Long version - Please continue reading: First of all, this is my second time trying CrossFit (2018) after being really inspired by one of my girlfriend's facebook story/posts. She's amazing!!! I stayed away from CrossFit because I didn't think it was a good match for me. I decided to give it another shot after speaking to her. Cleanliness: I'm a clean freak. I'm neurotic. I know, I'm crazy but hey! It's the pandemic. This gym is super clean and their bathroom is super clean (yes, I checked and I approve of how clean it is). There are a few lockers in there which I haven't used. I just put my stuff against the wall and wait for the fun class to begin. After the equipments are used, each members wipe it down with Saniwipes (yes, I checked this as well). All the barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, jump rope, rowing machine, bike, etc EVERYTHING is cleaned after use! I love it! Staff: I've only took classes lead by these Coaches: James, Mike, Jesse. This review is based off of them. I always ask questions. Sometimes, questions bother people and they get annoyed. These three coaches are amazing! They're super friendly and was answering all of the questions that I have. They're super friendly and very motivating. Any injuries you may have, please speak to them! They were able to modify certain workouts for me and really paid attention to my form (along with the others). You could see the passion in them when they speak about the workouts. They explain every workout, movement, and form. They go over this before it starts. Class: You will sweat. Your hearts going to pound. HARD! Your heart's going to feel like it's about to pop out of your mouth. Okay, okay..That's IF you're unhealthy like me and it's been years since you've worked out. Everyone works out really hard and are super motivational! You will be sore for the next 3 days! After 3 classes, I felt healthier, had more stamina, was able to shovel snow without a problem (no, really...). I seriously had WAYYYYY more energy than expected and of course, I was in good spirits! Exercise really makes a difference in your mood and I will proudly say Peak180 is now my new happy place! Oh! I need to mention... they have whiteboards! So if you have a lot on your mind like me, grab one. Write down what you need to do. It'll make your life easier when your brain decides to sleep as you tear your muscle fibers. Members: A bunch of amazing people! They're welcoming, friendly, and a bunch of beasts! Watching them work out as I did really kept me going. I didn't want to give up even though my body felt like jello. Parking: There's PLENTY of parking in the back. Work out, grab some coffee at Mongo's afterwards (if they're still open) Location: Enter the lot, drive all the way to the back, make a left and you'll see this wonderful place! They have gloves you can use if you don't have your own and a locker area to keep your stuff. The room where you work out is dark so you don't have to worry about looking uncoordinated if it's your first time. It was a 45 minute class that went very quickly due to the different workouts. My favorite was the boxing, but there were other workouts such as squats, planks, crunches, weights involved. I would love to take another class here, I don't drive so it's over an hour on the bus each way, but they do have an option to book a class whenever you want instead of buying a package which is great for someone coming from a distance without a car.

My abs were sore, my arms were sore, and my legs were sore! This class is challenging, but FUN! I never found myself staring at the clock counting down the minutes -- and I didn't dread my next visit either, it's hard but doable. The class is a combination of floor exercises, and the Skiers Edge machine. You rotate in a circuit between the different exercises. I'm not a skier but found I really enjoyed the skiers edge machine and it helped me activate rarely used leg and glute muscles. Shred is new to the fitness scene so they have some great introductory offers. Absolutely worth a try, they found a loyal customer in me!

I love this studio i discovered last week. All classes are an hour and are very weights focused…read morewith daily rotations of different focus groups like abs, arms and back on Wednesdays for example. I started with the Solido class which was amazing and targeted glutes and abs. It literally flew by and I was sweating! Next I tried Savage, which rotated between 4 minutes of different weight training and sculpting moves and then 4 minutes of treadmill work. Their treadmills have handy guides for athletic levels and intensity and the incline and speed are easily adjusted. I liked this class and according to my Apple Watch, burned a TON of calories here, although I do not recommend doing this class fasted as jumping back and forth and the starting and stopping from moves and sprints made me quite dizzy at times. This class was on the first floor. Finally, I tried a Tonic class, which was very weights focused and had active breaks in between the working portions. This class was on the lower level of the studio. Each class has an instructional video ahead of time and moves demoed on the screens the entire time with a timer for the moves and timers to show your progress in the class which I really appreciated. The music in every class I took was always super fun and a mix of EDM, hip hop and Latin music. They also offer a spin class I believe called Stride and a boxing class called Jab The studio itself is amazing with lots of neon lights to set the mood, plants, tons of reflective details in the locker rooms and on the lockers and gorgeous seating in the lobby. The lobby has a bar with tea, coffee, some waters and pre packaged protein drinks. I do wish they had more of a selection of pre and post workout choices but I'm sure those will come! They let me know soon they'll be offering alcohol as well and free wine if you take a class on Friday! You get a hand towel for class and if you want to use their showers, they provide towels. The bathrooms are gorgeous and have amenities provided. Some of the best studio showers I've been in with plenty of room to hang your toiletries. The staff was super polite and outgoing and everything was clean and tidy. They even have a clothing shop with unique and cute workout sets from a Latino owned brand. I can't say good things enough about this studio and hope they expand their class offerings!
