This is right outside town where you can walk just a few blocks to the heart of town, the rates are reasonable for the area, and we were in a spot with full hookups right by the river! It was gorgeous! This was our honeymoon trip, and it was amazing! The RV Park is popular, so you are packed in there, spaces are close together, but even with the park completely full it was quiet, and people were respectful. The laundry room and bathroom with showers were both really clean! Police patrol the area regularly, so it is safe.

Great place! Jill was awesome & professional. Grounds keepers polite and helpful. Views and location to town excellent. Laundry difficult with door getting locked and only 1:3 dryers gets hot! ***Rebecca difficult on a couple occasions. She is argumentative and over talks..doesn't listen or try to help or fix situations.

Yay spending the next 4 days in beautiful Ouray Colorado with the family.

This is our 2nd trip here. Ouray is a beautiful town and this RV park is the icing on the cake. It's nestled in the mountains with a stream running through it the staff is very helpful and friendly not to mention it's within walking distance to town. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Our front 'yard' view and the big rigs campsites.

Stayed for almost a week in June. Our spot was along the cliff for the small RVs and campers. Relatively quiet, level and wonderful location. Facilities are great for a campsite: clean bathrooms and laundry rooms, and never had to wait for a shower stall. Showers are free and laundry costs a couple dollars. They also sell reasonably-priced ice and propane (not refill: exchange or buy new only), which was handy. Always friendly staff who went the extra mile to help, even loaning a tool when needed. Only real issue I have was enforcement of quiet time (starts at 10pm). Two neighboring spots had late night outdoor movies the first two nights we were there. I told management after the first night that the movie kept us up until 10:30. They misunderstood my complaint and did not talk to our neighbors. The second night management happened to be walking by while the movie was playing after-hours and did talk to the campers, but only requested they turn down the sound. They stayed up until 11:20pm, and we could still hear the sound. Luckily they left the next morning. Our campsite had enough room to stretch out a bit, but not as spacious as most campsites. The big RVs did have tighter spots, but seemed to make it work. Much appreciation for the military discount and friendly service. Perfect location to walk or bike everywhere in town.

Beautiful RV Park with variety of RV and camping options alongside the river and cliffs on edge of downtown--easy walking downtown.

Pet-friendly, walkable everywhere downtown, right off the river. Some tree-shaded spots and a variety of camping and RV options. Bathrooms and showers clean, trash dump, friendly staff.

Great place to stay. Quiet & clean. Spot by the river is very nice and the view is breathtaking.

Loved the campground! It was perfect because it was walking distance to town and everything. It was also nice and quiet. The bathrooms/shower area was really clean and roomy. The laundry room was clean and easily accessible. The weather was also amazing, as we were there in July and staying in tents. The fire pits was nice and all the tent sites had one. They also had a picnic table. We loved it there!

Walking down campground road. Close to town and park.

This was a wonderful campground for us. We had 2 class As traveling with 8 kids and 4 adults. The bathrooms were very clean and big and roomy. That made all the difference! We all showered every night in warm showers. The campground was beautiful and right on the river. Being here in fall the changing colors made it amazing. There was a clean laundry room and staff was nice and accommodated us for washing times. Didn't give all 5 stars because there's not much playground for kids - just swings and not much grass area for them to play in. But we found a big park close and they walked to it when needed.

We have always enjoyed staying here. It is a well run RV Park and everyone is quite friendly and 4J+1+1 is right in town. Great place.

It is clean and, while the sites are small, it is easy to see why as you are between a mountain and a river so space is at a premium.

Because we had booked so late, for our four night stay, we were in three different spots 70, 58 and 60. All were very good, but 70-72 are the best with wider spots. Definitely worth the extra cost. We were contacted by email and text as we got closer to our trip, giving us general check in instructions and what to expect, which I appreciated. We arrived after the office closed, but check in was easy with a packet waiting for us just outside the office. This park is well maintained with beautiful scenery and is surprisingly quiet. There were several campsites with dogs, but the owners were good about keeping them quiet. My husband and I walked the park when it cooled down in the evenings and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We even made some new friends who we hope will cross paths with in the future. There is a general store within walking distance stocked with basic non perishable items. The highlight of our stay here was our prime rib dinner at the Ouray Cafe and Restaurant located on the edge of the park. It's a must stop if you're here! We didn't go to the hot spring, but it's a close walk from the park, as is downtown Ouray. This was a great first trip for us and we'll be returning!

Five days of soaking at Orvis, exploring Ridgway (Colorado Boy Pizza n Brew" & "Lazy Dog Restaurant…read more& Bar"), day trip to Telluride and day trip to Ouray (ice walls, Wiesbaden Vapor Caves). Excellent glam camping experience. Full kitchen in an awesome clubhouse made morning tea and coffee and heating breakfast easy. Clean, well lit facilities. Dark sky area made star gazing breathtaking. Interesting UFO activity. The caretakers were lovely (Hannah and her man). Will visit, again!

When we were leaving a staff member told us to wait and she would have the maintenance staff come down and plow behind our vehicle for us to leave. After standing outside for 5 minutes I sent a message saying, "Are you going to come plow??" Which the owner then stated was me being rude to staff and that we could have gotten out without their help. We didn't ask for help getting out.. a staff member told us they were going to provide that service to us. They also said we were disruptive to guests, but the tent next to us was up way later than we were?? They are upset that I got AirBnB involved for a refund and are retaliating against us by leaving a false narrative on us. I wouldn't give Sam or Heather two pennies of my money ever again.
