So worth the drive! Jon addressed all of our questions, and even had a few for us to think about. Prices were competitive, and ended up with a quality dining room set that was exactly what we wanted, and matching counter chairs. Customer Service was great, and no pressure to make a sale. Thanks Jon. Appreciate you and your business. read more

A returning costumer from 2010, we were greeted like family by John. My wife explained to him what she was looking for which I thought we'd never find. John visually scanned the show room, turned to us saying follow me. He proceeded to lead us to his what I thought was the perfect dining set. He then suggested a different chair that made the set even better for a price that is much less than we expected. He ordered us the table with 4 chairs and we will pick it up in 2 weeks. The variety of show room dining sets and stools is excellent. They also carry special order amish made dining room furniture being dinettes with matching credenza's. Thank you John. See you in 2 weeks! read more

I appreciate seeing the colors and feeling the materials. Great support from Jon finding just the right bar stools. Thank you!

Great selection and customer service. It's great to support a local business. We were searching for a dining room set for my mother and found exactly what we needed atthis store. The showroom is large and there are quite a few dining sets to choose from. read more

A nice, family-run business with the best inventory of quality stools and dining sets you will find. We had very specific stools we had been shopping around for and no other stores had what we wanted or were willing to try to find. After Yolanda showed us some of her inventory of stools, we were able to select a model that fit our needs. We were even able to order the stools in a special fabric we had chosen. I recommend Dining and Stools Unlimited without hesitation. read more

Bad experience..I knew what I wanted but the person Jon was rude and just wanted to get back to eating his lunch at the desk and go back online to his screen. Waste of time to drive all the way here for nothing. read more

My wife and I were in the market to replace our two kitchen counter stools. Our old ones were creaky and inexpensive, and we wanted good ones. We were going to go to another store I found on Yelp, but it would appear to have closed. My wife found Dining and Stools on Google, and we decided to give it a try. It is located at the corner of a small strip mall on N State College near Orangethorpe. Upon entering we were greeted by a tall, bearded, gentleman named John. He was friendly and pleasant and explained the layout of the store. Nearly all stools could be purchased at bar or counter height. We walked around, trying out many different stools. Finally, we settled on a style that was both attractive and comfortable. We had originally planned to just look but found stools that we really liked and wanted to purchase. We had not shopped anywhere else so we didn't do any comparison shopping, but the price seemed reasonable. My wife noticed a slight indentation on the frame of the back support of the stool. John called another gentleman from the back of the store and he came out and painted in the mark and it looked fine. This man helped carry out the stools and place them in our car. We got home, placed the stools, and used them for dinner. They are very comfortable and fit well with our decor. We are very happy with our experience at Dining and Stools. read more

From start to finish we had great service..we had some issues with a manufacturer defect but all issues were taken care of immediately with constant communication (even though we were working from out of state). This company completely backs their products that's why we have always shopped there.. They also have the best selection of stools and dining sets..The store also helps you with any design issues and questions. Know if you buy there you will end up with a quality product and a store that will also always back their products. Thank you Dining & Stools. read more

I recently had a wonderful experience at Dining & Stools Unlimited. John helped me find just the right bar stools for our newly finished bar room. He even had the bar stools in stock. I drove out there to pick them up as soon as I was able. I was warmly greeted by Erin who was expecting me. The staff expertly loaded the bar stools in my car. My husband and I are thrilled with the bar stools. The price and quality were perfect. Our expectations were exceeded. Many thanks! read more

Friendly customer service. Big selection of dining chairs and tables. Reasonable prices.

We went here looking for a new dining room set. Looked at what was in their showroom, some sets were just okay, but the sets we were interested in could only be seen from catalogs. Very hard to know what you are getting from a picture. There was one set they had in their warehouse that the saleswoman said they could open the box to see what the color of the wood was but when we went into the store, she said there was no one who could open the box, that it needed to be one of the warehouse workers and they were not there that day. That is not what she told me over the phone, gave me the impression the box could be opened anytime we showed up. Other issue we had was, the salesman there said he would ask his reps about a few of the sets we might be interested in, what the true coloring was and he never got back to us. The store has quite a few outdated dining sets that no one buys anymore, dining chairs on wheels went out in the 80's. They claim they can't put anymore sets on their showroom floor because of space, there would be space if they would do away with the outdated sets and bring in current styles that customers are looking for. We were also in the market for bar stools, again, outdated and quite expensive for what you're getting. No, I would not recommend. read more

Great selection of Bar stools, and great staff. We'll definitely be seeing them again! read more

I came into this place a few weeks ago because my coworker said that this place might have some deals on tables and furniture. This place was the most expensive.... the outside shows it's more of a "deal" type of place in Anaheim with writing all over the windows instead of a High end store. Some tables and chair sets were over $3,000!! That's crazy!!! I saw the same exact table and chair set online shipped with tax more than half the cost down for around $1,200.... Also, they don't have some stuff in stock so you have to wait a couple weeks for delivery. Would not recommend. read more

I needed a kitchen table for my new home and was having the hardest time finding the right size/shape to fit into a small cozy space. I shopped all the well known furniture stores in the area and surprisingly had no luck whatsoever. I then searched Yelp to find additional stores and came across Dining & Stools Unlimited which just so happened to be up the street from me. Jackpot! I found EXACTLY what I had been envisioning in my mind, in just the right size. (It's a gray wash finish with a distressed wood look.. love it!!) Jon was very helpful and showed me their catalog with addtl options as far as matching chairs etc go. Table set was delivered last week and I couldn't be happier. I wish I had known about this store sooner and didn't waste a month shopping around at places like Bob's and Ashley's... Definitely check this store out if you are in the market for tables, chairs, or bar stools!! read more

Had a great experience here with John. Came in based on yelp reviews and so glad we did! I got 2 bar stools for my apartment. I told him our counter height and he told us exactly what we needed. They are super comfy and the best price. He did warn us that due to the lower price point that the stitching would be not 100% matched up but I don't mind it at all. They had to build them for us but they were ready the next day. Overall 5/5 experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for good quality products. read more

We had been looking for dining room chairs to match our current glass table. Couldn't really find anything we liked. Through Yelp found this place. Yolanda was amazing. We ended up buying a whole new set minus the glass. She was very patient with us. We took samples home and must have come back three to four times before making a decision. The only glitch was we choose a solid red fabric for the bench and the company later informed her that they no longer carried it so we went with the same fabric on everything. She even offered to change it for us if we found a red fabric that we liked. Again, great selections, tons of choices, and great quality. Glad we stopped in! Now time to decorate my dinning room! read more

We were in the market for some new stools for our counter and all of our usual home decor hot spots came up short. Though we had found a bunch of interesting designs online, we wanted to be able so sit and interact with the product to ensure it was really what we wanted. Sometimes things appear shiny and neat on the internet, but when it arrives at your house, it's a piece of crap. We found this store by accident thanks to the Yelp app. I've lived in the area for most of my life and probably passed it a thousand times, but never took notice to it. Located off the 91/State College, the showroom is massive featuring a ton of different chairs for not only your counter, but for your dining room tables as well. They offer a variety of customizable options to the quick cash and carry opportunities, so even the pickiest of people should have no problem finding something they like or get an idea of what they want in the future. The staff were great and went out of their way to accommodate you. They not only answered questions, took measurements, gave design advice and offered customization to meet your needs without being pushy in the process. Look for the sales as they have price points all over the place, and even a clearance section if you just need one or two things for the house. If you're feeling stuck on inspiration and want a spot where you have a ton of options, I definitely recommend you check them out! read more

This store sells just what their name says, dining chairs and bar/counter stools. You can get a table to go with your chairs here as well, but the focus is definitely on seating. From the exterior and the design of their logo (pure 70s) I wasn't sure if the merchandise would be up to date, but the styles are indeed current and the prices are right. The only way I know to get new chairs cheaper is Ikea or Target, and the quality here is a huge step up. The salespeople are attentive and helpful, and are tolerant of children. I also like that you can carry your purchases out the same moment you buy them, or come back later to pick up. No waiting for shipment or delivery. They'll help you load your car if you need it. I bought three counter-height stools for my kitchen, in just the style/color/cushioning I wanted, and a year later they're still in like-new condition. Across the street is an architectural salvage place I keep meaning to visit but haven't yet. read more

Purchased a pair of counter height stools in the past and one of them broke recently. I called and John was quick to take remedy the solution. Turns out we were past the one year mark. Despite that John was still able to get us a replacement stool at no cost to us in less than a week. My wife and I appreciate the service. We love the look of the stools and were afraid without a proper replacement we would have to get it fixed ourselves or have to buy a new pair. This type of service is hard to come by and would recommend John to anyone looking for stools/chairs for their home or business. Outside of service, their showroom has a varied selection in which most stores these days cannot offer. read more

My husband and I found this store on the internet as a result of trying to find stores that sold stools for our kitchen island. We had searched many furniture stores and just weren't finding anything we liked or that worked with the design of our home. We are so incredibly grateful we found Dining & Stools. There are stools you can buy right of the showroom floor and then there is the ability to design your stools according your your style. There are thousands of options because you choose your chair design, the finish, and the material for seat. My husband and I spent about an hour or more working with the owner to come up with what we were looking for. When our seats arrived a few weeks later, the owner told us she hadn't seen that combination we ordered before and absolutely loved it which goes to show that the options are limitless considering the thousands of stools they've seen over the years. We absolutely love our stools because they are so comfortable and like art in our kitchen. Our guests usually choose to sit on our stools than on our couch or dining room table. Hands down the best place to shop if you are looking for bar stools that are unique, well made and limitless in options. Highly recommend to anyone because you find exactly what your looking for, get great customer service and prices are reasonable. read more

Jon and Roxanne are the best. We stopped in the store by accident while driving bye. Jon helped us find exactly what we had been looking for. We needed 3 island height chairs and a desk chair that matched. They accommodated us by having the height adjusted on a island height chair and they also installed our fabric on the cushions for FREE!!! Love the barstools I purchased for my kitchen remodel! Jon was so helpful! Great experience!

The sales people here are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we were unable to find bar stools to fit our needs. Apparently we have an unusually high counter height (45") which requires a 32" or 34" height bar stool. The most common heights are 26" and 30"; which they did have a good selection of. The sales lady offered to look through her different mfg catalogs to see it any offered this height but unfortunately she couldn't find any. Luckily I found a pair of 32" bar stools online and they're arriving tomorrow, yay! read more

What a great store! Lots to choose from, great inventory so we could take the stools home that day and the sales person we dealt with was excellent. Could not have had a better experience from start to finish. They allowed us to "check out" a stool to insure it fit with our situation and colors. Would highly recommend this store. read more

My wife and I bought some outdoor bar stools about a year ago, and recently had to take one back because one of the screws stripped out. When we took it in they tried to fix it, but it was too stripped out. After talking to Yolanda, she decided to replace the top half of the stool at no charge. She really came through for us, and stood by her merchandise. We will absolutely be back. Great service, and great products. read more
