I stumbled upon The Gentlemen's Barbershop in Auburn and I've never looked back. I have loved the experience so much I started getting my haircut every two weeks. I get my haircut by James. He is so personable, remembers the details about what you talk about, and does some of the cleanest fades. If you have an idea, specific style, or look you're trying to achieve - this is the place. Just make sure to book online because walk-ins fill up fast! However, now they have Kelly, another amazing barber, who can help out if you can't book an appointment. Just be sure to call!

I have been coming here for a few months now and Bri is my girl! She knows my style and what I need done to my hair. Although they don't take reservations, I have called when I'm ready and put my name on the list and only had to wait no more than 10 minutes before Bri could see me. She does an outstanding job, and, after using her for a few months now, she knows just what to do to make it right. My four year old son has been here too and, although I don't remember who cut his hair, it came out great. So, with that in mind, I am very particular with my hair and who cuts it and I am completely satisfied with Champ Cuts and, especially, Bri. If only they would take reservations for return, loyal customers. Who knows, maybe that will be in the works for the future.

Understandable after COVID and cost of living and operating any business in California, USA. If you call 15 minutes ahead of time they'll put your name on the list, but they Do NOT set appointments. Walk-ins only. Haircut quality is usually about a 3 outta 5. Vibe is 5 outta 5. I love all the ladies there. Very down to earth and friendly. They do hustle to keep it moving, so that extra attention you'll get from a $50 barber shop cut isn't there. I get a zero mid to high fade. You get your moneys worth and it feels like your family there. I usually tip generously $10 on top of $19 for a grand total of $29. Doing this helps the next time I come in for a lil extra attention to detail. Overall 4 outta 5 stars for Champ Cuts. Well done. See you next time. -E
