I have been getting massages every 3 weeks for the past couple years. As you can tell from other reviews, he is a great massage therapist. I have been getting Freestyle massages, and they are just perfect! I have been getting massages for over 20 years, and I can just tell that Franz is very knowledgeable and very good at what he does. Besides his massage skills, there are some other reasons that I like and recommend Franz. First, he is truly professional and reliable. He has never cancelled and/or changed my appointments. Since my schedule is very busy and not so flexible, having a therapist who is reliable is very important to me. Second, I love his online booking. It is very easy to use, and I really like that I can book my appointments online at any time. I also find it very helpful that it sends me a reminder for my appointment a couple of days before my scheduled appointment. Lastly, his pricing is so reasonable. What he charges is so much more reasonable than other therapists in the area. I also would like to mention that he gives you a 'full' massage - never cut the time. If you pay for 90 minutes, he will give you a massage that lasts for full 90 minutes. If you are looking for a good massage therapist, I recommend you to try Franz. I have been to a lot of different massage therapists and Franz is one of the best ones. He's very friendly, attentive to your needs, but best of all, really does an amazing job getting those funky weird knots out of your troubled areas. At first I went to see him just to relieve minor stress... but recently I started taking a kickboxing class and it really messed up my shoulders and upper back so at my next appointment with Franz I asked him to help ease my shoulder and upper back pain... I didn't think that he would do as good of a job as he did but when I told him about my pain, he made me feel listened to, and took into consideration my situation of having sensitivity there... he is a really good massage therapist, is very knowledgeable, talented, and customized my session... not only was the session comfortable and relaxing, but my back pain is now completely eliminated! Franz is the best massage therapist I have been able to find, and I'm a really picky person! When you first meet him, he is thorough in asking questions about what you want/need. Then he takes his time to feel out your problem areas, digging deep to get the knots and loosen all the tight places. He is incredibly strong, and when he's done, I always feel so much better. Sometimes it's difficult to find people who understand particular athlete aches and pains, but he definitely gets it. Additionally, his business side is everything you can ask for. I found Franz during a Yelp search and I have to say that all the great reviews definitely do him the justice he deserves. He is a remarkable person and a superb professional of his field. He not only focused on the muscle knots that I have been suffering tremendously for so long. He quickly assessed where the root of my imbalances were and targeted those areas with a grip strength I have never seen before. I am a weightlifter and am accustomed to strength, but Franz is on a completely different level. He could crush a bowling ball if he wanted to but thankfully he uses his power for good and not evil! He knew exactly how to coax the knots and tension out with a forcefulness that was suited to my tolerance. Despite his amazing strength, he knows EXACTLY how and when to us his strength, plus he communicates excellently so everything is known and we are on the same page with how he will proceed. I recently moved to the area and got a referral for a masseuse. I am an habitual massage goer. I constantly get knots, tension and stress throughout my body, particularly in the neck and shoulder area because I have a sedentary job. I also enjoy going because they are relaxing and feel good. I usually avoid male masseuses, because I feel more comfortable with female masseuses but Franz is very professional, courteous and has excellent and varied technique. When you arrive, he will ask you if there are any issues you have. He uses more than one technique to get you feeling better. When I leave, my knots and tension are gone. I feel so much better, more relaxed and am able to move better. As long as I live in the area, he will be the only person I go to for a massage. He is simply the best. I'm quite picky about my massages. I don't get massages as much as I'd like due to cost. I took advantage of a birthday special and saw Franz again for the first time in a year or so. I will not forget what a great massage therapist he is ever again! I had surgery recently. He took a lot of time beforehand discussing my concerns and didn't take that time away from my massage time (in fact, I think I got a little extra)! I enjoyed it so much that we hired him to work at our 2012 Foothill High Grad Night for over 350 students!!
