This place is FABULOUS! I have been here a total of three times and I feel like the staff are old friends of mine already! I attending the grand opening event and it was wonderful! Plenty of good food, good drinks and fine entertainment! Who knew this place existed! It is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who would like to host a small event. They have conference rooms, podcast studio's, office spaces. Very conducive to the creative process. Very clean and modern with exposed brick walls. Very inviting! I happened to come across 3rd Space Cafe on my way to Penn Station during my brief visit to NYC and was pleasantly surprised! Camilo was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the coffee beans. I'm so glad I stopped in to experience this cafe and learn about the coffee beans they carry from Colombia, Guatemala, Bali, and Kenya. I'm not a black coffee drinker but the Jax Brew Blend was superb. Super happy to take some beans home to Charlotte, NC. Thanks for energizing my last day in the city! read more

Yay, Newark is getting an awesome new coworking space that's walking distance to Penn Station! I've been looking for a good spot and recently discovered 3rdSpace, which is opening soon. I have my own consulting practice and bounce around at coworking spaces in NYC and NJ for clients but don't have a car so being able to use public transportation and walk places is very important to me (although they do have a parking lot, which looks super convenient too...). Spoke with their management and sounds like they thought of everything - great design, private offices, open desk space, phone booths, event space, fast wifi, even a full-service cafe... They also told me they plan to offer founding member rates for their earliest members, hoping to take advantage of that! read more

I took a tour of 3rd Space as I am considering renting an office there and I was so impressed with their meticulous attention to safety protocols right now. Everything from a state-of-the art air filters to contactless door faucets and door handles -- it feels like they are really covering all of the bases. I took advantage of their day pass special and I feel like I would feel safe going in to work here every day. I also liked the convenient location and that it was family run. I'm a freelancer and in the area often... I took a quick peek at the inside under construction and the place looks great. Spoke with a friendly manager who showed me interior renderings and it looks like it will be a great addition to the Ironbound. Clean, lots of light... will certainly set-up shop here once its complete. She said a café was coming to the building too, serving Red House Roasters. I like it. A few minutes walk to Penn Station and there's on-site parking. I've been to numerous co-working sites in several cities and already this looks to be one of my favorites. Also some nice apartments for lease above. Get in while you can, its a nice space! read more

3rd space is super cute and nice add on for residents like me to utilize for either work or event space purposes. There is a worker named Kenny there who is super nice and helped me out during an important closing meeting I had. Its clean, fresh, modern, and just an overall good space. Keep it up! read more
