Korean BBQ wings with blue cheese

Best damn wings I have ever had! Came through town and searched for a pub like place on google. Decided to visit. Ordered a couple of beers and wings. Got the korean bbq and blue cheese. They blew my socks off! Came back the next night before leaving town. Repeated my order and it was consistent. It was a Saturday night and got lucky with a seat at the bar. They had a live band playing old rock tunes. They were OK but way too loud. Service was great, everyone was friendly. I am sad to leave town. I may have to move LOL!

We went in for a quick dinner because the boys were craving a burger. We were not initially greeted as the bartender was the only staff in the room and he was serving others. We were finally sat and the bartender was our server as well. He was doing his best, but he was stuck behind the bar most of the time so service was spotty. The space is really nicely decorated and I bet it's awesome when they have love music come in. The food was...fine. Pretty standard bar fare. The boys said the burgers were the perfect thickness. The fries were a little bland in my opinion. If you're looking for a bar with live music and cool people this is your place. If you're looking for amazing food...maybe skip this one and come back when its time to drink.

Stopped by on a brisk Saturday evening for an early dinner. Pulled into the parking lot where parking was a plenty. At the other end of the parking lot is a grocery store which was bustling. Walked into the grill and the door had barely opened when I heard a cheerful voice call out "welcome, come on in and sit wherever you'd like". The bar had plenty of seating available (which is where we sat), band on the stage, and generous tables and booths available around the place. I ordered the tomato soup, grilled cheese, egg rolls, and a sweet tea to wash it down. The service received was hands down incredible. We were made to feel like old friends and the vibe of the place was super chill and inviting. The food was amazing, clean restrooms, decent prices for items on the menu, and overall a place I'd highly recommend visiting again. Based off all the local chatter, it's clear lots of the people that were visiting the establishment were regulars. The establishment offers a variety of events such as putterball night, live music nights, and even caters for private events. Stop by if you are ever in the area. Or even make the drive to visit - it's worth it!

Just tried E & J for the first time. By far the best deli in Waynesboro. Great sandwich and salad selection. Highly recommend going.

Sorry this place is too expensvie.15 bucks for two beers and a order of fries is ridiculous. Better places at cheaper prices.

In my opinion the best burger I've had since I've moved to the area is the Yosemite Sam at E&Js.

My partner and I came for dinner last night (a Tuesday). We arrived around 5:45 pm and were…read morepromptly seated. The restaurant was not very busy, but there was a pleasant vibe. The inside reminds me of a Chili's or Ruby Tuesday, but a bit darker. I think it's a nice atmosphere, appropriate for date night, a group, a family, etc. Our server (who has worked here for 3 years) was friendly and efficient. To start, we ordered a bowl of yesterday's soup special (She crab) and a small order of boiled shrimp. The soup was excellent, creamy, and with small pieces of crab throughout. The shrimp (six in the small order) were prepared well and came with a tangy cocktail sauce. The server brought over a loaf of their complimentary bread, which is actually three breads together in a single loaf. The bread was good (I preferred the dark loaf part) and came with a peach butter. We were told that the butters change periodically. The butter had pieces of peach in it (!) and we enjoyed the novelty. Our server mentioned that they also have a pistachio butter and maple butter. Yum. I ordered a salad with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing on the side. The salad itself was good - fresh, with crisp lettuce, tomato, cucumber, apple, almond pieces, etc. Then there was the dressing. Although I mixed the salad dressing in the cup before tasting it, when I did taste it, it was almost all oil with no discernible vinegar or other flavor. I kept stirring and tasting and nothing. So I abandoned the dressing. For entrees, my partner ordered the charbroiled salmon in herb butter with a side of broccoli. The salmon was prepared well and very tasty. I ordered the mahi-mahi, with the sun-dried tomato butter sauce on the side. The mahi-mahi was well prepared and tasty on its own. Honestly, I tasted the sun-dried tomato butter sauce and it was essentially whipped butter. I didn't think it added anything to the entree so I didn't use it. The potato came with butter and sour cream on the side. The potato was very good. Although we were full and not planning on dessert, the server came over with small cups of peppermint ice cream, calling it a "palate cleanser." It was very good and a nice touch. Other than the salad dressing and the sauce for the fish, it was an excellent meal in a nice atmosphere with good service. When we were leaving at around 7:00 pm, the line was out the door.

Grt them if you like ribs. My only regret and it was my own taste buds the bbq sauce needed some heat. My wife had chicken with artichoke hearts and sauce. She said it was tasty and the sauce sublime. Overall, a must dine at historic restaurant in Staunton.
