Positive: Alan was very friendly and personable, and his workmen did a decent job on the new…read moreflooring. He fixed an uneven spot in the kitchen, and his price was reasonable. The floors no longer squeak. Negative: His guys made gouges on the walls, left a thick layer of dust which we had to mop up (twice), and left their extra materials in our trash can instead of taking it to the dump. One of his guys came back and repaired the walls (which only looks OK, not great.) We spent several hours cleaning and touching up paint after they left. When I told Alan about the various problems, he got defensive and said it never happened. He has called me a liar more than once. He made excuses for everything, and never once apologized or offered to make things right. He also put new molding around my tub which did not stick. Alan said he didn't know how to do that and that's why it wasn't sticking. He didn't send anyone over to fix it. He also told me I refused to pay him for the installation of the tub molding, which is untrue. (He told me he wouldn't charge me.) At one point he said, "I have never had anyone complain about my work." Because of his poor customer service I would not recommend him. I have included some photos from after the install.
