Superb service!!! No other compares to this place. The ease of renting beach equipment without hassle or breaking the bank is a game changer!!! It was so easy to make my reservation online for what we needed. When I arrived for pick up, they gathered the items and helped get it all loaded. When we came back, even the return process was plain and simple. Totally look forward to coming back and doing it all over again. Anytime my life can be made easier during vacation and not result in a small personal loan at the same, I will do it. But excellent customer service will keep me as a customer for life!! Thank you all so much for being here--Tater & Sarah Harris--amazing business! read more

I spoke with one helpful representative and received a quote for a 6-day rental package. Given the weather forecast, we decided to only rent for 2 days. When I called back to book, I spoke with someone else. The quotes were very similar for the same package, but for 4 less days. After some discussion back and forth, the representative gave a 2-day rental quote that seemed more reasonable, so we proceeded. We have kids, so we added the $25 protection insurance but, BE WARNED. It only is for BROKEN gear, not lost. We added it because we were more concerned about a kid losing a mask or snorkel in the ocean waves, not necesarily breaking one. $60 for a lost mask that was of poor quality. (Our Dollar Tree masks actually worked better.) read more

While vacationing in Gulf Shores, we decided to rent a Polaris Slingshot. What a great decision that was! I found Gulf Coast Rental through Viator and reserved the Slingshot for a day. Everything was great! First, the Slingshot. What an incredible machine! It was so much fun to drive. I chose a manual (5 speed) and enjoyed every second behind the wheel. The vehicle is very fun and easy to drive. It handles like a sports car, and accelerates quickly. I will warn drivers to be careful, especially over speed bumps and when entering some parking lots. She sits very low, and the front bumper can drag. It's also hot - you really feel the heat off the engine on your feet & legs. Still, I highly recommend trying one of these. You won't regret it! Gulf Coast Rental is amazing! From the minute we arrived to pick up our vehicle I knew we made a good choice. They have a very nice, clean facility. The equipment is in excellent shape, and it's obvious they take pride in what they do. Everyone there took excellent care of us and made us feel valued as customers. They rent many different items, so if you're interested in things other than Slingshots they have you covered. Everything from beach chairs to Jeeps, you can get it here. And, they have some very good rates. Our Slingshot was $225 for a full 24 hours (plus $15 per driver for insurance). Very affordable options to enhance your vacation experience. The bottom line is this. Whether you're looking to rent a Slingshot or just some basic beach equipment, you need to consider Gulf Coast Rental. Top-notch people, great customer service, affordable rates, and quality equipment. I'll definitely rent from them again! read more

Gulf Coast Rental - Beach Equipment Rentals Near Me - Orange Beach, Alabama

See all

Top notch all around. Friendly service, GREAT prices, lots of really great options and very well maintained. Really can't find a fault with this place. We rented a few beach chairs and a table for the week for the price of one day at the condo. Picked up and dropped off ourselves, so I can't speak for the delivery service but I can only imagine it's great as well. Will definitely come back if we make our way back this way again. read more

My family vacationed in the Gulf Coast and the condo we rented only allowed two parking spaces but we had three cars. The host gave a list of overflow parking places. I parked my car at the Gulf Coast Rental Company's parking lots for 4 days. I had absolutely zero issues. There were many vehicles and boats there. And the rates were really cheap ($15 a day). The only con is it was 10 miles from my condo. We had to use Uber (which was also really cheap) to get to a couple of attractions. But it was a beach vacation so most of the time we were on the beach. read more

We arrived late yesterday afternoon and booked a beach package for 4 people for a week after reading about Gulf Coast Rental in our home guide. The rental itself is an awesome deal - four chairs, a cart, two umbrellas, a cooler, and two tables for a week! Orlando at the Orange Beach location contacted me bright and early the next day to arrange delivery. He was super-awesome to work with. He gave us a brief tutorial for the umbrellas and we were off to the races! We had a slight issue with one of our umbrellas, I texted Orlando and it was resolved within 15 minutes. The rental in and of itself would have been an awesome deal, but Orlando's top notch customer service just took it to another level. We'll be back and we'll definitely rent from Gulf Coast Rental again. read more

The slingshot we rented was in terrible shape it was all scratched up had exhaust leaks and transmission problems and smelled like a wet dog when we first got it. When I told employee it was not a good experience she just ignored it. For the money would not recommend. read more

So happy we found this company to rent from during our week long stay on Orange Beach!! We rented the 4 person beach pack and it was perfect for what we needed! The price was so much less than the beach guy rental. The equipment was great! It was easy to get it down to the beach and the set-up for the umbrellas was also easy and very stable. Drop off and pick up were done by the nicest guys! We will definitely use this company again if we are lucky enough to visit Orange Beach in the future. All around great experience!! I heartily recommend them! read more
