We had just purchased our motor coach and booked a stay here last minute to do a "shakedown" trip the first month. Because we had booked so late, for our four night stay, we were in three different spots 70, 58 and 60. All were very good, but 70-72 are the best with wider spots. Definitely worth the extra cost. We were contacted by email and text as we got closer to our trip, giving us general check in instructions and what to expect, which I appreciated. We arrived after the office closed, but check in was easy with a packet waiting for us just outside the office. This park is well maintained with beautiful scenery and is surprisingly quiet. There were several campsites with dogs, but the owners were good about keeping them quiet. My husband and I walked the park when it cooled down in the evenings and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We even made some new friends who we hope will cross paths with in the future. There is a general store within walking distance stocked with basic non perishable items. The highlight of our stay here was our prime rib dinner at the Ouray Cafe and Restaurant located on the edge of the park. It's a must stop if you're here! We didn't go to the hot spring, but it's a close walk from the park, as is downtown Ouray. This was a great first trip for us and we'll be returning! read more

We stayed here for 4 days during August 2020. Cute and clean little cabin rental. The bathroom and shower facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We opted to add on the propane fire pit - it was nice to have in the chilly evenings and brisk mornings. My parents were able to book a spot for their RV - it was nice to be able to stay on the same property. We will definitely stay here again in the future. read more

Good food, cheap, and slow service. They have a large sign that says $5 breakfast. There are 4 choices with this deal and it comes with coffee. Choices are breakfast sandwich, 1/2 order of biscuit and gravy, breakfast burrito, or cinnamon roll. Other menu options include eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and pancakes. The breakfast sandwich was delicious! It also comes with a side of hasbrowns. It took a little over 20 minutes to come out, but worth the wait if you have time. There's seating inside and outside. First time staying in Ouray and we picked this RV resort because it was close to the town and down the street from the Hot springs pools. It was nice and clean. Love the views of the mountain tops with the snow and the waterfall coming out of the mountains. We parked our RV and drove around the town. The next day we drove to Telluride which was about 1 hr. The scenery was beautiful. We would recommend this place to family and friends. Members of the RV were accommodating to when we called for staying at the park. I was really surprised that when we left that they text us and thanked us for staying in there RV park. Great RV park close to downtown Ouray. The sites are all gravel and the full hookups worked great. You can't actually see the river from any of the sites because there's a berm but you can hear it and the campground butts right up to the River and trail. The views are incredible. The on site restaurant is fantastic. The sites maybe lack a little privacy but it didn't bother us at all. Bathrooms are some of the cleanest we have ever seen. All in all, we love it. read more

We stayed at the Riverside RV Park in Ouray Colorado for six days. The park is basically a gravel parking lot with adequate space between RVs. The park is very clean and the personnel are very friendly. The WiFi is sketchy at best our site. The electricity and water were good. This park is surrounded by mountains and the scenery from this park is spectacular. Yes, I hope to stay here again in the future. We did not use the showers or laundry since we have these facilities in our RV. read more

We recently stayed in one of the deluxe cabins for a week of adventure with family and friends. The cabin was perfect! Think tiny house. We had everything we needed including comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, clean roomy bathroom and AMAZING views. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the place was after dark. We rented jeeps for the week too so after a long day of trail riding or hiking, we were happy to go back and get a good nights sleep. read more

Cruising through CO in the ol'RV with no plans and no reservations over the 4th of July holiday.... We called and Kim S. answered delivering the bad news that they were full BUT she had one spot she wasn't sure they would show. She took my number saying she'd call me back. I didn't hold my breath and then she CALLED saying she had a spot not only for 1 but 2 nights. Not sure we wanted to stay 2 she held it for us as we back tracked back into town from Montrose. On the busiest week of the year who does that?! Kim S! The park is much more quiet than 4J+1+1 with everyone being super respectful/family friendly as we are rollin with our autistic 5yo. The bathrooms are ridiculously clean and I was impressed with the on site laundry. Kim and Jeff were super helpful with town information for the holiday and they basically made our holiday awesome! read more

We live locally and had run into a propane issue after hours. there is a zebra on the ranch I work for and the temperature had dropped, and we desperately needed emergency propane to warm a space for her! if it weren't for Ouray RV park we would have been in so much trouble! We really enjoyed our stay here! We randomly chose Ouray RV Park and Cabins as we were driving into Ouray - just based on Yelp reviews. They have a nice gravel rv park with relatively level spots (we weren't 100% level in our spot but it was close enough). Our first couple nights, we stayed in the Riverfront spots (slightly more expensive). I wouldn't really say they are true 'riverfront' because there is a slight hill to cross over to get to the river. In my opinion, not worth the extra cash. We ended up staying for a few more nights unexpectedly and moved to the circle area (less money) and it had wonderful shade trees, a better view of the mountains and we were close to the cafe (we didn't get to try the food) and laundry. The laundry here is the most expensive I've ever seen - $4 per wash! That's more than any laundromat I've ever been too but we needed to get laundry done so what could we do. The staff is very very nice. Owners are great people and seem to really care about their customers. Make it very easy to get in contact with them even when the office is closed. We were also able to rinse off our Jeep after a long day of off-roading which I thought was very nice and not something we see often in RV parks. Overall, it was a really great place to stay and we would definitely come back! read more

The circle sites are a bit tight but there are trees to break up the sites. If you want room book the wide sites or river sites. The laundromat was awesome and the machines worked well. It was $4 per was and extra to have medium or high dirt settings. But the facility was nice and in good order so I didn't care. There is a 2mile river walk and you can walk to town. The Riverwalk is what really made this location for me so that we could get out and walk our dog and get our exercise in without having to drive anywhere or worry about going by myself because it was an unknown hike. The facility is well kept and we loved it here. If you are close the the road, it's a highway you are going to hear it. We turned on the bedroom AC on fan and it was fine. But if you are a light sleeper the riverside spots will be a must. The customer service is amazing. Location is spit on. And We will 100% be back. P.S. we checked out the KOA down the road and I didn't like it. The sites are packed in but it was really hard to navigate the streets are narrow and they put wood around the site pads so it perfectly frames your wheelbase but also gives you zero room to maneuver. The campground is very large and spread out and it is not on the highway so it's quiet. You can get your walking in due to size but we way preferred where we stayed. Especially cause you can walk to town. read more

This was such an incredible experience. The hospitality of the family was above and beyond. They reached out to us via text on the day of our arrival to ensure we would get here safely. The cabin was preheated for us. Immediately upon arrival we were shown around our cabin. The cabins themselves are divine. Our unit had a fireplace, fridge, microwave. The porch has a table and two chairs and we had our own picnic table overlooking the river and riverwalk. I would definitely stay again. read more

We RV and to get a decent place near Ouray this is it. It is family run by Jason and his wife. We've spent a 4th of July and a Labor Day holiday here. We enjoy this place, its proximity to town, and just the walk from here into town along the river. The breakfast/meals are somewhat convenient but VERY basic and can take a while to get your food. Hey, if you're not in a rush you'll get some decent pancakes, eggs, and/or biscuits and gravy. We had the prime rib dinner here one night. Ahhh, quality of meat is not so good but overall it was plentiful and edible. Outside of the cafe, the park is a huge gravel parking lot. They stuff people in here. This definitely is not a 'camp group'. It is more of a place that you can setup your rig and then get yourself into town or the surrounding area. This is an absolutely beautiful part of the state/world and that makes everything and anything worth your while in these parts. read more

Every year, we choose somewhere different in the mountains for a multi- family get together. We chose this location this year. The staff was friendly, the cabins were clean, and the location is extremely convenient. We had a wonderful week. Amber (her husband's name escapes me) was great to deal with, even when we had an illness in the family and had to potentially cancel the trip. Give these folks your business, you won't be disappointed. Useful tips: The current of the river running through the campground is very strong. The upside is that you fall asleep to the sound of rushing water (at least if you stay in a cabin like we did).The downside is if you have very small children, you will want to be sure to keep a close eye on them. There's a café on site that is good enough to be frequented by some locals. They are closed on Mondays but are open in the morning and evening until 7 o'clock. The town of Ouray is approximately a 10 minute walk. There's not a convenience store in town, so keep that in mind, but it's a beautiful town with more than enough bars and restaurants to keep you interested. read more

Rented two cabins in the off season with my brother and our families. Jason (the owner) is incredibly friendly and helpful! The cabins are lovely with great views and are right on the river. Facilities are nice and the location is perfect. I can't stress how great Jason is. We were tired of driving and decided to stop in Ouray, Jason made us a great deal and we decided to stay for the rest of the week. A quick walk from the cabins takes you to the hot spring pools or downtown Ouray. We will definitely make this a regular stopping point on our travels. read more

A great family run biz. I'm a local and showered here a few times when I didn't have water and the hot springs was closed. They were sweet and accommodating. My Dad stayed here once when he came to visit and was happy with the friendliness and spot they provided him. He needed to be close to the bathroom and they did just that. This place was great. We enjoyed our week stay. We are from California and travel rather frequently. We booked a cabin, it was cute and clean. The bathrooms were immaculate, the laundry facility was always clean and easy to use. I would give 5 stars but I have to admit the cabin mattress was horrible. It sagged in the middle, and by the end of day 4 of 7 Hubby and I were ready to call it quits. We were here with family so we toughed it out, but I would highly recommend this place make the cabin beds a lot more comfortable, replace the mattresses frequently. If the beds were more comfortable I would def. stay here again, but I can't honestly say I'm willing to take that chance for another week stay. read more

This is our favorite RV park to frequent for long stays in Ouray (or short ones too!). Full hookups, nice big sites, and easy access to the walking trail along the river or into town. The facilities are always clean and the hosts (and RV park owners) are helpful & knowledgable about the many places to recreate & dine in the area. The Internet is fast, especially during off-peak times, which is a great perk in an RV park. And the views are beautiful no matter which site you're in. We stayed at Ouray Riverside Resort and rented a jeep from them. This was a fantastic stay. We only had 2 nights and arrived late on first night. We hoped to pick up our jeep first night. We arrived just at closing for jeep pick up but they stayed late to accommodate me. REMINDER: Bring your insurance dec page. I forgot mine. Paul at rental building really tried to hook me up. The campsite was amazing! We had a ton of fun driving our Rubikon jeep at the trails. So much fun I think we will buy our own! The trails are so much fun, the towns are great. We absolutely LOVED our stay!!! We were lucky enough to get a cabin on the river. The cabin itself is equipped with comfy beds, a mini fridge, ceiling fan, fireplace, deck, and picnic table literally next to the river! There is also a Riverwalk which leads right into downtown Ouray and right past the hot springs park!!! We had a chance to meet Jason one of the owners upon arrival and he was a wealth of information for the resort park as well as the town. We had the pleasure of staying in a cabin at Ouray RV Park. The cabin certainly did not disappoint! It was very clean, and comfy cozy! The kitchen was fully furnished with everything needed for cooking, and plenty of fresh towels and spare blankets. There is a game room on site with a lot of board games. There is a beautiful walking path that runs next to the stream which was great for our morning strolls. It is conveniently located, and just a short jaunt in to town. The restaurant was fantastic. In our 6 day stay, we had breakfast there 3 times and dinner once. Everything was SO delicious! Definitely get a double order of the hash browns with your breakfast...yum, yum!! The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating. All and all, the stay was a 10! read more

I will get my only, very small complaint out of the way first: they could benefit from new pillows- all four of the ones in our cabin were very lumpy. Other than that, perfect. They called the day of and let us know there was a storm over our route; they told us to take our time and they went and turn on the heat in our cabin so it would be warm for us. The cafe was fantastic and filled with friendly staff. The bathrooms were probably the cleanest camp bathrooms I've ever been in. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

We've stayed here twice, for over a week each time. We stay here entirely for the location and friendly staff. The campground is clean, the staff is thorough and kind and the amenities are sufficient...but it's basically a gravel parking lot. (the upside to that is that your camper doesn't get full of sand!) Pro - The wonderful part is that you are along the river, and bike/walking path directly into town, the hot springs, etc. You can walk to town for lunch, hike right out of town, or sit and enjoy the view from your site. The canyon is gorgeous! Con - The campground is big, and therefore produces a lot of trash (which they manage well with dumpsters) but I was disappointed to be in such a beautiful place on earth...and not see recycling bins and styrofoam used in the store and the cafe. I am hoping they progress to be more earth-friendly soon. Tip - if you're staying here in a camper without using full hook-ups, request to be on the side near the restrooms. We spent a lot of time walking our kids back and forth to the bathrooms, and we were on the opposite end. Or, bring bikes and zip down there on your bike instead. You really can't beat the location if you want to be near Ouray! read more

My family and I came through Ouray just before the official Quarantine in March 2020. The majority of the town was shut down, there were no groceries in the area, and we just wanted to get off the road. The proprietors of this property were very accommodating. The grounds were very well maintained, bathrooms were clean every day, and the owners were responsive when anything was needed. If ever we make it back to Ouray this will be the place that we stay. read more

They called me when my booking came through and said they had a space available for the night of July 4th ( totally unheard of for Ouray on July 4th). We couldn't go but really nice of them to call.
