Hello. We are truly disappointed in our last interaction for Lily's grooming appointment. We appreciate all your referrals, but really feel like your comments were unfair and your behavior was unnecessary. Liana has always groomed Lily. The person you observed brushing Lily was simply assisting her to speed up the process. It would have been better if you just asked a question to understand the situation. Unfortunately we can no longer groom Lily. Thank you for your past support! This is from them 12 hours before my dogs appointment that I made a month ago...they cancelled th appointment because I was there early and witnessed a different person other than who I REQUESTED. from their website to groom my dog. my dog loved Lianna-and that is who I requested and PAY my $ for. I was not happy. i booked w Lianna again while she would be the only one there. I also witnessed a cat being so mistreated there that by the owner while I stayed to watch my dog-please stay to watch your cat get groomed!!! or don't take them there. So scary. read more

One of my best friends has entrusted you with the care of her dog Lily, and after hearing what happened in her last appointment with you, you should be ashamed of yourselves. This is not how you treat animals. I will tell you personally my Vet is the only person that can cut my dogs nails and she does it. Every time doesn't even have to be asked. Lily was given an appointment with a groomer that she is familiar with that she knows....you do not pass her off onto someone else to brush her hair, especially when she obviously doesn't like it. And at the end of the day, you do not blame the owner and cancel the next appointment because you feel that you can't groom the dog when if you did it right to begin with there would never be this problem. As her friend, I plan on going on yelp (as I am now) and giving you the worst review I could ever give because no, you should not own a grooming practice, especially when she saw you grab an animal by one leg while you were trying to bathe it, that's abuse. read more

These people are awesome! The gentleman that owns this establishment is very patient and kind and great with difficult dogs. My dog is a rescue and really does not like to be groomed hates having his feet touched, does not like his nails trimmed, etc and he can give him the works, which is amazing plus my dog is calm during the entire process. read more

We have this groomer a try when our regular place lost their groomer. They were very accommodating with scheduling. The complex is under construction (many unoccupied storefronts), so we weren't sure we were in the right place, but glad we found it! Our dog is young & gets nervous in new places or when around other dogs. She did not handle petsmart well with multiple dogs being groomed at same time. This place was smaller, which was perfect. Inside they have done a nice job with new flooring, grooming tables, cages, etc. - simple but clean. We showed groomer pics of prior grooming & minor adjustment we wanted. She did a great job! They told us our dog did well. She was even well behaved when we picked her up, despite another dog on table which made me feel she was comfortable there. Prices were reasonable too. I messaged 4-legged barbershop in Glenside that I would be a few minutes early for my pup to get groomed (bc I had something else scheduled.) I went in and they said, you're...um...early. "Yeah, about seven minutes?" They took my dog and fixed his quarantine look. I was also an entire day early and didn't realize it until much later. I don't know if they're always that kind, but it certainly deserves a shout out. read more

I was looking for a new place for my Himalayan cat and found this place. At one point my cat was at Pet Smart and I don't know what they did to him but he was not happy and it's been a challenge to get him cut since.. Let me tell you how comfortable I felt with him being cut here. They loved him, and I felt at ease. You not only gave Gizmo a beautiful cut but he is happy and so are we. Beyond pleased with this place!!! I struggled with where to take my pup for his first cut and after I asked around I settled on pet smart.. they could only do a trim because of his age but that was likely for the best. When I picked him up he looked like a fru fru pup and He just looked unhappy. This place asked what I was looking for and listened to what i wanted! My poodle mix was happy and cute! He looked exactly as I had imagined in my mind. He smelled great and they washed him with an oatmeal bath and he hasn't been itchy since I picked him up! Already booked next appointment ! read more

It's pretty difficult getting an appointment to groom dogs in the north west Philly area. This groomer has always found a way to schedule an appointment for one or two of my dogs. Additionally, they are quick and really skilled with my dogs which I can only imagine how difficult they might be to manage. read more

The best groomers out there!!!! Clinton was Amazon with our nervous dog and it is the best haircut she ever had!!!!

We take our 15 year old dog to see them and he comes back looking AMAZING! Because of his age and partial blindness, we have been asked to leave other grooming facilities because our pup can get scared and try to nip the groomer (we always tell them this ahead of time). Love this place. My dog coco usually does not like strangers but has a huge liking to this place. Been here twice and Coco always comes out clean and most importantly happy. I've noticed when I take her here her skin is not bright red. I used to take her to petmart for grooming and she always had red skin coming out. I thought it was just because she was nervous by now I see there was seriously something wrong that they did. Sparkling cuts always treats coco with kindness and love and I will always come back here and recommend my friends to this place. read more
