Horrible company - avoid at all costs! You can buy the same furniture from other retailers who stand by their products and provide better customer service then this sham of a company. In an nutshell: We ordered and received a leather power sofa from them back in June 2022 with White Glove service. The install techs noted that one of the power headrests was defective - we immediately contacted the company and sent the requested info and pictures. Checked back several times over the following several weeks, finally they requested the same info again (resent.) They shipped us hinges for some reason, contacted company who said they would now order the replacement backrest. Next day they contacted us again asking what needed to be replaced. Fast forward to November - after numerous attempt to contact the company for order status the replacement arrives unannounced in mid November. The repair company sets a date for a mid December replacement. On the scheduled date after the appointment timeframe the repair company calls us to say due to a "medical emergency" they have to cancel the appointment and would send new details via text message. The text now has a mid January appointment date, yet another month to wait. Call the repair company and they that's the best they can do. Meanwhile we receive an email from 4Seating that the repair company told them we weren't available for our appointment. After straightening that out with 4Seating we receive another email from 4Seating offering us $100 to do the swap out ourselves. We tell them we want the repair company to do it so its done correctly and so that they take away the defective piece. So now we wait... Come yesterday the repair company comes, makes the repair and informs us they can't take the defective part. Contact 4Seating and they say its our responsibility to dispose of it. So on top of having to wait 6 months for a fully functional power sofa, we need to pay to have the defective backrest disposed of that they originally sent us. White Glove service my a$$! I purchased a $2000 theater sofa. One year and 2 weeks later, one of the electric reclining mechanisms went out. Not super happy with the quality of the sofa itself, but 4Seating has been great in terms of helping me with parts replacement. They also have a lot of knowledge in helping me troubleshoot. Folks working here have been extremely nice and helpful. Would not hesitate to buy from them again. Although I might choose a different product. read more

This is by far the worst customer service i've ever dealt with in my life . I ordered my sofa a few weeks ago . It arrived at my cities local terminal at 900am on 11/11/2024 . I assumed i would get a call to schedule delivery. I waited two days and called them on November 13th 2024 . And scheduled a delivery for November 14th 2024 between 10 -2 . On the 14th I left my work 2 hours early at 12 instead of 2 when i get off because my wife was headed to work and no one was home to receive my sofa . I work in a prison and already had scheduled overtime at the local hospital where we had an inmate at and i was to sit with him from 4pm-12am. So around 3pm I called the delivery company (Roadrunner ) about my delivery. She kept me on hold for 30 minutes only to come back and say they would be there between 5-6 . So i canceled my overtime to wait for my sofa only to once again not receive my sofa or even a courtesy call from the company to inform me they weren't coming . I was infuriated with this company and there lack of respect for my time . So on November 15th i called 4Seating and told them of my experience and did not want the couch anymore . He proceeded to tell me that it would be a 30 percent restocking fee and i would be charged for shipping that they paid there to me and back to them $495.00 each way . Mind you i did not pay for shipping as it was free shipping . So i paid 1800 for the couch and 30 percent of that is $540.00 . So 540.00 + 990.00 shipping . So 1530.00 for a 1800.00 product that still had . All because i waited a whole day and already missed out on 560.00 of overtime waiting for them . The customer service representative told me he would waive the 30 percent restocking fee or if wanted to still get the product him would refund me a 100.00 . So still i wound pay almost 1000.00 for a product i never got . I asked the customer service representative to speak to his boss and his said i was lucky i got him on my call that he was the boss of customer service and there was no one else i could speak to . Richard Valdez is his name by the way and he also said they weren't at fault for the shipping companies mistake and even compared it to if you "put a letter in the mail and the post office messed something up ". I explained if you pay this company to handle you are definitely responsible for there mistakes too . I most definitely am not . So to summarize they only wanted to give me 100.00 for the inconvenience but charge me a 1000.00 for the inconvenience. All of which was none of my fault . So i hung up the phone disgusted and given those options figured i would just wait and schedule another delivery. As i sit here on November 16th 2024 typing this the shipping company still has not reached out to me since the no call no show on the 13th for a reschedule. Absolutely ridiculous and terrible customer service all around . As 100 percent disabled veteran and 26 years in state and federal law enforcement now i have done nothing by do my job with integrity and honesty. Very bad customer service! I had 2 chairs delivered on 8/31. 1 of the chairs stopped the message mode a couple weeks later. I have called them almost everyday for over a week for service and every time I get a different story but no fixes. Very frustrating! First we went through the trouble shooting, next time they were calling the manufacturer for a fix, next I asked for someone to come out and service it and was told the companies that they use for service isn't really familiar with their products, next , the person who could help me, the VP wasn't in that day, lastly the person who could help me was in a meeting. Finally got missing chair and they delivered brackets that are now just sitting on my floor waiting to be installed. I wish to add an addendum to my initial review of 7.6.21 While the company has been generous in now refunding the full amount that I had paid for the seats, I remain having one USB port that for the second time is faulty and not operational. Their warehouse had sent me two shipments...both the wrong part. Their outsourced furniture repair company, FSN sent a Tech over..he confirmed that the part they had sent [both times] were incorrect. When 4 Seating finally confirmed with their own Tech individuals that the part was indeed incorrect, they shared that they would be ordering a new part 'which would be coming in about a month from China.' In the interim, they provided, as I shared, a full refund. Now what happens? The outsourced repair company advised that they could not find the correct part, nor was it their responsibility to do so. I have researched all over the internet for the correct part to make my chair what I had hoped it would be...no luck! I have asked the company today via voice mail whether they are still planning to send me the appropriate part once they receive it from China. Hopefully, I shall hear from them. Day one we had one seat that did not work, we contacted them immediately and after be asked to review their videos & following their instructions to convince them the chair didn't work the customer service guy said he would send out a replacement part on July 3 but no technician would be available for weeks & that we would have to do the replacement ourselves or wait, We called July 5 to check status of replacement part to find out he NEVER put in order for replacement part. She said however long Fed Ex took is when we would receive it. July 8 we received A replacement part but it was NOT a replacement for the chair we purchased. Unbelievable. I purchased a customized sectional from 4seating. The leather is beautiful. But in their ads it says the recliners fully recline. Well the foot rest does not completely come up so your legs are at a 25 degree angle. The back only reclines to about 45. If I had know this I would have bought more of the chaise recliners. I called the company and even though they were late on delivery by 2 months. I happened to be away for almost 8 weeks after it was delivered:. They didn't care and would do anything about it. When it arrived three weeks later the deliverymen could not get it in the house and I had to refuse it. Initially I was told I would have to pay a 30% restocking fee, but after speaking with an amazing sales rep named Ángela, who got me a full refund, the situation was resolved. I strongly suggest you ask the sales reps how large the items are, including the size of the boxes they come in, and that 4seating should do a better about relaying that information as well. Had appointment Dec 16, 2020 at La Habra, Calif. showroom and purchased leather chair by credit card. Was told our model and color was in stock in Texas and it would be shipped the next day. On Dec 21, I inquired to get tracking info on shipment and was told the chair was out of stock and that we could expect to get it in March 2021. Really? Then, the next day we received an email that the chair was being shipped. This caused me to look at the Better Business Bureau and become a little nervous. After yanking the chain of customer service as tracking showed it sat in Los Angeles for over a week, the chair arrived to our home on January 11. After I unpackaged the chair, I noticed a metal hinge was not attached squarely so that an armrest did not close without flexing the cover. I left a telephone message for repair assistance. I removed screws and re drilled new holes to fix it. Never got a call back. And our salesman has never had the courtesy to return my call from a week ago. Overall the chair is just fine. My wife likes it. But I will never buy anything else from this outfit. read more

I have been going back and forth with them to try to get it fixed or replaced. It's been 7 months and we still haven't resolved the problem. I was able to sit on different styles before choosing the one I liked. Dario who helped us was very nice and friendly. They had top-notch customer service as well. The most ridiculous company I have ever done business with. We ordered a 4 piece couch, around $5,000. Waited 5 months for the first delivery. The seats were so incredibly uncomfortable. Not usable. Terrible! We returned the entire purchase and replaced it with something different. We hade to pay a $1,500 "re-stocking fee". The replacement took ANOTHER 5 MONTHS. We have pets so we didn't want to cause any damage to the couch so we covered the seats with sheets and did not use them, in our theater room, for 5 more months. When they finally delivered the new couch, they delivered the wrong pieces, some end pieces didn't have arms and middle pieces that weren't supposed to have arms had arms. We called the company and sent pics explaining what pieces were wrong. We waiting another 4 months and got the delivery today.....WRONG PIECES!! Just unbelievable! The delivery company just left everything, did not take the initial wrong pieces. So now we have 6 WRONG PIECES in our house. I don't even understand. We are out almost SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for a terrible uncomfortable couch with incorrect pieces in the set delivered. Makes me sick. read more

Without any appointment, I showed up to look at their showroom. Right away a very nice (and highly knowledgeable) guy introduced himself (Dario Galvez). I believe that this is a family business. Talk about "no pressure" and "take your time" and "do you have any questions" (I had many). Dario proceeded to help in every way. After trying out quite a number of different chairs, I found the loveseat I was looking for. The checkout and explanation of when delivery is going to be was crystal clear. I made an order for 2 7-inch riser platforms from the 4Seating.com website on July 27 order #465041. My credit card was immediately charged for the entire cost of the purchase, and I received an email stating that the estimated ship date was 16 August 2019. The Platforms were being fabricated, and I expected an extended timeline on the order. On 21 August 2019, I had still not gotten any updates on the order, so I called customer service and asked for an update on my order. Customer service couldn't get me an answer but said they would talk to fabrication to see what was going on. The next day I received the following email: Hello Erick, The manufacture just advised me that your new estimated shipping date is 8/28/19. Thank you, Angela Allen Customer Service Representative No apology or insight on what was going on, just wait 12 day past our original estimate for no reason. On the 28th of August, I still had no update, so I called again, and the gentleman from sales told me that customer service had gone home for the day, it looked like the order was on hold, and he would put in a "yellow ticket" to have them call me the next day and let me know what was going on. I did not get any call, so I called them back today, 31 August and Talked to Anna, who said Customer Service wasn't working today (Saturday) and she was in sales, but that the ticket was in there. I explained the extended timeline, and the fact that nobody was communicating with me, and asked if I needed to call my credit card company to get my money back. She said she could cancel the order but didn't seem to think this was out of the ordinary, and certainly didn't offer any apology or explanation. I've been promised a call on Monday, Labor Day, so we'll see how that goes. So far, they have been quick about charging me for my order, but horrible about communication, and slow with fabrication. This may just be an issue with their fabrication orders, and I'd imagine it's easier for them to keep orders of things already in their warehouse moving. All of this would have still been an acceptable experience with better communication and some apologies... assuming I ever get my order. As an update, after posting the initial review, I received an email from Lynn at customer service later that evening. She did in fact call me herself on Labor Day, and promised me my order would ship the next day (3 September). I received a shipping notification email on the 3rd with an estimated arrival date of 10 September. I'll make one final update to my review when the platforms arrive. Shipping update. It is now 24 September and I still have not received my order. At some point during shipping the original 10 September estimate changed to a 12 September estimate. On 12 September I called Road Runner Freight at 855-776-3567 and told them that my tracking number said that it had been delivered. They informed me that it had been delivered to Decatur, Ga and still needed to be delivered to Macon, Ga where they would call me to set up a delivering window. I was told they could not set up a delivery until it was in Macon. The next day at work at 4pm I realized I'd missed a call some time between 1pm and 4pm and I had a voice mail from a truck driver who had my delivery. I called him back and he said that he was no longer in my area, so he would have to deliver it on Monday. I informed him that I'm an Air Force Pilot and would be flying out of the state until Friday morning. He said that he would hold it for a week, and I told him I would call him back on Friday. On Monday 16 September I got a call from his boss at Middle Georgia Shipping who said they had made an attempt to deliver (without coordination) and I had to accept it today or they would send it back to the original shipper. I told him I wasn't in the state and he said that it would be sitting on his loading dock and he couldn't promise it would be in good condition when it shipped. I told him I could accept on Friday afternoon, but he said they like to wrap things up early on Friday, so it would likely be Monday. I called him three times at 478-742-0890 since I returned on Friday and left two voice mails, but they have not returned my calls. I called Road Runner Freight again at 855-776-3567 and spoke to Jackie at Road Runner customer care in Ohio, who said it would need to be reauthorized for shipment by 4Seating.com. I will try 4Seating again later today when they have their real employees in during normal business hours west coast time. 1 October, still no progress, with no end in sight. 2 October, 4Seating gave me a refund and I'm moving on with my life. I'll update if I ever randomly receive the products, but I'm guessing Middle Georgia Shipping lost them. read more

Be careful buying these when you can't try them out in person! They charge a 30% restocking fee plus shipping. We just received ours and they are very uncomfortable. It's like sitting on rocks and not bearable for our backs. When we tried to initiate the return (in original boxes and perfect condition) they said they would have to charge us a $1500 restocking fee!! Update: just received a voice-mail from 4 seating saying that in order to return the chairs I would be responsible for an additional $1,200 shipping charge! On top of the 30% restocking fee. Originally they quoted me $293 for shipping which was reasonable. So, we would lose $2,700 on $5,500 chairs that no one can use for more than 30 minutes at a time without major back issues. read more
