Bianca got us a car. foley is not far at all from Gulf Shores, I think just 6 miles away. I flew in on the 7th of August 2026 and flew out on the 10th. I messed up thinking th flight was at 8am but was for 8pm. We went back to Hertz Foley location and Bianca hooked us up with no reservation and got us a nice Buick for the 12 hours we had to waste till flight. I saw some very low reviews and was kind of shocked by them. The Foley staff were all very nice and professional. please don't pass on them because of low rated reviews. Give them a chance and I don't think you'll regret it. thanks Bianca!

When I called back to book, I spoke with someone else. The quotes were very similar for the same package, but for 4 less days. After some discussion back and forth, the representative gave a 2-day rental quote that seemed more reasonable, so we proceeded. We have kids, so we added the $25 protection insurance but, BE WARNED. It only is for BROKEN gear, not lost. We added it because we were more concerned about a kid losing a mask or snorkel in the ocean waves, not necesarily breaking one. $60 for a lost mask that was of poor quality. I was too sick and had to work, so I couldn't unload my truck in time for the scheduled drop off time. Due to this, I called the 800 number and they gave me until the next business day (2 days later) for free! This was because the drop off location was not open. However, this location changed their hours and called to let me know. The owner did his best to accommodate my situation and I returned it a day late and paid $0.79 tax only...virtually nothing...even offered a storage unit at a discount when I told him how I was moving into a smaller place. I will continue to only do business with this establishment and let everyone I know that they are the best I have ever dealt with.
