good since it was brand new. Believe me when I tell you that it was a MESS before these fine folks got to work. My husband drives the car to work every day, a round trip of approximately 80 miles a day. He has managed to spill sodas all over the seats and cup holders, another time a friend accidently dropped some chocolate chips while eating trail mix and they melted into the passenger seat. There were french fries lost in the depths, and a TON of dirt and mud from rainy days performing out at Scarborough Faire. It was NOT pretty, and the various French Fries of Doom had begun permeating the car with a horrid smell. Since the Husbeast had to go out of town for a business trip, I decided to surprise him with a pretty, clean car when he got back. The two fine gentlement cleaned EVERYTHING. They scrubbed the upholstery and managed to get almost all of the stains out of it. They cleaned the cup holders, the carpet, the gear shifter, the track the gear shifter works on, the vents, the dash...you name it, and it was gone over with cleaning solution and q-tips! The outside was washed and polished, and looks beautiful as it sparkles in the sun now. I suspect that I will probably get quite grumpy the first time something is spilled in there or mud splashes on the outside. I cannot recommend these folks more highly. I was more than happy to pay the trip charge for being outside their regular service zone ($25) for the quality of service that I received. Even with all of the work that they did and the trip charge and an extra $10 for the Odor Bomb (just in case), it still came in under $200 which is less than I would have paid if I'd taken it to a brick and mortar car detailing shop. I am already planning on putting money aside to have them come back and detail our other vehicle. If you're doubtful, don't be. Go ahead and have them come detail your vehicle. They are EXCELLENT!

I can not recommend JD Automotive Service.  It's not a review I want to write because I really like…read morethe people there.   However, the quality of service they provided was terrible and unsafe.  I had work done there multiple times over several months before noticing problems.  I have absolutely no trust in this shop and would never use them again. The last repair done was two engine oil leaks based on their inspection and recommendation.  The long story short version is that one leak wasn't fixed after after 3 trips back they deflected the issue (can't tell where it's coming from/ maybe it's a new leak/ try an after market stop leak additive) and did not stand behind their warranty. Even worse, I also had shocks installed on the front end.  They did a bad install on both Shocks and used cheap shocks with old rusted bolts.  On one of them, they didn't install all the hardware.  They also didn't put back the wheel well cover so that's gone.  In the end, the Shock actually came loose and was making a metal clinking noise as it hit other metal parts.  The shock itself was destroyed from banging around.   I  drove my truck in that unsafe condition until I found the issue.  Knowing I no longer trusted this shop I didn't care about a warranty or even considered allowing them to work on my vehicle again.  I decided to get two new Shocks put on.  I'm so glad I did two because when they took the "good" one off with all the hardware, they found out it was over tightened and was also messed up so they were both bad. My first repair there was having my front end suspension work and after the issues I've found after that repair I am really concerned that any of their work was done correctly.  It sucked having to replace the Shocks so soon after getting them put on the first time, but I'm glad it didn't do any further damage to my truck.  It could have been much worse. It was definitely a mistake using this shop. I paid them a lot of money and I learned my lesson the hard way.

Dear Pignatelli Team,…read more I had my car dropped off at your location for repairs following an accident. When it was delivered to you, the front end was fully assembled, and both headlights were present and undamaged. After I was unable to accept the other insurance company's low settlement offer (they deemed it a total loss), I arranged for the same towing company to pick up my vehicle and return it to my home. The vehicle was not drivable, so it remained in my garage until today when my insurance adjuster came to inspect it. To my shock, several major components are now missing, including the radiator, condenser, compressor, and both headlights--each worth approximately $2,500. When I visited your office today, Joseph stated that all parts were "given to the towing company" but there was no paperwork documenting what was handed over, and there are no cameras showing this transaction. This is unacceptable. My car arrived intact, and it was your responsibility to ensure it was returned in the same condition. If the tow company "forgot" the parts, where are they now? Why were the headlights even listed on your repair estimate if they were never damaged? From my perspective, these parts have been stolen while under your custody or during the release process. I entrusted your business with my vehicle, and it has been returned missing thousands of dollars' worth of components. I expect a prompt and thorough explanation of what happened to my property and how this will be resolved. Sincerely,
