OK - Here is the deal. If you plan to rent an RV GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. or if you have already scheduled with Five Corners RV, CANCEL IT. This is probably one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. To make a long story short here are the details, planned a Labor Day weekend getaway for the Dave Matthews concert at the Gorge. We had to get towed into the camp grounds..... 1. Picked up RV (Beat up Van with well over 100k miles on it and it showed) 2. Started driving to Gorge and after about an hour it DIED 3. Called the "owner:" and he said "What would you like me to do about it" 4. Called my own tow truck and told the Owner of F Corners that I had scheduled a tow truck his response was classic "Can you just go ahead and get it fixed.....". Mind you this was Labor Day weekend, I am on my way to a concert and the van I just paid over 1k for just broke down...... 5. We got towed into the camp grounds and figured we would simply sleep in the RV and use the amenities.... no gonna happen 6. Batteries all died and then no water pump or AC 7. Called owner every two hours to get help and no answer 8. At night the carbon mono sensors went off every ten minutes (such a peaceful night) 9. We left a day early because of this mess and when I arrived at the lot with the RV on the tow truck the "owner" came running outside asking "What happened???" It took everything in my power to remain calm but I did for some strange reason. It is now 6 week later and I barely got my refund back for the RV rental and my deposit. Funny how they can take your money within minutes but when it comes to getting it back the "bank" always takes longer. Plus it took me approx. 10 phone call reminders to get my refund because apparently the owner doesn't know how to do anything except tell you what he CANT do for his customers. Don't rent an RV from these people! Rent a tent and drive your car, I wish I had! First off the RV's are in horrible condition. They are in gross negligence for allowing people to rent these and put them on the road. They charge more money than the national RV rental companies too. My RV had dirty carpet and fabric, one chair was covered in towels to hide the holes in it. I was told there was an engine battery and a house battery, so I shouldn't worry about running the system without an electrical plug in. WRONG, we drained the engine battery. The generator worked but wasn't plugged in to the system so we had no power. The RV did not drive well and was incredibly scary to drive due to the shape of the suspension, steering, etc. To top all of this off, i had to call multiple times to get my deposit refunded and then they kept $260 for so called additional cleaning. I didn't know this until I requested they send me an invoice stating what the additional cost was for. This took two months! When I found out that it was for cleaning I challenged them and they told me their cleaning crew had to spend an additional three hours to clean the RV. What a joke! I challenged them again and was told they would look into it. After having to send two more e-mail to get a response they finally returned my full deposit. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They will assuredly attempt to take your deposit on some made-up baloney. Only when threatened with civil action will they return your deposit. It's happened to me once and to a traveling companion as well. And good luck returning it on a Sunday - what they don't tell you is that they aren't officially open...I waited an hour and a half for somebody to let us return the keys (and get back our friggin' cars in order to go home). Where to start. First, The RV rented was not available for our weekend. We had to settle for a smaller RV. Second, Right Wing propaganda all over in the main office. I respect your beliefs but I don't need to see sexist remakes about Hillery and Confederate Flags. Third, on the way to the camp site, 5 miles down the road, driving on International Boulevard in Des Moises, the rear generator falls out and drags down the street until I can finds a side street to pull over in. I called 5 corners and he said he'd be right there. By the time he showed up (an hour and half later) I already had the generator disconnected and just about out of the RV. He helped me remove it and drag it to the edge of the street. Fourth, After being stuck in traffic (because of the hour and half delay) we got to the camp site and the holding tank gauge on RV didn't work. As soon as I out about a gallon of gray water the gauge read full. Fifth, And this is the most trouble some to me... After the return I called about the damage deposit. I was told to call back later because So and So was not there. I finally got a hold of her and she said she would be returning the charge back to my card in about a week. I waited a week after the date she gave me and no refund. I called again. Same speal "So and So is not here call back". Finally got a hold of her again and she acted surprised and said she'll rerun it. About two months after the rental return I finally got my $500 back. If I hadn't added a reminder on calendar I would have been out the damage deposit too. P.S. They did not want to give me a break on the rental fees because of the falling generator. Disappointed, we should have checked Yelp first. We had several calls with this business before the trip, we were promised a brand new 38' 2016 RV with slide outs and a TV, we ended up with a 2003 34' RV with no slide outs and no TV. The water pump is broken, there was a broken window screen that was held together with duct tape. We paid extra for linens and dishes, dishes were dirty and the sheets were very old and worn. Several parts of the furniture were broken and had been previously repaired but quickly came apart in the first couple of days. The whole dashboard was not attached, had clearly been replaced poorly, the radio didn't work at all, it didn't look like there was an airbag but I can't confirm this. Orientation was very spotty, had a hard time describing all the functions of the RV. A few positives - the queen bed was very comfortable, fridge and stove worked well and there was plenty of storage. They gave us free use of 6 camp chairs. Plenty of outlets. read more

BEWARE!!! Horrible is all there is to say. RV broke down on day 2 of our trip and when mechanic looked at it he couldn't believe the condition it was in. Even after it was "repaired" we still had problems with it and had to return it early. The folks that run this place do not care and acted surprised that we had issues. They even gave us a problem returning our security deposit and money for unused miles. Had to call credit card company and file a dispute. This place will take you for a ride and not an enjoyable one to say the least. Go somewhere else... Go anywhere else.. You will NEVER get your deposit back unless you call them multiple times a week and harass them. We left our RV clean and took great care of it and we have yet to get our deposit back 6 weeks later. They keep on telling us they're doing it today or tomorrow and it never happens. Crappy RVs and I have no idea when we will get our deposit back, but if we have to get a lawyer or have the local channel 5 news team reporters call and report them and get them on TV for how they're running they're business I'll do it. read more

My friends and I recently rented a 28' RV from 5 corners and it ended up being a piece of work. Within 7 hours of having it we ran out of water, the generator didn't turn on and the cheap curtains wouldn't role up. We had to pack our campsite up because we wanted to fill up our fresh water tank and sure enough about 12 hours later our toilet flooded and our fresh water was empty again! I called the rental place and they did not apologize and said they couldn't do anything until I returned it. There is no way 4 people went through 50 gallons of water when we didn't even shower there. When I did there was still NO apology and they kept trying to blame it on us. Not only were they unsympathetic that we rented an RV and had neither toilet nor running water they were rude and did not return my phone calls. You could not pay me to rent one of their RV's ever again. read more

FIVE CORNERS RV RENTAL: Disgusting, dirty, filthy, the RV they showed us smelled like mold the cushions and fabric was all torn up the carpet was beyond disgusting and they were parked so close together like in a junkyard where we couldn't even get in without squeezing into the vehicle I would not rent a vehicle from them if they were the last place of earth.. and the girl at the counter was sarcastic and quite rude. I honestly cannot believe that they are still in business the place looks like a freaking junkyard. And their vehicles look like they belong there.. they wanted to charge us $1400 for a piece of freaking crap for four days and then we would have to pay for gas as well at $.33 a gallon.. Heed this warning... STAY AWAY!! They replied asking if we addressed this with the owner.. addressed what? That their business looks like a total POS? After reading some of the reviews on here I felt compelled to write one myself based on our experience with our rental over the Labor Day weekend 2016 (Aug 31-Sep 5). Unlike these people that seem to want to complain about every little thing, we had a very positive experience with them. We made a reservation with 5 corners back in January 2016 for our annual Labor Dave trip to he Gorge. After driving twice previously from Southern California we decided to fly into Seattle and rent a RV this year. We chose 5 Corners due to their close location to the airport with free pickup as well as having kitchen and bedding kits available. There was absolutely no hassle with making the reservation, paying our deposit and getting everything set up. They even made sure to let me know that our auto insurance company initially sent them the wrong information so we could get everything in order before our trip. After arriving in SeaTac on August 31st we called 5 Corners and provided them with our location at the terminal and were picked up very promptly. After a short drive we arrived at the lot and got all the rental paperwork squared away. We were clearly told that the rental included a sanitary dump when we returned the RV and that our deposit minus the sanitation fee would be returned in 15 business days. These people that have written reviews claiming they were not told this or claiming they had to dump their sewage tank apparently were not listening. After completing our rental paperwork we had a very thorough walkthrough of both the inside and outside of the RV. They made sure that everything was in working order including renewing the registration earlier in the day. Yes it was an older RV and we noticed some cosmetic flaws but that didn't matter or bother us. During the walkthrough they noticed there was not enough bedding kits for all of us (5 people) and took care of it immediately. We had everything we needed in both the bedding kits as well as the kitchen kits. The linens, pots, pans, dishes etc were all clean. We were shown how to check the the fresh water, gray water and propane levels. The stove and oven were in good working order and the fridge kept everything nice and cold. Before we left the lot I asked what to do if we had any issues. I was clearly told that should we encounter any problems at all to call the number that was listed on the top of of rental contract and a technician would be sent out. On the drive both to the Gorge and back to Seattle we had absolutely no issues with the engine, drivetrain or brakes and all the lights worked as they should. The wipers were in good working order, the windows were clean and clear and all mirrors were clear. For the people that complain apparently they expect a RV to drive like their own personal vehicle. You are driving a RV not a sports car. It handles a lot different and the ride is not as smooth as in your daily driver which is to be expected. But it ran and ran well. The RV had an air conditioner that also worked well the few times we had it on during the day while we were at our campground. We returned the RV on Monday September 5. Even though it was Labor Day and they were closed I was given clear instructions as what to do when I returned the RV. I parked it on the street as instructed and put the keys in the key drop. Our deposit, again minus the afore mentioned sanitation fee, was in our bank account on October 11th. Again we had nothing but a positive experience with 5 Corners. People need to keep in mind that they are a small, local business and not a big corporate entity like Cruise America. People need to take the negative reviews on here with a grain of salt. A majority of them are from years ago. The others just sound like they came from people that find little things to bother them and think the entire experience is negative. If 5 Corners was as bad as all these people have claimed they are why are they still in business? I highly recommend 5 Corners if you are looking to rent a RV in the Seattle area and will rent from them again on our next Labor Dave weekend. read more

Don't believe a word the owner says. Don't give him your credit card. Don't rent an rv....and especially don't ask him to repair anything! If the owner of 5 corners rv had any money at all i would sue him... Unfortunately it cost be $30,000 to find out what a scam artist the owner is. My first mistake was trusting him to convert my Winnebago View to a second grooming vehicle, Since he did a good job repairing my first grooming van.,,,,I wrongly assumed he could handle the work. He also promised it wouldn't cost me more than $20,000. I wanted 2 things done. I wanted a generator installed that would run two high powered hair dryers and plumbing installed with a tub to wash the dogs. He did a lot of other superficial stuff as well but not integral to my business needs. 5 months later (he told me it would take 2) he returns the rv , I even paid him 50% more than he stated the cost to be.........I was so glad to finally get it back.!! And ever since getting the vehicle back, the plumbing hasn't worked and the tub even collapsed in the middle of a groom! The electrical circuits kept blowing out every time I used just one hair dryer.... Its already cost me $5,000 to fix some of the damage he has done to my vehicle. To top it all off he installed the electrical in the same hole as the plumbing!!!!! When I asked him about this he denied knowing anything about it. The plumbing leaked from the moment I got it back. An electrician said I was lucky the RV didn't explode. When I spoke to him about all of this, he said bring it in and I will fix the problems. I said "only if I stand over you and watch what you do" and he responded "thats ok" This guy should be put out of business!!!!!!! I'll probably take him to small claims court just for the satisfaction of seeing him squirm. I'd say for the money but I'm pretty sure he's broke. read more

I had a very bad experience with them and would strongly advise not do your business with them. I rented two RVs and I was charged for cleaning initially and was told that it includes both external as well as internal. But when I retured the RV, after 2 weeks these people send me a statement with $230 charges for cleaning. When I went and talked to them they werent ready to talk and just denied that the cleaning included internal cleaning too. Also they put insurance deductible on me saying that I broke thier rear bumper when I never did so. If they want to make money why dont they increase thier rent intead of cheating people. It all started out positive. A little delay vehicle was not ready. But on the trip. RV worked. Paid the extra 100 dollars for the kitchen linen package. Told them we were going up to the foothills of NE Oregon. Did not use the kitchen ware. Very limited not sure if clean. Linen package. Was insufficient. We froze our asses off. A well worn thin white sheet that did not fit the loft. No pillows. One blanket thin. Fortunately we asked our host for blankets in the middle of the night. When we returned we asked nicely for a refund on our 100.00 linen package. Nope after that no one answered the phone or email. Very disappointed. Either bring your own or spell out the return if they disappoint you. This would have been a positive comment if they were willing to work with us on the linen issue. Freezing takes the whole fun out of the trip. read more

How are these guys still in business? What a disaster. My husband and i flew across the country for a Pacific Northwest trip that culminated with 2 nights of camping at The Gorge. Not wanting to travel with all of our camping gear we figured that renting an RV would be the way to go. It was my birthday trip and i was looking forward to a relaxing weekend with AC on demand and the comforts of "camping" in style. Instead, I spent 3 hours on the morning of my birthday driving around Seattle in a huge clunky RV trying to get the generator fixed b/c it did not work at all. We called for help but the folks at 5 Corners were the least helpful people i have ever dealt with. They even had to nerve to say that we didn't need the AC, since it wasn't that hot out (it was 75 in seattle, but 90 at The Gorge!!). Even after adding oil of which there was none to begin with, the problems could not be fixed before our departure time. Additionally, the dashboard air conditioner was busted. We had to buy battery operated fans ($30 each) and batteries for them (8 D cells each!). We also had to buy a camping stove since we were certainly not going to cook in an RV with no air conditioning in 90 degree heat. We called our credit card company and told them not to let the remaining charges go through. I absolutely will not pay $1200 to not have AC in the desert on my birthday. i will not pay more than half price minus the costs we accrued on extra gear. i wish i could give 5 Corners negative stars. read more

I reserved a 23' RV in January 2016 for a June rental. This was our first time driving an RV. Yeah, I knew their equipment was old and funky, but it was worth it for me to rent close to where I live. The RV was 15 years old and had 133k miles on the odometer. The engine was very loud, and exhaust came in through the driver's window if I had it rolled down. But everything did work. We got 8 miles per gallon on generally level State highways at moderate speeds. We returned the vehicle on time with a full gas tank, and I told them we tried to leave it cleaner than we found it. They told me they would refund my damage deposit, over-estimated mileage, and the half tank that it was short when we picked it up. So after a month I had not seen my refund on my card. I called 40 days after the vehicle had been returned and was told I had to call back after 10:30 AM when the book keeper was there. The next day she told me their credit card had been compromised and they would not have access to their bank account for a couple days, and that I would be "at the top of our list". That last bit raised a red flag, so I looked up their online reviews. One of the BBB complaints against them from 2015 was for a similar delay of refund, to which they responded with the EXACT SAME EXCUSE they told me about their credit card being compromised and having to wait a few days to get access to their account. When my refund was not there a few days later, I called back and she said she was in the shop, and said she would call me back in 10 minutes, which she never did. I called the next day after noon, and the man who answered said I "just missed her", and I had to call back the next day after 10:30 when the book keeper was there. So refund questions can only be answered between 10:30 and noon? Continuing to call a couple times a week, I finally did get my refund two months after returning the vehicle. read more

Not recommended. I had read some horrible reviews on Yelp but I was desperate because I was needing a reservation quickly. I made a reservation on May 24th and paid my $500 deposit. I had to cancel and called on June 7th. Sheryl said she would refund my $400 (and keep my $100 per the agreement). She did not refund my $400. I call again today - July 14th. Worst experience I've had fixing a motor vehicle. Would highly recommend reading online reviews before booking anything with them (mistake made, and won't ever happen again). We used them as we hadn't winterized our RV properly, and it had some cracks in the pipes. We dropped it off, and I called every couple of days to get an update on estimated costs (which I had asked for before any work was completed). He was rude and abrupt every time I called, which I ignored and was polite in response (I'm not a person who likes confrontation). He then got in touch almost 2 weeks later, saying it was done (hadn't given me costs in advance like we had asked), fixed not only the plumbing, but also said there was a leak in the roof which he fixed (which we actually knew about and planned to fix ourselves over the summer to save money - we have the RV under a cover, so not an issue). The whole thing came to $1,000 and he demanded that we drive out immediately to pick the vehicle up, and we also needed to pay over the phone, right then and there (without having seen the RV). I said we were out of town for a few days, and couldn't come immediately, and asked if it's okay to pay on pickup - he got EXTREMELY angry and accused us of getting out of paying, going off on large rants. This whole thing was completely out of the blue, we were polite, and the guy (and his office girl), are incredibly abusive. Was very nervous about our RV being left there. My husband came back from our vacation early to pick it up, as they had threatened to charge us for storing the RV if we didn't pick it after the weekend. When he got there, there was a different, really nice guy who helped him. Wasn't until he was driving home that he noticed the stereo was missing. We guess they left the RV unlocked, and someone broke into steal this (as there was no damage to the locks etc)...? Didn't even bother contacting them about it, as would pay money not to have to deal with them again. read more

No, no, no! We rented from 5 Corners for two weeks and it took three RVs to make it through. The first has 125,000 miles on it, and the "service engine soon light" was on when we pulled out of the parking lot. Then we discovered that it pulled severely to the right when we hit the brakes and the turn signals did not work when the lights were on. We returned it the next day and were given an RV with only 110,000 miles. That night we discovered that the battery did not charge while we were driving so we had no lights, stove, or water. We chose a campsite with electricity the next night, but discovered that the fridge wasn't keeping things frozen. The next morning, the rug was wet and continued to get wetter through the week until we finally discovered a hole in the rear wheel well that allowed all of the rain water to splash in! We got back to Seattle and picked up RV #3, which we parked so had no troubles. Our deposit was supposed to be refunded in 15 days; it took over a month and several phone calls and a complaint with the attorney general's office of Washington. read more

Yep, I like to give them minus stars also! They substituted a much bigger RV than we asked for, which caused us to use more gas, there was no ladder for the over cab bunk, the step to the outside was supposedly fixed when we left their lot, but it stopped working again. The kitchen faucet "blew up" 1/2 way thru our trip. At least one tire was out of balance which made for a very noisy and sort of scary trip. We therefore told them we didn't think we should have to pay for the extra miles we put on the rig. They agreed but said that we would have to pay for the gas to top off the tank. We agreed to that as we had used 2-3 gals of gas after we filled it up and before we dropped it off. But they dummied up an invoice for $260 in gas and propane and subtracted it from the deposit we were due back! When I emailed them about it, I told them that someone must have made an error when checking in the rig and confused our rental with someone else because our propane tank was totally full and gas only 2-3 gallons shy of full. (I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and not call them cheats and swindlers outright). Of course, no reply after repeated attempts to get it resolved. So yes, just like the review of 7/9/2011, it was another case of made-up baloney in an attempt to not refund your full deposit. Hoping credit card company can get some resolution. read more

In April of 2014 I put the required $500 deposit for rental of an RV from May 9 to May 12. I returned the RV on May 12 and asked them about the inspection and refund of my deposit. They told me to call back later in the week which I did, They told me they had 15 days to return my deposit and that this was noted in the contract I signed, So I waited 15 days and called them on May 27th. I was told that the refund would be credited on June 2 - it wasn't, I again called and was told that the credit sometimes takes a couple of days to process. I called again on June 18th and asked about my deposit and they told there was a mix-up at their end and they would process it immediately............not true..........still no refund. This is pretty much a night-mare and I have been forced to dispute the charges through my credit card company. I am going through that process right now. Unbelievable!!! read more
