When the gentleman from S&L came, he kept the comments brief and professional. Oftentimes in my experience, contractors will exaggerate the condition of the problem in order to charge more or get you to agree to getting unnecessary work done. No "slimey salesman" vibes here. Also, their quote was one of the fairest from the list. They arrived on time, worked at a good pace, and cleaned the area afterwards, which is something I don't see typically from contractors I've used in the past. The work was only done today so time will tell if it holds up. However, I'm confident that the job was done well because of the level of professionalism they displayed in all the other areas. Around 9:00 pm on a Monday, my water heater catastrophically failed (major leaking out of the…read morepressure relief valve pipe and lots of rumbling/popping noises). I feared the unit was about to explode, so I called IWV Plumbing, which has a 24 hour on-call technician. I reached somebody immediately, and the technician was at my house within 15 minutes. The technician was very friendly and verified that my water heater was properly shut down. He also capped the water lines so I could turn the main water back on to the house. Based on the age of my water heater, we decided it was best to replace the unit, and the technician was able to get me on the schedule the very next day. Two different technicians (Felipe and Andrew) arrived promptly at 2:30 pm that Tuesday to remove my existing water heater and replace it with a brand new unit. They were both very professional and friendly. The installation was quick and efficient, and I had a fully functioning new water heater a few hours later. I am highly impressed that IWV Plumbing was able to install a brand new water heater less that 24 hours after my original unit failed. Additionally, the new water heater installation (including haul away and coding upgrades) was the cheapest in town and came with a 10% Military Discount off the labor. It also came with a 2 year labor warranty and a 6 year unit warranty. The cost of the emergency after-hours call was very reasonable as well. I was highly satisfied with IWV Plumbing and plan to use them for any future plumbing needs. Thank you for a job well done!!

We have a stainless steel kitchen sink which is a thin sheet of metal. First I called Cardinal Plumbing to schedule the installation. The girl on the phone told me that I would have to put the hole in the sink before they would install the air gap kit which is a $15 part at Home Depot. I told them then I don't need you. If I Cardinal is unable to do simple and easy jobs; then how can I trust them to do complicated and difficult jobs. I can no longer recommend Cardinal though they have done several repairs on my home. I called IWVP and the young lady set up the appointment for the very next morning within less than 24 hours. The gentlemen showed up this morning, drilled the hole and were done in about half an hour. They are very polite, friendly, professional and very competent. I HIGHLY recommend Indian Wells Valley Plumbing. They also only charged me $130 though the estimate was $150-&175. They under promise and over deliver. We are just as pleased now as we were then with the quality of workmanship done on the remodel. It even held up superbly during 2019's summer of earthquakes! The workmen are respectful of the house and, while they came and went freely, they never wanted to be in the way or to inconvenience us any more than they had to. They are family men who are kind and courteous, work hard, and do it all day every day. The work site was clean both physically and in language/demeanor of the workmen. When we looked for licensed contractors for the job, we narrowed it down to 3 who were within about $1500 of each other for the same job. Working with Marilupe was a dream! A female contractor had the very best measuring tools, communicated clearly and as frequently as needed, and was very thorough. When we requested to get cabinets through a local company rather than regular suppliers, she happily began that partnership and the whole job was coordinated and finished earlier than anticipated and with great quality products. Don't be afraid to ask for something if you want it! We're still thrilled with everything and how it was installed. I recommend them to everyone I know looking to do some remodeling!

This was an extensive renovation to make the home handicapped accessible. All upgrades to meet current bldg. regulations were done to include new windows, electrical, plumbing, and insulation throughout the house. New A/C & heating unit was installed. Solar was installed. The craftsmenship on the install of the flooring, cabinets and trim are outstanding. The stucco was patched around the windows & doors and the exterior was painted. The whole interior was painted as well. Essentially, we have a new home. Marilupe & Jose were so good communcating issues that came up and coordinated the work so it was done in a timely manner. Their scheduling of the subcontractors and inspectors kept the job progressing. I'm so proud of the job that JCJ Chavez Construction has done to my home that I wanted to share with others so we can continue to support our local businesses that make our community thrive.
