Customer service was great. He didn't take advantage of us. Same day service. Reasonably priced.

My vehicle was side swiped (shoutout to Abbey and Sentry insurance for handling my claim). Sentry allowed me to use the repair provider of my choice. I chose Windus because they were closest. James and crew at Windus did a great job. When I retrieved my vehicle after the repairs, there were problems with the cross traffic and lane changing indicator on the repaired door and other problems that may or may not have been related to the collision. James worked with me, went above and beyond to correct the issues. I hope I never need collision repair again, but if I do, I'll take my vehicle to Windus. Their charges are reasonable and their service is exceptional. read more

Absolutely hands down the best, most effective and friendliest staff I've ever met. Upon my initial call I was immediately greeted by Mike who had given me a rundown of the process and given a drop off date, upon drop off, Mike was kind and knowledgeable. My lift gate and sensors had to be replaced and Windus staff did it greatly and in a great time frame. Throughout the time of my car being here, James communicated and touched base at least 3x a week. Highly recommend this place!!! read more

I called this company to assess hail repair damage. The first time he said he'd call back and never did. When we called again, not only did the guy tell me he can't give estimates unless he works directly with the insurance company, he gave me some BS about why that didn't even make sense. Then when I told him "we're just looking for an estimate to repair the damage, you can't do that?" He said "not unless you're getting it repaired through the insurance company." Our car is old and we want to take the money, pay for the estimate and put the rest towards a new car. Is that a crime? I said, "well, I guess I'll call a auto body shop that can give me an estimate to fix my auto body ". So maybe he really can't and I just don't understand cause I've never had hail damage before. What would you expect a professional to do? Maybe "ok sir, sorry we couldn't help you today. If you change your mind please feel free to call back". This guy just hung up on my mid-sentence. They're after a quick buck. Apparently this "auto body shop" isn't looking to help customers with their auto body needs. read more

The individual that I was talking with had a very bad attitude towards me. first of all he asked me is insurance involved with the work. I said no I'm paying cash then he had a smart remark and this is quite expensive like I can't afford it. his name was Mike windus. I don't recommend this business. read more

James from this location scheduled an appointment for the car to be dropped off for repair and recommended rental car companies nearby which picked me up and also, through out kept me updated about the repairs...they did an EXCELLENT job by replacing damaged bumper with a brand new bumper and my car looks NEW as seen in the attached pic....very pleased with their great customer friendly service and would highly recommend!!! read more

There is not a better body shop in the DFW area, in my opinion. I had some terrible damage to my car--and I have been ripped off by a body shop here in town previously, so I am picky and a little gun shy. James is amazing--and so is Mike! They are completely honest, you can trust everything they tell you. I cannot tell you how gorgeous my car looks. After the damage to my door and quarter panel (door wouldn't even open), I just knew I would have to "live with" it not looking quite right. Boy, was I wrong--my car looks just as good as when I drove it off the lot. I was kept updated the whole time and everything was explained to me in a way I could understand, but I was never talked down to--if you are like me and have been taken advantage of (especially being female and not knowing a lot about body work so it's easy to snow me), please just go here and you won't have to worry. James took great care of my husband and I! After a deer ran into my SUV, we were stuck with only one vehicle for a month and literally had to carpool for at least three weeks. We didn't have coverage for a rental car because our State Farm policy didn't offer reimbursement for a rental following the collision. James was able to get us in at our convenience over the holidays, while my husband was off of work, which saved us a lot of trouble! They called me with updates every few days and my SUV was in pristine condition after receiving it back. I will never go anywhere else after this great experience. Terrible service! It took over a month to fix and once the insurance started complaining, they finally started. Once I received it back, gaps were off everywhere and cowlings were missing, they didn't replace one of the tires that was covered and refused to give me a receipt -- when asked they gave me a copy of the estimate. What worries me is if they were this lackadaisical about the appearance of the car, were they also with the safety equipment?? Frustrated because I checked reviews online (Google, yelp, angieslist) prior to taking it here and all were positive. read more

By far the smoothest step in the collision process. The front office (James) has superior customer service and the crew does superior work.
