The owners were very particular about the cleanliness, everything that went into the camper was sanitized. The owners provided us a hassle-free and stress-free experience. They supplied all the basic amenities from kitchenware, towels, vacuum, trash bags, seasonings, even shampoo/conditioner and hand sanitizers, all we had to bring were foods and clothes. Even more, they delivered the camper to the RV park, set it all up, taught me how to operate it, even refilled one of the empty propane tanks in the middle of our week-long stay. Their pricing is very competitive, for the services that they provided. We want to truly thank the owners for such a good memorable trip. Highly recommended!

The RV was very clean (like new, despite having 60,000 miles on it), drove smoothly down the road (not loud at all, as someone else experienced), and my family had a blast driving down the Oregon coast. David at the office called me in advance of the rental to explain that he could dewinterize it if the temperatures went up, but if not, he walked me through what that meant for use. It had actually been snowing the day before our pickup and therefore it was way too cold to use the water/sink/tub, but it ended up not mattering at all. Given that the winter prices are so much cheaper than peak times ($500 for the whole week), it seemed more than fair. All the RV places we went had full bathrooms and showers anyway! The trip ended up being very affordable, we were able to cook nice meals on the efficient little gas top, and everyone was toasty at night thanks to the thermostat/heater. Pick and drop off was quick and easy. I would definitely rent again!

I also loved the email list with tips and ideas. They really cover it all! The van had 220,000 miles on it but ran like a gem so clearly serviced regularly. Great visibility in the windows (no real blind spots while driving) and the turning radius of the maverick wasn't bad at all. If you go over mileage, the fees didn't kill you either. 10/10 recommend booking here and no they didn't beg me to write this review... I just love talking about my trip and this great van company!!!! Tip: make sure you bring an aux cord, dongle if you have an iphone and an AV car charger for your devices. You can always buy the aux cord as an extra if you need it! Don't forget to add a $5 propane tank. Finally, when returning the van, there are 2 gas stations near by... if passing the Escape Campervan property on your right, go past it to fill up. It had nearly 300,000 miles. It didn't have any modern amenities (e.g. no carplay or gps interface). They also nickle and dime you for add-ons which is frustrating. I think there are too many other private campervan rental options (e.g. Outdoorsy) at a competitive price point with modern vehicles for us to use Escape again.

The company tried to give us a shorter RV than what we rented, we declined that one and they pulled an RV from "Off Fleet". We took it and quickly discovered that the refrigerator did not work and could not be repaired. We wound up having to store our food in coolers for the duration of our two week trip. They did try to resolve the issue but it was not fixable. Additionally, our toilet in the RV clogged. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. We asked for a discount when we dropped off the RV and were told we had to wait to hear from the corporate office, specifically Victoria. They sold it in about 60 days, even had the technician ride to our house to drive it in so I didn't have to be inconvenienced and found them to be fair and honest to deal with. There are many different places to rent RVs from and I would highly advise that you choose a different place. This is some of the worst customer service and disrespect I have ever received.
