Contractor bid on a job that had a very detailed plan. We did not deviate from the plan. They were…read moremore than 2 months late in starting the job, no communication on the delay. After starting work, the contractor backtracked on 1 feature of the backyard leaving us to figure it out on our own. He reduced the cost but since it wasn't spelled out in the bid, we have no idea what amount should have been deducted. There was an issue with drainage that this same contractor had installed but was damaged by a dif contractor when brick wall installed. The price to fix this was not established and the final bill was quite high for a few pipe repairs. After pouring concrete, we expected it to be stained and sealed per the plan -- but it didn't happen. After pretty much begging to finish that part of the job, we were told a different contractor would do the job and we were to pay separately for that -- no price quote for this sub contractor, no refund for not doing the job. We were told to set it up on our own. Sub contractor never followed through - so still that part of the job isn't done and again we are left to figure it out on our own. Our concrete promptly cracked in multiple areas- as in cracked within 10 days. We've hired Greenscape twice. We wanted to redo our front yard but we cannot hire someone who doesn't meet commitments, timelines, and charges blindly. We would have accepted a different bid had we known the job would not be completed. On the plus side, the foreman Pancho is fantastic and knowledgeable. He should start his own business. I'd hire him.

Jose is very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Their work continues to be top notch and we were left so impressed by how our steps came out. WOW!!! Don't think twice, call their office and set up an appointment, Mirella will help you get scheduled. She's so nice and wonderful. Jose and his crew will show up on time, leave your home nice and clean once they're done. Both Jose and Mirella ensured our complete satisfaction.

I contracted this company to resurface my backyard, level off the dirt, and put grass down. I…read morebelieve the price was a little over 5 grand. They ultimately asked me if i wanted seed or sod. I went with sod. I live in the northeast of Bakersfield. Well, after about a month, the sod died, all of it. It was watered properly. Ultimately, the dirt from the sod washed away, revealing the hard clay that was there before. I have come to the conclusion after speaking with other landscapers and my own research, that the company did not ammend the soil, as it is hard as a fucking rock and i cant even get bermuda seed to grow. Before they came i had not problem growing this easy to plant seed. It's coming up on two years, just about, and my yard is patchy and uneven. 100% is not worth 5000 dollars. This guy either got lazy and did not ammend my soil or did a shit job. I called a contractor because i wanted a nice lush soft backyard. Instead, it's hard baron clay lumpy, and im 100% disappointed and out 5 grand.
