Didn't bother installing it myself because the support from NavTool is notoriously minimal. Asked Pittsburgh BestBuy and they said they don't know how to do it (smh). Then I took it to Auto Addictions and they said yeah it's doable. Got the appointment scheduled a week later. Then I dropped the car off in the morning and it was done in the afternoon. What I liked the most was their professionalism. They are very knowledgable people and you can tell from the way they talk. NavTool's manual was a total abyss but they somehow managed to install it perfectly (now my old car has CarPlay wooo!). Really, really down-to-details people, made sure that they did not mess things up and kept me posted during the installation. Last but not the least, they charge very reasonably! The lady was super smooth - told me I just had sign some paperwork for the discount and here it was another 5 year contract. Unlike some others I see on here, I did actually notice and told her I was not interested to sign a contract - that I was just go with a cheaper company. She then heavily implied that this was just a formality and she just needed the paperwork for her files to get the discount through. It was COVID and I was tired and dumb and believed her. Now of course my 10 year old equipment is completely non-functional and we no longer even need the system in our new place and we are getting charged a fee to cancel. Any company that relies on early termination fees to keep their customers STAY AWAY. Go with Simplisafe. You'd honestly be better off putting the equipment on credit than taking free equipment from these people.

Seriously above and beyond level of service…read more Shawn not only got everything installed beautifully, from and Android Auto head unit and navigation, with a new backup camera and satellite radio hookups, he did so on a crazy schedule that we changed on him at the last minute. We were preparing our truck for a trip and our mechanics really messed up, leaving us with only one day and evening to get the stereo job done so the truck would be ready to go for our road trip. Shawn had never promised to get it done that quickly, but nevertheless he saw we were in a tight spot and he stayed late into the night getting our install done so we could leave on time. Even though everything was very last minute, he didn't compromise on installation quality or attention to detail. Every millimeter of installation space is beautiful. The backup camera he installed is perfectly aligned. The USB ports he added were placed thoughtfully and securely behind an existing power port. He even took the time to do the firmware updates in the head unit before handing it off, so we would not be stuck waiting on software updates before our road trip - a real gentleman! In brief - Shawn really went the extra mile for us on a multipart and time-sensitive install. If we need automotive electronics or related labor again in the future, we will not be shopping around. We'll just ring Shawn and Cinemagic, because we know we can depend on them.
